“Liar George” is back in Seminole County jail, licking his wounds and at the same time counting the dough being donated to his PayPal account. As his PayPal account thickens, bringing in close to a thousand dollars a day, he’s behind bars and his wife Shelly is shaking in her boots because she may soon join him.
Did he really think his jailhouse phone calls weren’t being recorded? I’m surprised they didn’t teach that in criminal law. Did he think that moving $44.46 to another account was going to go unnoticed? I can’t remember the last time I had a conversation about transferring $10 to another bank account. Hell, if all I had was $10 in my bank account, it’s time to close the account.
Yes, I think some of my fellow Americans have picked the wrong hero. Liar George is the wrong guy to waste your hard earned money. I know why he’s being treated as a hero. It doesn’t take much of a brain to figure out that he’s the Hero because he was called to carpet by Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the new black panthers. But let’s not kill the messenger. Trayvon Martin can’t help who his supporters are.
I think this case raised some political overtones when during this election year, the President of the United States remarked “he could be my son”. It seems a few other ballsy politicians have used this tragic case to garner public attention as well. Remember Representative Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) who arrived on the floor of the United States Congress. He was soon escorted from the House floor for wearing a gray hoodie and sunglasses while delivering a rousing speech about the need for a full investigation into the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year old in Florida.
What happened to the righteous people waving American flags? They shoved their flags in their front pocket and are going to let this one slide. Why, because he’s black and you’re sick of reading newspaper headlines like this one, ” 5-year-old Fatally Shot at Child’s Birthday Party”. That’s the headline I read Wednesday morning, May 30, 2012 in Times-Picayune. It’s sickening.
Are people letting this one slide because as I’ve heard, Trayvon Martin was a killing-machine in waiting? He like mixed martial arts and is said to have used them to kick George Zimmerman’s ass. Perhaps I’m wasting my energy waving the American flag on this one too and should stuff my flag back in my front pocket. I could do that but I’m not because I see this case as something that should have brought people together instead of dividing them.
This could have been a bit of inspiration for those who say it’s impossible to live happily in a world of different colored skin. A learning experience, per se.
As a citizen of the United States, I’m tired of the Great Wall which divides us as people. Everyday, someone will label you as either a liberal or a conservative. Is your skin dark or light or in-between? Are you gay or straight? Are you male or female, I can’t tell the difference.
We are divided by sex, by race, by color of skin, by religion, by politics, by sexual preference just to name a few. The Great Wall will forever be! I’m beginning to accept that fact.
Coming together is out of the question. Although you’d think it wouldn’t be but that would take forgiveness and as human beings that’s seems to be impossible.

On June 1, 2012, Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. responded to a motion filed by prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda that stated George Zimmerman and his wife lied while under oath at the bond hearing on April 20th imploring Judge Lester to revoke George Zimmerman’s bond. Both George Zimmerman and his wife Shelly Zimmerman swore to the court that they were indigent but under further investigation into jailhouse phone calls it was apparent that George and his wife knew of at least $135,000 that was donated through his website, “I Am the Real George Zimmerman”
Mark O’Mara, Zimmerman’s attorney argued that his client could not afford a $1 million bond as the state attorney’s office was asking. He portrayed his client as a part time student, working as an investigator for an insurance company and his wife was attending nursing school. Witness after witness testified to GEORGE ZIMMERMAN’s financial status and good reputation as an honest man, and hard worker.
O’Mara convinced Judge Lester that George Zimmerman was not a flight risk and happily handed over his passport.
What Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. didn’t know was that the passport handed to the court was
(#301813125) which is the passport that was reported stolen or lost on March 8, 2004. On March 26, 2004, George Zimmerman obtained a new passport (#017355779). This passport is valid till 2014. This is the passport that George still had in his possession. It is now in the possession of the court.

During the hearing to revoke George Zimmerman’s bond, his attorney Mark O’Mara explained to the court that it was a misunderstanding and that George or Shelly found the passport (#017355779) while they were moving into hiding which is groovy for them because it just so happened to be the passport that wouldn’t expire till 2014.
O’Mara explained to Judge Lester it just slipped his mind but the Zimmerman’s did hand over the newly found passport to him at a much earlier date.

The passport not originally turned in had been reported lost/stolen by GZ. He applied for and rec’d a new one. This automatically VOIDED the lost/stolen passport by the Dept. that issued the new passport. It was un-usable. It would have automatically come up as VOID. Also, the original passport was reported lost/stolen in ’04. It was issued 05/02, which means even if still active, WHICH IT WAS NOT, it would have expired 05/12. Read the court records re: these 2 passports. These FACTS are right there!

Loly, you’re so right, I don’t understand why GZ would lie or at least not be more forthcoming at trial. I hate to come down on O’Mara but if as GZ claimed on his website, that the money was for his defense, maybe O’Mara thought if GZ had to pay a $1 million on a bond, it wouldn’t leave much for him. Passport #301813125 that was applied for in May 22,2002, would have expired in 2012. In March of 2004, when he reported passport #301813125 lost or stolen. He obtained another passport on March 26, 2004. This is Passport #017355779. This passport would expire in 2014. The one O’Mara gave to the court was “#301813125″. Check the motion to see which one was turned in. If he turns in #301813125, then the only one left is “#017355779″

I don’t think anyone is denying he lied. Neither did Casey. But, a liar does not a murderer make, as the jury confirmed. Unlike the Anthony case, none of this is relevant to the charges against him and won’t be a issue if this ever gets to trial. We must remember too, that bond is not intended nor designed to be a punishment, only an incentive to return to court when necessary. He is not a flight risk and proved that already so a reasonable bond was appropriate. O’Mara just announced a few minutes ago he decided to delay the new bond hearing for a couple of weeks. JB. The second passport question has already been answered. O’Mara explained it all in the courtroom on Friday, and provided the documentation.

The one that O’mara has is the one that expires in 2014.

My Aussie killed a chick, not doubt about it. But she didn’t murder it. As for the paypal funds and bond, while it wasn’t right to misinform the judge, I seem to recall the judge saying he didn’t know if he had jurisdiction over that. So my question would be, if he doesn’t, how does it affect this issue? Also, being one that receives payments through paypal, I know that there is a 45 day window that people can ask for refunds. In that case, non of those funds received within the proceeding 45 days belonged to George Zimmerman so is he really lying?Yes, I have possession of those funds once they are deposited into my account and can request a transfer that takes 3-6 days. But I don’t legitimately own it until that grace period has expired. I wonder if O’Mara and Zimmerman are aware of that.
Zimmerman’s wife told the prosecution that she didn’t have an estimate of the paypal account but the BIL did so why not contact the BIL. After Ms. Zimmerman for an estimate of how much had be obtained or collected how was she supposed to know that. Ask her if she had access to the site, when was the last time she visited the site and what was in there the LAST time she visited the site would have been a whole different story. When there are funds being deposited daily, and have been over a period of time unless you were the main one overseeing the site, the only one able to transfer funds there really is no way you can say what has been collected.
Everyone knew of the paypal account on April 27 and the amount that was in the account. O’Mara made the court and the prosecution aware of the fact that he now had control of the funds. This whole paypal didn’t become a big deal until Mr. West became a part of Zimmerman’s defense team.

Excellent question, why didn’t the court contact the BIL? You would think the judge or the prosecutor would have said, “oh really, well lets get him on the phone, can we call him?” Very good point. And your right, O’Mara let it be known to the court that he controlled the PayPal on the the 27th so why didn’t anyone want to talk to the person who was in control on the 20th?
He lied more than once during the hearing. At the bail hearing George Zimmerman made a point of addressing Trayvon Martin’s parents. He said, “I wanted to say I am sorry for the loss of your son. I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than I am. And I did not know if he was armed or not.”
In the 911 transcript George Zimmerman describes Trayvon Martin to the dispatcher as being in “his late teens”, and confirming that Trayvon was in fact a teen again to the dispatcher.
George Zimmerman’s apology was not well-received and his attorney had to again step in and apologize (make excuses) on his behalf. I think his attorney knew instantly that George had gotten tangled in another lie and quickly tried to tamp out the fire before others noticed. But he lied….again. I bet if we hear all the recorded statements made by George Zimmerman we will get an even better picture of the state’s case against him. These are just the first of many contradictory statements, to be sure.
One other comment about the 2nd passport. An attorney with Mark O’Mara’s experience and obvious savvy does not forget to surrender a passport for a client for 30 days – EVER unless they are incompetent. He’s not. O’Mara may have satisfied the judge’s concerns with charm and grace, but it defies logic. You can’t tell the judge your client is in hiding, scared, confused, and so he must be forgiven for “mis-stating” the truth, and that his attorney (who knows enough to shut down the website and start a new one that is administered independently by an auditor) is a hapless administrator of important filings in a high profile case. Let’s suspend reality just a bit more.

And you mentioned the passport incident that I think is interesting. Absolutely, O’Mara is a sharp attorney and he’s a fast talker. Being from the south, I thought I had missed something so I wasn’t sure.

GasCanGeorge, I disagree. There were lies, and GZ’s attorney has conceded at least one (big one). If these are admissable at trial (if this case goes to trial – I have a sneaking suspicion GZ’s attorney is working on a plea deal which is why he filed for a new bail hearing but is holding off another week) they could negatively influence the jury’s opinion about GZ’s credibility. The recording of him conspiring with his wife to move the money before the bail hearing, and telling his wife to put the passport in the safe deposit box is very damning. These things mentioned here seem small but if he lied in a court to a judge, there’s likely more mistruths in his other statements. The Prosecutor has already indicated that there are 3 interviews with GZ where GZ contradicts himself. We’ll have to wait and see.

There seems to be a bug in the MyTmobile website. When I log in and look at calls I notice the calls reflect calls made in EDT, while Data information seems to be based on PDT. At the bottom of both pages are statements that the dates/times reflected are in Pacific time. As a reference for the call I used a call from my wife and it reflected EDT (which is where I am), however when I purposely did a large data download it was reflected in Pacific time. Anyone else notice this behavior when they log into their My Tmobile site?
This explains that “Data Information” such as what’s DOWNLOADED <– large files are based on PDT.
Actual telephone calls are reflected in its correct time.

It’s been like that for a while, Josh.
I was told by another T-Mobile person it’s because calls are translated to local time zone of where they’re made because of billing purposes, but data & texts don’t have different prices for peak and off-peak.
I was emphatically trying to figure out why Tmobile does this.. And I still don’t know..
I guess some Tmobile customers have different plans. This probably has something to do with billing? So Tracy Martin is correct, the “phone calls” are shown in EDT, as the doc reflects.

Sorry, JB, but I can’t buy it until and unless there is an official subpoena version not coming from Crump to show that. The tmobile print out states CALLS are in PST/PDT, not DATA. My understanding is if it doesn’t matter what time the call is made then it will all be in PT because that is where they are located. There are many plans with whenever or anytime minutes and unlimited texts so the time zone would not need to be shown as local time. I would think someone with kids on the plan would get the anytime minutes plan. Notice it says text and picture messages are unlimited and whenever time period. These are services that go with all family plans. Even the cheapest has unlimited Tmobile to Tmobile calls, like we see on this doc so they wouldn’t need to be converted to local time by Tmobile. Again, the print out says calls are in PST.
There is physical evidence that supports his defense and witnesses that have nothing to gain either way. I think there are more liars in this case than 2. You may not be interested, but thought I’d share anyway because I don’t recall anyone posting the audio to the full interview of DeeDee, who changed her twitter id to Basketball no love not too long ago. Interesting handle because she told the SA that basket ball doesn’t interest her. I’m sure you’ve seen her picture, standing next to Trayvon in the school halway but I won’t post the link because she is a minor. No she isn’t from out of state. She attends the same school and says she’s known him since kindergarten. If her story is to be believed, I think GZ is covering for his dad or grandpa. Just kidding but she says several times the voice she hears talking to TM is an ol man and says he has a “deep voice”. Hmmm. Does she think anyone over 20 is old? I didn’t at that age. Deep voice? He sounds rather effeminate to me. But, I’ll let it slide because she is young. A few highlights:
She was on the phone with him off and on all day. He was at the store at 6 something. He took cover at the mail area. It was raining off and on so he putt his hood up before he started walking while GZ was watching from the car while on the phone.
“He was a good friend, right?”, “All right”, “He’s a good guy, right?”, “Yea, somim”.
She said the phone should be under her name and says, “I think” when the SA asks her if its a Tmobile account. She isn’t sure?
Said she talked to him before, during and after 7-11. Said he “run from the back”, heard wind, was out of breath, breathing hard, voice got low, “walking back again”. Could tell he was scared. He lost the guy, he ran from the back, then he lost him, started walking again, keep running, ain’t gonna run, right by his father’s house, man following again, behind him. He’s not gonna run, I know he’s out of breath, tired, breathing hard, real hard. It was not raining. Guy is getting real close to him.
“Why are you following me for?” “heard the Ol man, ol man…say what are you doin around here?” I’m calling him, he don’t answer, I could hear Trayv, I could hear somebody bump him. Twice she starts to say
Never heard cries for help, no shot. Tried 2 or 3 times to call him back, and text, no answer. Record doesn’t suport this. “I could still hear a little bit,,,like, get off…get off…I could have heard Trayvon.” …”It is a man because he had a deep voice.” sounded angry because he said it so deep. Could tell he was tired too, the ol man because… he was bre…
TM didn’t text her, she did text him when the phone disconnected, but said she doesn’t have any on her phone. (The phone record doesn’t support that either. The only potential text is at 4:08 pm PST, 7:08 EST. We know that GZ never called dispatch until 7:09 and TM told her at the beginning, while at the mailboxes GZ was on the phone. She said she texted him after the phone went dead after GZ confronted TM. Impossible, nearly 10 min. premature)
She didn’t even know he wasn’t at his home with his mom. TM is funny, a momma boy, a baby, he loves his family, loves ridin bike. Dr. Phil thanks her from the bottom of his heart for coming forward.
She ends her testimony with“I feel guilty…real guilty, I didn’t even know about it. I didn’t even know about it” although words not formed as clearly as I write. The SA tried to lead her into saying she feels guilty because there wasn’t anything she could do about it but it didn’t work real well. The words are on the record now. She also said he would never fight, that’s his problem.

At the bottom of both pages are statements that the dates/times reflected are in Pacific time. As a reference for the call I used a call from my wife and it reflected EDT (which is where I am), however when I purposely did a large data download it was reflected in Pacific time. Anyone else notice this behavior when they log into their My Tmobile site?

Remember the witness statement, who mentions a “neighbor” was outside with GZ & TM. She asked if they needed help. She said all she heard was 911 so she made the call. While she’s on the phone with 911, she could hear a shot.

Okay. As far as WHAT was said in those phone calls, no one knows what was said so I wouldn’t speculate what she heard or what TM said. So I have no comment as far as that but IF this bill is TM’s phone then I believe for a fact that DeeDee was talking to him when GZ gunned him down.

Yes, I think after I make that phone call tomorrow and learn the truth for myself, I’ll know the facts.

YES, I do think that there WERE calls between DeeDee and TM, but we haven’t seen the official call log from TMobile. We’ve only seen Crump/Tracy Martin’s version. Once the call logs are released, I think that the state will be able to show that DeeDee DID talk to TM. HOWEVER….OMara will destroy her on cross examination. Not only was she completely LED by DLR/Crump during the interviews, her story does not jive.
If you listen to her interviews and read her tweets, they are polar opposites. Sad thing about this 15/16 yr old girl, she is being manulipulated by adults who IMHO have nothing on the agenda about her, but of making this into something that it was not and using her as a pawn. By her tweets, she was not torn up over what happened to TM at the time that he died.
Also, if you listen to her interview, the one that DLR clearly helped her threw, when she says she heard TM say why you following me for then she says she heard the old man say what are you doing around her… so she goes on to say in this interview, that she hears someone BUMP TRAYVON THEN SHE HEARS THE GRASS.
OK, IF I am to believe anything of this, IF I AM TO BELIEVE what she says she heard, then it would be TM HITTING GZ, as he is the only one with injuries from an altercation. Not the other way around.

Having no idea as to what GZ stated to police, or what defense he’ll use, its logical to me that TM rushed at GZ if he saw that GZ was carrying a gun or worst if GZ tried to detain him by pulling out a gun. Anything is possible at this point.
GZ could have been mistaken for a gang member too. He’s young enough. He certainly doesn’t look like an authority figure.

The Sanford police were unable to talk to DeeDee b/c TM’s father refused to give them access to the cellphone. Then this state investigator makes this leading, highly suspect interview with her. Yet, the Sanford police are the ones who get criticized.
If Dee Dee is to be believed, then why did she NOT tell anyone about this phone call BEFORE the Crump law firm tracked her down? Trayvon Martin (her friend since childhood) was dead, and she had been talking to him that night when he was confronted, and she told NO ONE!! And she was supposedly so upset that she was hospitalized overnight, and yet her parents didn’I notify LE either? Another thing, how do you we know the phone DeeDee was using belonged to her.

In the doc dump, LE had done forensics on the phone. How does anyone know LE hasn’t talk to her. How do we know she’s not on the witness list?
I have not read one article reporting discord between LE and Mr. Crump or the Martins. I think there’s a whole lot of speculating going on trying to protect Zimmerman.

Time stamp 7:09 is the magic number. GZ is on the phone with 911 till approx; 7:13. I can hear GZ get out of his car as he says TM is on drugs are something. So GZ at no time was afraid for his life. He had a gun to protect himself, so how is chasing down an unarmed kid self-defense, I’ll never know.

Good morning. JB, have you read the official interview closely or at all that I left the link for? If you do, I think you will notice that most of what she says was already established as fact before she was ever brought in to this by Crump and his clients. If you listen objectively you will notice what she is saying doesn’t make sense, according to established timeline. And there is no getting around the fact that Dr Phil was leading her every step of the way, putting words in her mouth. There is no denying here last words in that interview, even though they aren’t as easy to understand as what you or I might say.
I saw that tmobile comment you posted the first time but needed to think about it and do some research, I gave my response yesterday. Did it occur to you that who ever left that comment at tmobile support may have a plan where calls were unlimited or anytime or whenever minutes? Do you think a man with 4 phones he’s paying for isn’t going to get the family plan? I think reading tmobile info is more reliable and enlightening that a customer’s comment about his own bill and plan. The customer didn’t say his read out says all calls are in PST like Martin’s did, right? He was simply noticing that his calls reflect local time while his data reflects PT, likely because his plan charges for minutes. I look forward to what you find out from tmobile but the fact remains, regardless of what time zone, her timing doesn’t fit the established time line. She would have had to have heard that 45 seconds or so of cries for help that loudly came over the 911 call to have been connected to hm for 4 minutes beginning at 7:12 pm. It’s simple math.
Fact, Martin wouldn’t allow LE the password to TM’s phone until Crump gave him the go ahead.

Fact, LE did not find this girl even after getting access to TM’s phone, Crump brought her in long after the fact. I guess until we see the official records, that’s all I have to say about that.

But in the case of Witness 8, Dee Dee, it is private attorney, named as Crump.. They leave the date empty but we know it wasn’t until long after the fact. The interview I gave a link to was conducted on April 2 where all the other interviews were done February and March. The only other non LE we see here is a Private Investigator, interviewing witness 18 who made a non emergency call and gave a written statement on 2/26. This is an interesting doc because it shows where Cory focused to create the murder 2 charge. They didn’t bother with most of the 911 witnesses, interviewed one that called 911 and gave a written statement, interviewed one that didn’t call 911 but gave a written statement that night. Don’t forget they left out the exculpatory evidence in the document they used to get the indictment, the wounds and witness statements that put TM as the aggressor on top. Remember, too, this isn’t sex, missionary style. GZ did not willingly submit to a beating. Also notice that if every word given by Dee Dee is to be believed, she still supports GZ’s version because she testified that TM was the first one she heard speak in this intercourse, “Why you following me for?” Mimi makes a really good point too, she heard grass. She would hear the same thing if Zimmerman took the headphone out of his ear and tucked it in his pocket. Any friction, like mic rubbing across fabric would make a sound she described. Grabbing the mic would make that sound. She didn’t hear the cries for help so my guess is he threw a punch and the phone went flying as he took Zimmerman to the ground and resumed his MM style punches.
For reference, there are 8 witnesses that called 911, 1 witness that called the non emergency 911 line.
JB, reading TM and Dee Dees tweets, facebook or myspace is not gossip. It is their own words, pics and character being displayed. It is no different that GZ’s myspace. Haven’t you referenced that? Gossip is defined as personal in nature, either fact stated in idle conversation or fiction stated as rumor. These tweets are neither private, rumor or idle talk. They are all things these people put out for the world to see and relevant to the facts of a murder charge.
Consider this for a moment. His childhood friend called him a momma’s boy, a baby and said his problem was he wouldn’t fight. But there has been evidence to the contrary and I’ve read it myself. Although I can no longer access his twitter or facebook because his parents took them down, people captured screen shots. They missed his old myspace and overlooked his twitpic account so I was able to see who his top friends were in more than just captured twitter and facebook comments. The dates don’t lie. What I’m seeing is a young man that may have been teased and began to take on a ganster persona over the last couple of years. I don’t doubt he was a good kid with potential but I think his path changed courses during high school. He was publicly putting out a whole different picture than is being presented by his parents. That isn’t gossip and I strongly disagree with you. Did Zimmerman try to erase his public presentation? Anything about Zimmerman that is relevant is also true for Martin if there is more than just the physical evidence of that night to be considered.

He can still be sued civilly. Remember OJ?
And no, if this were a black on black crime or white on white, it would not have made national news. It made news because in a country where the crime rate has skyrocketed due mostly the black crime rate, this is a unique situation. And remember initially no charges were filed against GZ. That within itself was debatable and still is.

Well..lets say that your hunch is right about TM, that he didn’t like to fight as a young kid but put on a Gangsta persona to make himself look tough. Doesn’t that tell you why he would attack GZ? And rightfully so, imo. I do think he had cause to attack a man following him. This is just my personal feelings but that’s what most HS football players would do. Coaches build them up and make them feel invincible so that’s what they’d do, they would attack the aggressor and in my opinion, GZ was being aggressive.
I’m baffled by GZ’s actions, being a grown man, he should have known this could be a bad night for him. I doubt had GZ been in the military he would have behaved this way. My oldest son was in the armed forces for 4 years. He is trained to kill the enemy. I think had GZ been an ex-marine he would have not have taken a chance by following a stranger.
I find it interesting that he did follow him when he admits to 911 that this suspicious guy is in his late teens. I don’t want to attack GZ’s character but he certainly made a bad decision. We don’t know for a fact how many times or for what reasons he was suspended. Agree, he is was a high school student.
It was a private, not public street. Google reminds you of that if you insert any of those addresses and try to get directions on google maps.
So far I’ve seen nothing in the docs that shows GZ followed him a 2nd time or after dispatch told him he didn’t need to follow. For all we know, he was already behind the buildings, TM hiding at the end of the first and when he came out after he thought he lost him, low and behold he was still behind him. For all we know, at that point, he walked toward him and confronted him, which fits with his friend saying that he was the first one to speak. She really didn’t help TM at all, lie or truth.
I don’t see any evidence that he confronted GZ under a guise at all. Where are you getting that from the evidence? Or for that matter, where is the evidence he left his home in the capacity of NW and not planning to go to the store but saw someone on his private street he didn’t recognize? Also if you read in the police doc at bottom of page 36 (page 2 of 13) In the docs released it does show that TM father is giving the information that TM is a high school student with no criminal history, Yet it goes on to say that a local Miami Gardens PD background check revealed one field contact conducted Nov 2011. Then there is blacked out info. Then after the blacked out section, it states that he was suspended for 10 days from his high school in Miami Garden for possession of cannabis. From my understands when he was caught on tape abt the graffitti and had the backpack with jewelry and screwdriver, that PD was not contacted. I may be there, would have to go back and find. But from the Herald article, it talks about his school misbehavior, which Crump has since had sealed. So this leaves me to wonder, if his school trouble was not turned over to LE, what was the Nov 2011 field contact about? It showed up on the Miami Gardens local background check. Could this have been the incident with the bus driver?

To compare the OJ case and this case is like comparing pineapples to a canaloupe. There are laws that depeneding how this case is handled, GZ can utiltimatly not be sued what so ever in Florida. Also from what I understand, and again I may be misunderstanding, but even IF the SYG law was changed as its trying to be, that would not have any affect on GZ, if he chooses the SYG defense. Remember when we were in school, if someone was involved in a fight, they were suspended or expelled. Well, in my parish, when kids get in physical altercations at school, the police are called and they are arrested.

Okay, I’ll explain. Fact,GZ initially called in a suspicious person. Fact, GZ is by all accounts and documentation, the NWC. Fact, GZ has called into 911 3 or 4 times before, to non-emer. 911. What civilian would know to do that? I believe its safe to say, he was acting as a NWC.
If there are no signs indicating that these streets are private, I don’t think that’s much of an assumption to say that the street is public.

Again as I stated above on page 36 (page 2 of 13) it does not state that is why LE were called to TM home in relation to suspension from school for marijuana. The doc listed stated that the background check revealed this “field contact was NOV 2011. TM was currently on suspenion for cannabis. He had already been in Sanford for 7 days according to his father on that page. Florida Laws aren’t the norm with the rest of the country so maybe a civil trial is out of the question. Kind of explains why OJ fled to Florida.. IIRC, in Florida your retirement cannot be touched thru a civil lawsuit.

Remember I’m not on a jury. I know he accosted a LEO in a nightclub. He pled out and got it knocked down so it wasn’t a felony. But I know he did it. He’s not afraid of a fight. And think about it, that fight wasn’t against him, according to the report, he was defendind a friend, so you don’t even have to touch him, he’ll fight you if he doesn’t like what you’re doing.

Are the police considered Judge and Jury? Who are they to make that call? Obviously, someone else thought differently, Angela Corey. Now is Angela Corey making Nice-Nice with the public because it’s an election year? IDK, but whatever the reason, It’s done. GZ was indicted on 2nd deg murder. Zuben, everything I’m opining about has to do with IF the witnesses are collaborating with GZ’s statement. IF GZ said that the boy approached him and asked why are following me. If GZ said he replied “what are you doing here”. I do not know. It’s all speculation on What IF’s.
That’s the point I was trying to make. I couldn’t understand why the conservative blog was going out of their way to dispute what she claims she heard TM say. I, as a civilian not not to call 911 unless it is a true emergency. I thought it was common knowledge. There is a non emergency number listed for all police departments in my phone book. Do you not believe he was in his car driving toward the main entrance planning to go to Target? I checked and it is in that direction. JB, we have statements from LE in discovery and testimony at the bond hearing, plus the indictment. I’ve linked most of that and part of the bond hearing. I haven’t been able to find the whole hearing. That isn’t speculating. They claim Dee Dee’s testimony in their indictment so even that is relevant. I don’t know what conservative site you are referring to. I was addressing comments made here.
JB as you will notice in the witness docs, that 1 witness was near and told TM to stop he was calling 911, yet he did not. Multil state yelling for help and was also heard on 911 tape. FBI report states unable to state who was. Multi witnesses state under oath was person on bottom which was determined to be GZ. IMHO at any time during this confrantation TM could simply have stopped, yet didnt, where as at the time IMHO GZ felt his life was in danger and defended himself.
I am trying to be objective and dont have an emotional connection, like Zuben I am not trying to be argumenitive, but just wonder why the difference in this case? I felt at least from what I read and since I have been here that as Zub put and I agree ” you demanded solid evidence and held to the reasonable doubt standard in the Anthony case.” For whatever reason, you seem to be completely opposite on this case. I do understand our rights to own opinion, and yours and the fact that this is your blog. I just dont understand. I really do miss the quality debates and conversations about the facts, whatever and whichever way they pointed that was had here during the Casey Anthony case.

What IF he had not, we have NO way of knowing what would have happened or that he would still be alive. IMHO. Zimmerman’s past has been brought up? I didn’t know that. All I read was his arrest reports. I’d like to see what his school instructors have to say about him. He comes off as very arrogant to me and he also lied in court when he said to the family, “I thought your son was closer to my age” when he told 911 “he’s in his late teens”. That tells me he’s a liar and can’t get his story straight. That’s all I KNOW about GZ.

Good point. TM is a minor. I only know from what I read in the doc dump. It mentioned on one LE call to TM’s home and that was in relation to TM’s suspension from school for marijuana. If LE would add this in the report, why wouldn’t they add a couple of fights.
Remember when we were in school, if someone was involved in a fight, they were suspended or expelled. Well, in my parish, when kids get in physical altercations at school, the police are called and they are arrested.

In our state, we have what is called Resource Officers at the schools, and lol we arent big time like A LOT of places exp where bad things have happened,. I read and I am gonna see if I can find again, but what I read stated that the BACK entrance had spikes so that you could not come INTO the back entrance from the main road. Only that people coming out of the gate would not run over the spikes. (I have picture in my mind of the types at the old drive in movies, at the exits ok showing my age now lol)

Conversations with several residents, however, suggest that Zimmerman’s calls reflect a wider feeling of concern and distrust in the community. For years, Twin Lakes residents had been on edge—demonstrated by their decision last September to start a neighborhood-watch organization, which was initiated by Zimmerman himself. The burglary of Olivia Bertalan’s home was just one of at least eight reported over the previous 14 months—several of which, neighbors said, involved young black men. On Feb. 26, the odds were stacked against Martin: he was a young black man in a neighborhood that was feeling besieged by crime and blaming it—fairly or not—on people who looked like him….
Olivia Bertalan said it was George Zimmerman’s wife, in fact, who helped her to identify the burglar who stole her laptop. Bertalan didn’t know Zimmerman well, but said he was helpful and “sweet” after the crime, inviting her to call them anytime if she felt afraid or needed anything.
Officers eventually identified the person who burglarized Bertalan’s home as a neighbor. He was arrested but released because, as Bertalan understood it, he was a minor. Both he and the other man were black, according to the police report.
After the crime, Bertalan said, she was afraid to come home and find things missing. She and her husband got a dog, as advised by police.
“There was definitely a sense of fear in the neighborhood after all of this started happening, and it just kept on happening. It wasn’t just a one-time thing. It was every week,” she said. “Our next-door neighbor actually said if someone came into his yard he would shoot him. If someone came into his house he would shoot him. Everyone felt afraid and scared.”

The car was eventually found abandoned. In August a PlayStation and videogames were stolen from another townhome. In September someone vandalized a townhome under construction. In December someone broke into a foreclosed townhome, stopped up a toilet and started the water running. According to a police report, the water flooded the bedroom and caused drywall in the garage to collapse

After the Columbine shooting, our state of LA reacted by installing metal detectors at all entrances of schools and even in some schools, there are police on campus. I know someone who works for a company that charges $4,000 for a background check. They’ll get the information they want. That’s reality.
Another reason I don’t agree with you, when I did go thru the Juvenile system with my son, I can tell you it was shocking to actually see little 9yr olds, shackled and dressed in orange jumpsuits dragging the floor without “one adult” there to support them in anyway.
I sat in court and watched these children sitting in front of the Judge on charges of shoplifting a candy bar or a doughnut from Winn Dixie. These are the throw away kids.
This other mother and I would watch this every time we had to go to court and cry watching them. Her son and my son were about the same age and we would count how many of these kids didn’t have one adult there with them at court. It was a helluva experience and I wouldn’t wish on Jess.

In the autopsy report it says he’s 5’11 and weighs 158 lbs.

I my opinion, shows both sides. I did not know that Brandi Green was a juvenile detention officer in Orlando.
One thing that peaked interest to me, which I had heard Tracy Martin say in the video of the March 26 meeting at Sanford City Commission Meeting. Mr. Martin stated that they did a background check on TM but not on GZ. At the end of this NYT article, I just found it odd that the father even asked if they ran a bg grd ck on TM. Was it because he knew he had gotten in trouble? Just odd to me, I am not sure thats something I would ask but none the less.
Here is snippet I am talking about:

But the rules are NO FIGHTING.
I possibly see now from your comment to me that the possible reason this case, at least my impression this case is possibly more on the side of emotion is because of you dealings with the juv side of it. I have not had that experience. I can very well say that I believe life experiences give us reasons to feel and react as we do about some issues. I am in no way passing judgement on your child. Sometimes things happen and do get blown into awful situations. I also believe that once it gets into the Juv system, its there, just like most anything. There are avenues to get things exspunged. But I will not go there as its out of my relm of knowing. Angry, yes prob so, because I feel as long as you give a child or and adult the liberty of an excuse for a bad behavior, your enabling them. I have another true story for you. About 10 years ago, on a Tuesday morning @ about 10:30am, I took the day off to bring my cat to the Vet. As I was leaving, I saw three young boys, approx. 12, 13, 10 years old. They were walking from the playground towards me. I recognized one of the boys to be the kid across the street. My hubby was still home in bed when I left.
I hadn’t left the house for more than 20 minutes when he frantically called me to tell me that right after I left, he heard some noise coming from one of the back bedroom windows so instead of him going into the room, he decided to go out the back door to face them. lol
Sure enough, he caught those boys trying to shimmy up my daughter’s bedroom window. He screamed at them, so they jumped the fence got the heck out of the yard.
He recognized the one kid as living across the street. Anyway, he called the police and told the officer he knew that kid and didn’t really want to get him in trouble, just scare him.
So the officer goes to the house, brings the boy out to my hubby. The officer lectures the boy, “this man could have killed you! and then called the police, you’re lucky to be alive!…he gave it to him..all about how he’d wound up in prison..yada..yada.” My hubby was satisfied just to see the little punk scared..
Anyway..LOL While the officer is standing there lecturing the 12yo, out rides the 6 year old on a 2 wheel bike. Well, it just so happened that my younger son’s bike was stolen out of the yard, one month earlier. As my husband is watching this little boy making circles in the front yard, he realizes that the bike is newly painted black. He waves the kid over to him and Sure Enough, there was chrome underneath that paint. My husband tells the officer to check it out. He yells at the little boy to tell my husband he’s sorry…Give him back this dang bike! LOL
Moral to the story. We lived there for 5 more years, never having a break in. These kids would wave to us on the street. Did they find a way to get in the system? I don’t know but I didn’t put them in it. Nor did my husband. It’s a big decision to make when you report a child of wrong doing especially after seeing what I’ve seen.

Well, I can tell you from the HS in my town, and those around the Central Ark area, what is called a Resource Officer is at ea HS. Those Resource Officers are local PD officers.
So yes, you can say they do, as they are already there and as I have heard at the ballpark, if a fight breaks out, the officer makes contact with dispatch and other officers are dispatched, better safe that sorry. And I dont know of any parent that doesnt think this is a good idea. Same with ballgames, at the high schools there is ALWAYS A LE PRESENSE.
Sorry, I just guess I will have to agee to disagree but there is no reason what so ever for fighting at school. Evidently I not only one, as I didnt make that rule up. OH and my lil grandson who was in 1st grade this yr. He did the right thing, there are triplets in his grade. 1 is in his class. He brought to school a live bullet and another triplet brought a spent shell. Had out on playground. Jacob told his teacher. The teacher didnt make a big deal, excused herself from class and went to the principal. My dtr was classroom mom, so lil while after this at a class party, one of the parents was making a pissed off comment about someone turning in this lil kid how took to school these items and not intending to harm anyone. It is not known to me if they knew my grandson was 1 of the kids to tell the teacher. True these lil boys in all honestly prob ment no harm, just wanted to show to their friends, but there is a NO TOLERANCE RULE for a reason. I was thinking hell what if the other of the triplet had the gun!
But to b*tch about someone saying something, IMO they should have been thankful. Yes 6 yrs old is def diff than HS but if you teach them that in 1st grade, them maybe it wont be that way in HS.

TEXARKANA, Ark. (KTHV) – Two teens are under arrest for an alleged shooting that injured a boy.
Davontea Smith, 17, and Christian Valentine, 17, both of Texarkana are being charged as adults in the shooting.
Police say the teens were in a car along with other juveniles that drove into the Chapel Ridge Apartments June 1 and started shooting from the vehicle. One of the shots injured an 11-year-old boy.
Smith and Valentine are charged with second degree battery and unlawful discharge of a weapon.
This investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

Anyho JB, GZ responded by calling 911 as he felt threatened and or intimidated. I actually think he downplayed the actual events during that call. My intuition says it probably was worse….
I do have a keen sense when it comes to certain things. And for some reason JB, GZ does not strike me as someone who went out looking for trouble but someone who took his passion to protect his community a little too far perhaps, but not deliberate. If i’m wrong then it isnt the first time….
IF he took the passion to protect a little too far then he still needs to be punished but not for murder, definately not.

I think the Columbine shootings had a lot to do with police patrols at school too. It’s so sad that because of a few, innocence is lost. Those kids in school today live under martial law and don’t even know it.
If I still had a son in school, I would home school them. Now my daughter, I never had to worry about fighting. Girls are different than boys..Generally. But with a boy, I would NOT take the chance of any of my children to have an arrest record. It’s not worth it. They can learn at home.

That’s interesting. They want to reinstate corporal punishment. That sounds like a St. Augustine Catholic school, it’s an all boy school here in New Orleans. The Catholic church wanted to stop the practice but the students wanted to keep corporal punishment. There were rallies and protests because of it. I’m not sure of the outcome though.
I think if a parent signs off on it and gives permission, I see nothing wrong with that. When I was in Catholic school. Sister Catherine would slap your hand with a ruler if you weren’t paying attention. lol.. I was scared to blink.

I hear ya! It was in elementary school for us too..when things started to change. When my youngest was in 2nd grade, they were taking votes for mandatory school uniforms at the public school my son was attending. I voted against it and like GZ, I spoke up at the PTA meeting.
Some parents were saying that some of the poorer kids felt inferior because not all of them could afford Reebok or Nike shoes and nice clothes.
I told the board at the PTA meeting..there’s no better time than in elementary school that kids learn that in REAL life, there will always be people who’ll have more than you and there will always be people who have less than you. If you want to have what other people have, stay in school, study hard and earn a good living. I thought that was so lame. But our little group of 29 parents lost and the next year they had to wear uniforms. I hated it because it doubled my laundry. He’d come home from school and have to change to play clothes.
Till this day, I believe some bigwig on the school board owned a uniform shop. lol
But UNIFORMS were a complete PIA for me.
Soon after that it became martial law ..I swear.

I hear fear in GZ’s voice too and until last night I didn’t realize what I was hearing. It seems like GZ passed TM at the entrance somewhere and then he pulled over and parked. He was out of his truck before he calls 911, but as TM nears him, he retreats to his truck.
At the same time, he’s describing TM down to the button on his shirt. I can’t help but wonder what could have happened right then, while GZ has with 911 on the phone, if he had confronted TM face to face and said, “hi, I live around here, we have a lot of break-ins, do you mind me asking, why are you here?”

By the time the public knew, she was out on $1,000 bond. Although I’m happy the court didn’t let her get away with lying, I wasn’t thrilled to see her photograph released to the public. I hope nothing happens to her.

My brother-in-law who lived in WV shot and killed his self a week ago this last Tuesday.
My husband and I had to leave the next day, since he’s all that’s left in his family.
It was a shock, very draining and very sad time for my self and very sad as you can imagine to my husband and myself. He was more like a brother to me than a brother-in-law.

You don’t think Zimmerman looked suspicious to Trayvon? Anytime you are being followed, that is suspicious. 911 told him the police were on their way, but George decided to play cop.
It would have been better had he been a cop in uniform, at least Trayvon would have known he was authority, not some maniac stranger with a gun, ready to shoot him. You can tell in his voice, he wants to get this kid.
He did and then thought he would get by on Stand Your Ground, when he was arressted, he was so shocked. He thought he had beat the system.
When there is a homocide they always check out the facts. They don’t just go by what the killer said, usually. That in itself is strange. If they let this stand, people ill litterly be getting by with murder.
IF danger awaits me outside of my truck, I call 911, I’m really stupid if I get out,knowing damn well that the police are on their way.

The Zimmerman’s can’t even decide which is which. Zimmerman wasn’t on watch, he was on his was to Target and then decided “trouble” sounded pretty good and thought he would get by with it.

The money being moved isn’t the problem. The problem is..George & Shellie denied knowing about it. Those calls were recorded a couple of days before the April 20th bond hearing.
At the bond hearing, when asked Shellie says she doesn’t know how much money was donated to George’s defense and George didn’t interrupt her or alert O’Mara that he knew. He said nothing.
If you read the document, you’ll see that George and Shellie are talking in code which means they are trying to hide it when they refer to transferring $44.46 to another account when in reality they’re transferring $44,460. Cute huh?
Since they both claim that it was George’s brother Robert who had control of the PayPal account, I don’t know why the prosecutor didn’t ask, “Who knows and can I talk to him?” It could be that de la Rionda was setting them up? Who knows..

Its clear to me who pursued who and if TM did pursue GZ at some point, I think GZ had it coming.
If you act like a crazed stalker, you get what you get.
Its also possible that at some point, TM saw that GZ was carrying a gun and he charged at him to save his life. What else could he do? Run and be shot in the back? He doesn’t know GZ’s intention.
GZ had the opportunity to tell TM who he was and why he was following him but as far as I know, he didn’t. I can’t understand GZ’s logic.. Doesn’t he see that his own actions could be misread?
It’s a shame LE didn’t get GZ’s blood for testing the night of the shooting yet they manage to get blood from the victim and test it. I’d like to know if he was impaired in some way, either by Adderal or booze..something because he wasn’t thinking clearly that night, imo.
I’m beginning to think Sanford PD was afraid of Zim because of his connections and what he did at the townhall meeting. GZ reported to the city counsel that their police officers were lazy. Subsequently the police chief resigned. That’s power..that one person was able to accomplish this.
Now that I know GZ went on a Ride-Along with a Sanford LEO, it tells me he was getting Buddy-Buddy with the department. From my understanding quite a few cops knew him. And I’m sure GZ made it known to everyone in LE that his daddy was a retired judge and once in the CIA. I can just imagine him bragging about it.
This kind of explains why GZ wasn’t initially arrested. They were afraid of him. They knew if they arrested GZ, his daddy would make sure he got a good lawyer. There’s another connection I read about between Robert Zimmerman and another Sanford big wig. I’m working on that for my next article.

I understand what you mean when you say “The system” and I agree. Had Sanford PD sent this case to a Grand jury like they did in Joe Horn’s case in Texas, I don’t think there would have been the public outcry and hence the doctoring of audio tapes and such.
I agree that the media tried to make TM look like a 12yo boy which fanned the flames. There was also proof that ABC enhanced the 911 call to favor the State.

I have to say though, that some people grieve more graciously or logically than others, as we’ve learned through the Anthony case. Emotions aren’t logical though. I bring this up now because Tracy Martin has published a special video through his new org calling for the repeal of all Stand your ground laws, claiming that last year there were 30,000 senseless deaths and if these laws are changed, next year thousands of dads will have their sons. I’m sure only a tiny fraction of those deaths were based on stand your ground. Most senseless deaths are carried out through illegal activity with illegal guns. But still, my heart goes out to TM’s parents.

Apparently the murder rate is up 50% this year in Chicago. Not one of these, that I found, was anything like the TM case. I think TM’s parents have gotten off course. To promote their WHITE agenda in the name of Justice is a travesty. I support them through my compassion for their loss. IIRC 3 children were killed in crossfire in NOLA this year..maybe more, One baby, a 2yo toddler killed on a playground. Two weeks ago, a 5yo little girl was shot while attending a birthday party. Of course, the media followed up with footage of the funeral. I agree, JB. Repealing the SYG law or limiting the right of law abiding citizens to protect themselves will only make those that aren’t respectful of the law and human life, more bold. What I’d like to see him do is encourage fathers to father, to mentor boys that are lacking a father figure, like Zimmerman was doing. So many boys grow up without a father’s daily influence and learn from bad role models. Absence of good parenting is behind a lot of the crime rate, along with poverty and lack of opportunity.

I could very easily get on my soapbox about this. The abundant lack of parenting in our society today and as you mentioned, add poverty and lack of opportunity to the mix could only lead to chaos, thievery and murder.
Parenting isn’t something that has to be perfect and to the book or 24/7. A parent just needs to be there, love their children and teach right from wrong. No one taught parenting to our parents or our grandparents yet for the most part, they didn’t turn out to be murderers and thieves.
I know most of us would like less government in our households. I think that’s the problem. There’s too many irresponsible people bringing children into the world and expect the government to not only feed them but parent them. I’d like to see less government, less excuses and more parental culpability.
That’s why I have to give Tracy a little bit of credit for getting involved and exposing himself to the public. I hope he and his wife will be more careful and avoid further exploitation because I think they are being exploited.
At this point they need to be a little more selective because I don’t think their son’s death falls into every crime category. TM wasn’t a throw away kid, he did have two parents who loved him. Zimmerman came from a seemingly loving family, from a much respected father with little or no government intervention that I know of.
The more I look into this case, I’m beginning to think it was fear that drove both parties to act impulsively. TM, fear of “The Man” ie. law enforcement. GZ, fear of the crime wave that was invading his neighborhood. Both fears were understandable. Sanford PD was known in Trayvon’s community to be unjust and not trustworthy. Sanford PD was known to Zimmerman to be inadequate and lazy.
Whatever becomes of this tragedy, I hope we can all learn something from it.

I just listened to all 6 of “Liar George’s” jailhouse calls. Unbelievable!
In case no one knows where the term “Liar George” came from..It’s from one of my favorite Seinfeild episodes, when George’s girlfriend wants to be part of George’s coffee house group with Elaine, Jerry and Kramer, George Costanza says “Liar George will cease to exist!” LOL.
It fits George Zimmerman so well, I could help but use it.
True he is soft spoken and polite but underneath that facade, I sense a controlling, passive aggressive person. He must have told Shellie how proud he was of her over 10 times. He is only concerned with money, no remorse, not a thought that he killed someone.
The only reference I heard from him which vaguely refers to Trayvon Martin is in the April 17 call, while discussing how he’ll allude the press when he’s released.

The judge was made aware of all of this and that’s why they revoked his bond. As for Shellie, we don’t know what her punishment will be for lying at the bond hearing. All we know so far is she was arrested and paid $1,000 bail.
From the sound of the tape, it seems George’s sister Susie was into transferring GZ’s money too.

Both George’s dad and Shellie testified by phone at the bond hearing and neither of them mentioned money or the amount that was donated which was at least $155,000.
According to the phone call, Shellie paid George’s mother some money too. Now where did she think George got this money? Did she think it feel out of the sky? lol Hellooooo..her son is sitting in jail awaiting bond for Murder 2. Now why would he even think to pay her while he’s in jail?

As far as the so called “gated communities” in Central Florida….They are not monitored by security…they are accessed by codes …which are given out by residents to allow entry of the people the residents choose to let in! Travon was there with his family and had EVERY right to be there. I seriously doubt that all of the residents of that community checked with GZ and registered their guests with him first…nor should they have to! Wow, where do I begin? I don’t care to share any opinion because I know it won’t be accepted well but I must point out some clear misinformation floating around here. Listen to the calls again and the video posted above to confirm what I list is, in fact, truth.
He didn’t only show concern for money for himself, he also asked his wife to shop for the best price on luggage and had her buy bullet proof vests for all of them, O’Mara included. He told her to hold back about 1000 (notice he didn’t say 1, 10 or 100) for his personal use. The rest was being given to Omara. This shows a respect for the gifts that were given. He told her someone shouldn’t be paying for something that is caused by him and wanted them reimbursed. The mother was owed money. Shelly only paid one month installment, the same for her own school expenses. The things she paid off were the kinds of things that nosy, attention seeking employees could track him through, especially credit card personel. Smart move.

Many people are prescribed antidepressants for much less stress than having a bounty on your head for 10,000 and death threats, let alone being put in a position where you have to shoot something.

It was agreed by everyone involved, that the family would not be required to attend the hearing, due to security concerns. The court and SA chose not to get Robert on the phone.

This is my understanding.
Trayvon was taking a walk to the 711 to buy Brandi’s son some snacks, a bag of Skittles and “Watermelon” flavored Arizona tea or drink or whatever it’s called. I read some people are making a big deal out it. The media called it Arizona Iced Tea, it wasn’t. It’s watermelon ..whatever.
I recall reading, his father wasn’t home. I think the younger child was left alone when TM decided to get out of the house for awhile and walk to the corner store. He’s seen at the 711 around 6:35pm. So far there is no evidence that TM committed a crime anytime that day. The younger child is in the fifth grade or something. So maybe LE should charge Brandi with child neglect for leaving a young kid with a teenager.
The bottom line is this. The Martin’s don’t owe anybody an explanation regarding their son. They’re not under oath. They don’t have to tell the truth. The only person who has to tell the truth is Zman. George Zimmerman, Shellie Zimmerman and Robt. Zimmerman Sr. were under oath at the bond hearing.

When asked about the screams for help which were heard on a 911 call, Robert replied, “All of our family, everyone who knows George, knows absolutely that is George screaming. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind.”
As for accounts from Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend, who claimed she was on the phone with Martin right before the altercation, he said, “I don’t believe that happened. I don’t believe she was on the phone with him, and I find it very strange with the publicity involved… that all of a sudden, after three weeks, someone would remember that they were on the phone.”
Zimmerman said he had faith in the FBI and others investigating the case and that the truth will come out.
Robert Zimmerman, a former magistrate judge and Vietnam War veteran, said he has never had to deal with anything of this magnitude.
“Unimaginable,” he said. “Tough was being in Vietnam and other things. This is way beyond anything I can imagine.”
He believes his son will be cleared of any wrongdoing, but has a message to all the critics out there.

Ok, one more comment and then I’m done. The fact is, if the discovery statements and 911 calls are to be believed and accepted as fact, there are witnesses, one witness in particular that saw Zimmerman being beat by Martin. There is solid evidence of being physically beaten that substantiate what that witness saw. There is evidence on Martin’s left hand that, if it is was a fresh wound, supports being on the offence, not defense. There is no doubt that Martin had more than enough time to run his little butt home but he ended up beating Zimmerman just a few yards from where his truck was parked. He had to have been waiting for him behind one of the white privacy walls at the sliding glass doors. He had to have waited until Zimmerman hung up the phone but also had to have approached him right after because if you add up the amount of time you hear cries for help and what followed, there is only a minute or so, maybe two, which would have been filled with the verbal confrontation that was heard by witnesses. It is quite a stretch to assume that a tall 17 year old that took off running woudln’t have made it down that sidewalk quite a ways and maybe all the way to the other end where he was staying in the time it took Zimmerman to get out of his truck and go look behind the homes to see where he went to. But, he wasn’t at home. He was at the other end of the sidewalk. A 90 year old man would have gotten further than that.

I hate being the type who has an answer for everything but what I said about the Martin family is true. None of their statements have been made under oath. They are just stating their case to the press and we all know what the media will do with that so I don’t understand why people put so much stock into what they say.
I’m focusing on what Robert Sr said at the bond hearing. He worked for the Pentagon for Nat’l defense. He’s a ex-judge. Now how can he sit there like a potted plant and pretend his wife didn’t recently receive money from Shellie and George is beyond my comprehension.
Am to believe Robt. Sr didn’t know about Peter Pan and what his son was up to? So yes, I think Robt. Sr should have been honest and spoken up at the bond hearing.
So my point is ..How do we expect full disclosure and honestly from the Martins and not from the high and mighty Zimmermans? I think this covert operation paints a very dishonest picture of their entire family.
When push comes to shove, it’s going to be George Zimmerman’s word that will matter. I’m willing to give him the benefit of doubt until I read his statements. They should be released in a week or so. But I’m sure the outcome of this case will hinge on credibility and right now Zman doesn’t have any. imo.

Zman was prescribed Adderal before he shot Trayvon Martin. He was prescribed Restoril before he shot Trayvon Martin. Its contraindicated for Restoril to be prescribed for more than 10 days.
I also think I heard Zman mention pain pills. I want to find a transcript to be sure, but I’m beginning to think Zman has a problem with pharmaceuticals. He has to be hopped up on something to behave the way he does.
When Taafe informed JVM that GZ walked the complex with a 100lb Rottweiller and a Kel-Tec 9mm handgun tells me he’s being overly obsessive about his job as NWC. Zman should have taken a few courses in being Neighborhood Watch Captain instead of taking a few courses in criminal law and filling his silly head on how he would abuse the SYG law because that’s exactly what he planned to do.

You’re right, they didn’t arrest Zman for perjury. There’s no law that says you can’t sit in court like a potted plant. Those are Judge Lester’s words. Judge Lester, IMO was being lenient on O’Mara. He actually gave O’Mara the benefit of doubt in the passport issue.
Another thing, I don’t know if people realize just how long 100 yards are. Imagine a football field. I’ve seen in several football games when a player runs the entire field at full speed they are winded and tired.
100 yards is a lot so I don’t think that a young man, just barely 17 years old would run simply because another man was following. Now he may have ran if he knew this person was packing a handgun.
I would expect a 28yo man who’s son of a judge, who’s educated and worldly that he would have enough sense to heed to the 911 dispatcher to meet the LEO’s at the mail boxes and not get out of his vehicle again.
Just as he did in the past, he disrespects the law and he’s now a liar and possibly a theif. We’ll see what IRS plans to do when all of this is over.

Even though a dispatcher told George Zimmerman not to follow Martin, his father said his son continued his pursuit to locate an address to give to police.
If the suspicious person retreats in an apartment with an address, maybe it’s because he lives there? IDK…Is it just me? lol And why doesn’t The Neighborhood Watch Captain know the names of the streets? Didn’t GZ live one street away? I think GZ is telling a little lie here. He knows he was still in hunt mode, looking for the bad guy.

Ahh..that’s not the way I see it. He didn’t say he Fed Exed to the judge did he? He said he received “Something” by FedEx but no one really knows what was in the package. So I think Judge Lester gave him the benefit of doubt. I can tell O’Mara gets a lot of respect by the courts which is cool but I’m not convinced.
Withholding a passport from a Judge is a huge oversight on O’Mara’s part when you have a client who’s out on bail.

Put all of your fantasies out of your mind and literally put yourselves in George Zimmermans’ shoes on that rainy Florida night. A 26 year old leaving his home to go to Target, he carries a gun, because the police told him that if a dog attacks him that he needed to shoot it rather than tackling it. He is a student and newly married and has taken on the responsibility of ‘watching’ out for his neighbors.- A fact that most people are unaware of is that most burglaries advance to assault and death of the homeowner by the perpetrator. His neighbors’ homes have been broken into numerous times and have left the elderly ones anxious. As he drives to leave his neighborhood he notices someone not acting quite right so he pulls over to the curb and calls 911. While he is on the phone with dispatch he answers their questions and keeps his eyes on the suspect. He got out of his vehicle when the dispatcher said ‘where is he now’ and he had lost sight of the suspect. To me that is a perfectly responsible act – he called 911, the dispatcher asked ‘where is he now’ so he got out to see. When dispatch realized that he was looking for the suspect for them, is when dispatch told him- you don’t need to do that – so he retreated, but; because dispatch also asked him what the address was, he started looking for an address – he was being a responsible citizen by fully cooperating with law enforcement. In the brief moments of Mr. Zimmerman going back to his vehicle, a 17 year old male confronts him – this male tackled him; punched him in the nose and banged his head against the ground- there are some people that say- why didn’t George say ‘I’m the neighborhood watch person – my name is George Zimmerman my address is xxxx. I can tell you for certainty that YOU DO NOT GIVE YOUR IDENTITY out to anyone that is SUSPICIOUS!!! Has anyone ever heard of police scanners – are you aware that when you call 911 or the ambulance that anyone with a ‘scanner’ gets your personal information – a lot of people have them including ‘perpetrators’. IMO George was being cautious and again RESPONSIBLE. Now can anyone on here honestly say for fact that you would not use anything to save your life, even a gun, if you were being beaten and in fear of your life? I’m sure that Mr. Zimmerman did not want to kill 17 year old Mr. Martin – he just had no choice. The ONLY reason that this case has gone so wrong is because Mr. Martins’ family hired a civil rights attorney who got ‘politics’ involved. Another ‘little fact’ that most people are unaware of is that the President of the USA, [all of them]; have whatever they are going to say, ‘scripted’ long before they speak. THIS IS A FACT!!! President Obama should have never made that statement; because that one ‘little’ statement’ has led to the ‘injustice’ of Mr. Zimmerman and his family. If you’re the neighborhood watchman, you are happy to tell who you are and what you are doing, otherwise you are really suspicious.
Didn’t the neighborhood ask him to do this? Did they not know that he lived in their neighborhood,
his name and address. He didn’t have to say his address and phone number to Trayvon, but a simple I am the neighborhood watchman, my name is George Zimerman and yours?
Because I like to meet them and introduce myself.

Agreed, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to touch this case either because of the political and racial overtones. Maybe I should have taken to blogging elsewhere..oh well. lol
Anyway.. I want to respond to a couple of things you mentioned. I understand Zman’s intentions were good. I understand he was being pro-active in his community but there’s a difference in being NWC and being a LEO.
If a LEO would spot a suspicious man he would approach the person and ask him why was he walking in this area. The difference is the LEO is in uniform. The person knows why he’s following him. That’s very important to this case.
Put yourself in TM’s shoes. He’s walking home on a rainy night and a stranger is aggressively following him. He saw the guy pass him up, stop, get out of his vehicle and is now waiting for him as he walks towards him. Being a woman, I’d think this guy was a rapist or kidnapper. But this is a 17yo boy, testosterone flowing thru his veins, he will not show fear.
You mentioned Zman doesn’t want to give out his information because its dangerous, isn’t it dangerous for TM to give his information to a stranger?
I can’t dehumanize TM and assume he doesn’t have concerns too.
It’s hard to be sure how both TM and Zman met up the final time so I won’t go into that too much but lets say you’re right. TM ran around the building and snuck up on Zman. Does that sound like the wrong thing to do?
Zman was reluctant to give his home address to the 911 operator. Remember he said something like “I don’t want to give out too much, I don’t know where this kid is”? TM may have started off running to his apt, but thought like Zman. He doesn’t want this stranger who’s aggressively following him to know where he lives. There’s a 9 or 10yo boy at the apt. So he bravely approaches the Aggressor and asks him “why are you following me”?
Zman’s statements haven’t been released yet so I don’t know how he responded, but I doubt he told TM “I’m the NWC” If he doesn’t say that then he was wrong and whatever happened to him was understandable. If it’s Zman who’s screaming help, I’d like to know why he wasn’t screaming, “stop!! I’m the Neighhood watch captain!! stop, please, I don’t want to hurt you” He should be screaming that. Maybe then TM would have understood that all it’s all a misunderstanding? Because really that’s all it was.. One BIG MISUNDERSTANDING! And the only reason it ended in a death is because Zman was packing a handgun.
I think if TM would not have died, he may have been arrested for attacking Zman but I’m almost positive that once he explained to the judge why he attacked Zman, he would have been acquitted.
BTW, I’m not begrudging Zman because he’s getting support. Nor am I begrudging the Martins for getting support but I find that making it a contest is silly because in the big picture, popular opinion means nothing. See Anthony trial. lol

If George Zimmerman would have stayed in in truck at the maiboxes, why would he have to see an address?
Was he looking for Trayvon’s address? Maybe if he had answered Trayvon instead of saying what are you doing here,Trayvon would have given him the answers he NEEDED so badly.
However when someone has been following me first in the truck then on foot, I would certainly be aware of him asking my address.
Remember to Tayvon, Zimmerman was someone suspicious.

I agree with you. I see strange guys walking down the street near my home all of the time at 7pm. I don’t live in the woods, so surely they may have a reason for being there. Zman lives in a gated community, I understand but there’s over 100 apts. in that area.
This person that Zman honed in on could have been a resident whose car broke down and he’s walking home. Sure if you’re suspicious of him because of the recent break-ins, you see him, you’re a man with a gun for protection, why not roll the window down and ask “can I help with something, are you lost?” Any kind of dialogue would have solved the mystery.
Trayvon may have said, “I’m visiting my dad, he lives here”. Okay. If this guy was a burglar, he’s probably thinking this guy will be able to identify me, I better not rob anybody tonight.
Trayvon would have walked straight home, not slip into the center walkway. Zman could have followed him all the way and waved at him when he opened the apt. door.
The only thing that makes Zman guilty of murder in this misunderstanding is this. He got out of his vehicle and attempted follow him on foot when he was told not too. When he lost site of TM, he’s so gungho to catch this guy, he forgets what the dispatcher said to him.
We know what he’s thinking because he says “these a$$&@%$#^’s always get away”. He wasn’t going to let what happened to him on February 2nd happen again. No way!
I think he was trying to impress Mr. Frank Taafe and wound up feeling foolish. I think Taafe had a lot to do with Zman’s “Machismo”.

I think when they are having a big hunt with volunteers, this does apply too because
what background they have, like those with Tim Miller etc.
IMO, they all need a backgroud check and a psychological evaluation.

Yet, Tutko believes that if Zimmerman had tried to join or start a registered group, he would have been stopped. The fact that Zimmerman was known to have made over 40 calls to police to report suspicious activities in recent months would have raised suspicions of him. “If the police were called that many times, you look at what the end game was,” he said. “Was there anything found? If nothing was found, that person needs to be counseled, or reeducated, or otherwise told you are not going to be allowed on the Neighborhood Watch.”

Excellent article! Just what we wanted to know. I had a gut feeling that Zman wasn’t Neighborhood watch material. Did you read the part that said, had Zman been trained properly TM would NOT be considered a suspicious person because the neighborhood was middle class and mixed race.
I didn’t realize that until I saw videos of the neighbors and that’s what I thought about too. This is a mixed neighborhood so it’s very likely Trayvon was either a resident or a visitor.

I am appalled that people are criticizing the Martin’s…they have done absolutely NOTHING to deserve any of it. They are looking for justice for the “MURDER” of their son! To ASSume they weren’t worried about Trayvon when he didn’t return home is also appalling. They have reached out to groups for help because the death of their son was being swept under the rug by the authorities! I would have done the same thing…I applaud them!

Trayvon didn’t have a gun or a knife on him. To put the blame and ugliness on his parents
is pathetic to say the least.
If Zimmerman would have stayed in his car/truck, this wouldn’t have happened. The police were right there after he shot him.
Trayvon had every right to think this was just another person (which he was) and needed to try and defend himself as best that he could.
Trayvon saved his dad’s life when he was 9, he had a full life with goals in mind cut short by a stubborn man, who will do what he wants to do.
If e had not had that gun, he wouldn’t have been so cocky as to go ahead and jump out of his truck and pursue Trayvon.

Taaffe has one misdemeanor battery charge in Orange county that went to trail with a not guilty plea and on the day of trial the prosecution filed NOLLE PROSEQUI. That means not willing to pursue. They are pursuing the murder 2 charge because they were threatened with racial wars.
George Zimmerman passed the lie detector and voice stress test. He was asked why, after finishing his associates degree in criminal justice then going on to complete his bachelors, he changed his coarse from wanting to be a cop to a judge. He said it was because he had a cousin in prison and had been mentoring a child. He really wanted to make a difference and after what he learned and experience with his cousin and that boy, he knew he could make a bigger and better difference for children, not by being a cop, but by being a judge. He didn’t elaborate as to why he thought that but after hearing Serino lying through his teeth, telling him that Martin’s phone likely had a video of the whole thing so he’d better change his story, if the video would contradict him, after what we saw with the Anthony case, I suspect he realized that he’d have to lower himself to trying to entrap and trick people into getting a confession and conviction. That would not help children.

I have 3 people in my family who are AD-HD. My aunt who is now in her 60s was diagnosed 4 years ago and she’s relieve to now understand what was wrong with her and why she made certain bad decisions in her life. Not horribly bad decisions but how she was impulsive and couldn’t concentrate when people would talk her. I see that in Zman. He focuses on one thing and he’s unable to change a direction of thought in an instant like you or I would. I think that’s what happened to him that night. Lets not forget the most anyone in the initial investigation wanted to charge him with is manslaughter but even that may not be supported with the evidence. Lets also remember he isn’t charged with manslaughter, he is charged with murder 2, which carries a life sentence and requires intent to murder, a depraved mind.
You can’t say that someone murders someone due to the influence of drugs they are taking then turn around and imply they murder because they have a diagnosed medical condition. Even if the medical condition includes the tendency to act impulsively and not have a good memory for certain kinds of details you can’t assume these tendencies were the cause of a murder and certainly not if the right medication was prescribed and being taken as ordered. Being impulsive may have caused him to get out of his truck to look for an address and see where he went but that doesn’t equate to premeditated murder. If the meds work those symptoms should not dominate. Someone should not be criticized because they are prescribed meds or assume they cause him to murder someone. These were reasonable prescriptions. Not everyone has the side affects mentioned here and if they do they stop or change the Rx. To not consider this is to be like the Anthony haters that don’t want to hear the truth or include all the reasonable considerations before forming an opinion.

Opinion; Now, my opinion about that whole deal is that they knew neither of them had any assets other than what was given to them as taxable charitable donations and that amount only added up to enough to cover their expenses to the point they could go into hiding and cover a reasonable bond, which it looks like his attorney told him would be about 100,000 to 150,000. I have a feeling there was no intent to lie about the amount they had available because they had it all designated to current obligations and I’m not ever sure they had any set aside to pay O’Mara anything at that point in time. They needed to have enough to pay rent for the whole family plus covering their tracks so they wouldn’t be found. That required paying of what credit card debt they could so that some attention seeking employee couldn’t expose their location. Look what they’ve done to CA. They surely watch the news and know that.
Fact; Loly, you have the absolute right to your opinion. You do not have a right to ignore facts that have been released and substantiated when forming those opinions. It is established by the discovery released, if DeeDee is to be believed, that TM confronted GZ. It doesn’t even matter that what she says TM said is different that what GZ recalls him saying. Trayvon Martin confronted George Zimmerman Before that point they were just looking at each other. Well, if TM was circling his truck while looking at him, that may have been confrontational too. (This sentence is opinion, not fact.) I know it would feel like that to me.
Fact; if the evidence supports self defense and stand your ground, they not only are not allowed by law to arrest, the person is immune from prosecution and suing in civil court. You may not like the law but that the law. The only reason they could arrest him after racial riots, bounties and threats to certain political careers is because they decided to ignore some of the facts and lack of evidence which was admitted to by the prosecution’s investigator at the bond hearing, and charge him with murder. The state violated the law when they arrested him while admitting they had nothing to dispute self defense. It is not a reasonable opinion that someone should be arrested if there is no reasonable evidence to support the charge. The prosecutor is charged with making a judgment call based on the evidence. They didn’t see the evidence so they didn’t arrest him. They still don’t have any new evidence but they charged him anyway.
Opinion that seems to be supported by fact: This is a malicious, self serving prosecution.
Fact; Tracy Martin has given two different times he last saw his son that should have been on lock down due to being locked out of school. He couldn’t have seen him since the afternoon. TM had been in that neighborhood for a week and should know his way home unless he also has untreated ADD or some other condition.
Fact; it would take a 6′ fit football player approximately 15 seconds to run 150 yards or so from where GZ was parked to his dad’s girlfriend’s home.
There are other things presented here as fact that aren’t supported by the discovery that has been released and public statmements made thus far but, you get the idea.
I have enjoyed my time here in the past and its been a good place to share the facts with a reasonable and intelligent, justice seeking group. I see us off coarse now, what little bit of us are left. I don’t have a problem with an opinion with not liking the guy or that it could have been prevented. I’m sure he knows that if he didn’t get out of his truck, it may not have happened. But, that doesn’t change the facts and the dispatcher was asking where he was at that time, which supports the reasonableness of him going to find an address and while he is at it, seeing where TM went, if he could. The fact still remains TM had more than enough time to run home but he didn’t, he confronted GZ asking him if he had a problem or why he was following him.

Although I adore Cheney Mason, I do not agree that there should not have been an arrest. I agree with Serino, he should have been arrested for manslaughter. As everyone knows, I’ve said all along Murder 2 was overkill and we all know that a jury could come back and find Zman guilty of a lesser charge if that’s what the evidence dictates.
If in a court of law, he’s found not guilty then so be it but for him not to face a jury at all is an injustice to all of us.
I think Zman’s reenactment was average at best. His explanation of getting on top of the man he just shot is very hard to believe.

Zuben, I suggested that Zman’s struggle with ADHD was more or less a reason for his unreasonable behavior. And yes, I did say “unreasonable” it’s not a fact but it’s my opinion.
Here’s what I find unreasonable for a normal person.
1.) He starts off leaving his apt. to go to the grocery. He sees a suspicious guy and calls 911 to report it. He’s trying to watch the guy so he can point him out to LE. <– So far so good? As he's describing this guy to dispatch, at some point he claims TM circled his truck.
Doesn’t that sound scary to you, that a strange, “hopped up on drugs” guy is circling your truck on a dark rainy night while your on the phone with 911?
Hey, sure Zim wants to be pro-active and help stop crime in his neighborhood but not even a seasoned police officer would get out of his vehicle without back-up under these circumstances. Maybe the fact that he’s been diagnosed with ADHD had affected his judgment? <–Trying understand why someone would be so foolish.

I was referring to a different report, not Serino’s. In an expert report, it read the gun range between 0.5 and 1 meter. If I have time later today, I’ll gladly post it.
Referring to TM’s shirt, it doesn’t indicate that he was shot at point blank range meaning the barrel of the gun touched TM’s chest as I would imagine in a wrestling match. To explain this Zim says he shot from the hip.

Since the report says up to 1 meter then that COULD mean both men were standing when TM was shot and TM dropped falling face down with his arms underneath his body. So no, it’s not a fact YET. In ballistic testing at trial, we’ll know EXACTLY how close Zim was to his victim and forensics will prove IF his story is viable.

I disagree with you Zuben. That is not a fact. That’s your opinion and it absolutely has nothing to do with his death. He wasn’t shot because he was grounded by his parents for getting suspended from school and snuck out to buy candy and drink.
According to Zim, he was shot because TM punched him in the face.
Here’s where facts get confused with statements. Am I to believe it true just because Zimmerman said so?

JB, it is a fact that Tracy Martin gave two different times. I heard and read it straight from the horses mouth. That is a figure of speach, by the way, not meant to dehumanize anyone. It is also a fact that he couldn’t have seen him since afternoon. I apologize for not marking the part of that paragraph that was my opinion. That’s really all I have to say, other than I never dehumanized anyone in this case or probaly anywhere else, to my knowledge. I sometimes use initials for Trayvon Martin’s name but sometimes even take the time to type it out and have never said anything that could be considered as seeing him as less than human, or his family. In fact, I believe it is just the opposite. I’ve never called him a thug, a liar or anything else that would demean or dehumanize him. That is uncalled for.

I want to assure you, had I not come across this case one month after the fact or had I not learned about it through the avalanche of racially charged media, I would have the same opinion.
I would still want justice for Trayvon Martin. Just as strongly as you feel George Zimmerman was justified in killing Trayvon, I feel strongly it was avoidable.
I feel he had ample opportunity to explain why he was following him.

After learning more about Zimmerman, his past record of disrespecting LE on 2 occasions. His perjury in the bond hearing. His struggle with ADHD.
After hearing the 911 call and he says ..these (expletive) always get away..and I’m sorry if you don’t hear it but I do, in the 911 call, I hear him say under his breath..(expletive) coons at the 2:22 mark. These are just a few facts that I base my opinion of Zimmerman as a person.
I’m also convinced had George Zimmerman’s wife not witnessed a perp fleeing a robbery and had this gated community not been under seige with several burglaries and break-ins, he would not have been so emotionally vested. I think that played a huge part in his bad judgment.
True, I don’t like George Zimmerman’s personality. I don’t necessarily like Trayvon Martin either but what’s right is right.
This is a police officer’s nightmare. If an undercover LE cop (not in uniform) blatantly followed and harassed an unknowing, innocent person and this person out of fear, attacked him, punched him in the face, banged his head on the pavement, who do you think would be at fault?
Would you blame the innocent person for attacking the out of uniform cop? Or would you expect the out of uniform cop to immediately explain why he was following him at the onset?
These are the questions the jurors will have to answer. If I were a juror, I would hold the knowledgable, trained, out of uniform cop responsible to inform the innocent person why he was pursuing him.
With the facts that I have now, I wouldn’t indict the cop on Murder 2. I would indict on manslaughter.
I want to add…
Maybe I am helping the defense by questioning everything Zimmerman says. Maybe it’ll help them to know what needs to be explained for an acquittal??

I disagree with him, however.
Have you noticed there are a lot of defense lawyers backing O’mara and Zimmerman where
none were backing Baez and Casey Anthony, Caylee Anthony’s Mom?
It’s very hard to believe only the person that is alive, especially
after hearing the 911 calls.
He has changed his story many times, so I would say he is a liar.
As far as Shellie, her lying was about the bond, so it mattered what she said about their finances
to the judge. She wasn’t there to witness Trayvon’s murder but she sure did lie about what the judge was talking about and that wasn’t the murder
She may have brought other clothes for him. He did say that there was blood all over him, but if so it wasn’t the ones he had on in the police station. So if she was wrong in doing that IFshe did I don’t know.
Also, it wouldn’t take very long to see what is said about Trayvon on here.

I think JB is very courageous in putting this story out there. Yes, it may be controversial
but so was the Casey Anthony’s case.

This information could possibly tell a different chain of events. Perhaps Tray ran up on Zim and pushed him down and ran. Zim is screaming for help. There’s 2 sets of screams. The first is Zim screaming, the 2nd one is Tray screaming when Zim is chasing him with a gun. Gets within a meter of Tray and shoots. Tray falls to the ground onto his stomach, both arms underneath his body. Zim is then seen standing over him.

I remember trying so hard to find a place that was like your’s during the Casey Anthony trial. It was August when I found it, but I was sure thankful to find some place where there was communication, not hate.
Just because there are a few disagreements here, in no way makes your place a hate blog.
Be proud of yourself and what you’ve done.
Believe me I know what hate places are like. That’s when I gave up, there wasn’t any communication anywhere else.
When I found your blog it made so much sense . At times I know there is disagreement, but
there is dialog, converstion and you had so many topics that made it even more interesting.

I’m happy you feel that way. I thought I was on another planet., AGAIN. The same way I felt when I posted my thoughts on the Anthony case but that’s okay, I’ve been here before.
If I’m really really wrong about GZ and everything I said about him is proven to be a lie, I’ll admit it.
I have no problem being wrong, I’ve been wrong before but I can’t say that for others.
I made a call regarding GZ’s integrity at the onset and I was right, see revoked bond, see wife’s arrest. No one came back to say they were wrong.
I watched the 711 video. That’s not conclusive. That doesn’t tell me he’s a thug. It’s rough on kids today, especially those who live in bad neighborhoods. They have to look a certain way to fit in or they’ll be bullied. Those guys looked scary, but did they commit a crime? No.
I read the Dee Dee phone report. I pointed out that Pacific time is for Downloaded apps and such, not phone calls. No one admitted that was right.
So when all else fails, my integrity is attacked by comparing me to a Casey hater. That’s sounds emotionally charged to me.
So I’m just going to continue doing what I do, being true to myself. If I’m laughed at and ridiculed, so be it.

I don’t know! I’ve always heard don’t take the law into your own hands,
Horn and Zimerman did.
It wasn’t like the law wasn’t on the way in both cases. I prefer to let them do it.
As to murder 2, I don’t know too much about the different charges, BUT this really sticks out in my mind. Murder 2 in not life in prison or the death penalty. I remember that they didn’t throw that into the last for Casey Anthont, knowing that it was hard to prove it, first of all and then hard to get 1st degree murder so If I remember right, I was thinking that they had to throw 2nd degree murder hoping that they would get that, even though I felt after listening to it that she was not guilty of any.
Maybe that’s what Serino thought thought that night, that he felt he should be arressted and charged with manslaughter. Even though I know that they weren’t supposed to go by feelings, he was probably right in that call.
We don’t know if it will even go to trial yet, do we or is it next year for sure.
In my mind he will probably get manslaughter or even probation.
We don’t know what will come out in trial and what the jury will do.
We know whatever the jury decides, that they have done their jobs, andccept it.
Not like in the Casey Anthony trial.

I totally agree with you. I’m not thrilled when people take the law into their own hands either. It sounds dangerous and someone who is innocent could be harmed or killed.
I think Serino was on the right track. Its a shame no one listened to him.
I think GZ will get manslaughter too. At least I hope so.
