July 7, 2011, 2 days after Casey Anthony was acquitted, Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch put the word out to the public. Should he or should he not file a lawsuit against Casey Anthony or her attorney Jose Baez? He claims he spent over $100,000 searching for Casey’s 2 ½ year old daughter, Caylee Marie. Perhaps he’s claiming this because Casey Anthony or Jose Baez asked for his help.
Where are the records of this phone call? Where is the documentation, a letter, an email? I’ve searched the documents released and haven’t found one correspondence between Casey Anthony and Tim Miller.
Did Jose Baez contact him? He hasn’t mentioned a call or an email on this matter. The only thing that Jose Baez asked Tim Miller was for access to TES records to see which searchers searched where.
This information was very important to Jose Baez because the remains of the victim were found in an area where Tim Miller searched. Even if it wasn’t the exact location, her remains were in very close proximity to where his searchers had looked but Tim Miller quickly lawyered up and those records remained sealed for over a year and are partially sealed today. Baez was only allowed to view the records. For whatever reason, we, the public may never know just how close Tim and his searchers were to Area A, the location where Caylee’s remains were officially found on December 11, 2008.
Tim Miller, founder of a non-profit organization Texas EquuSearch was deterred by high water while searching this area of Suburban Drive as he searched in early August of 2008, a week or so later, he left Orlando after losing a 4 wheeler while attempting to search the Wooded Area which is 14 houses away from the suspect. He didn’t return until August 30th when he set up base at a local Holiday Inn.
Thanks to the Sunshine Laws and Orlando local media, it’s public knowledge that it was Casey’s mother Cindy Anthony who called Tim Miller, asking for his help. And she wanted Tim Miller to look for a live missing Caylee, not a deceased toddler. Apparently Tim Miller paid no attention to Cindy nor to Casey’s farewell to him because he in all of his searches for Caylee, never searched for a live missing child.
After the shocking verdict was read on July 5, 2011, while on CNN, Tim Miller addressed the public. He was seeking public approval because he knew the staunch opinators would not be pleased with anyone who profitted off of Caylee Anthony’s death. So he took it to a vote. Should he sue Casey Anthony?

On July 12, 2011, Only days before her release from jail, Casey Anthony got the news. Tim Miller had filed a civil lawsuit against her for $112,000, the cost for his search team. Tim Miller claims it was Casey’s lies that cost him this money.
He claims that when he was leaving the Anthony home, Casey said to him, “Well thanks for being here, I know she’s alive out there somewhere… So please bring her back.”
This was the typical mantra for Casey at the time and more importantly, those words did not change Tim Miller’s type of search. When he came back a couple of weeks later, he continued searching for a body and not a live child. That’s why he took on board, 4,000 searchers, to search for remains.
During this time frame there was Tropical Storm Fay threatening Florida, entering the Gulf of Mexico.
During seven days in Florida, August 18–24, 2008, eleven people died and thousands of homes plus roads were damaged, from 60 mph (97 km/h) winds and rain waters up to 5 feet (1.5 m) deep,
August 19, TS Fay was in EVERGLADES CITY, Florida.
The Civil Lawsuit
Tim Miller refuses to cooperate with Casey Anthony. On December 20, 2011 well after making his decision, he IS suing Casey Anthony, yet he doesn’t show up in Orlando for his deposition because he whined, “Casey didn’t answer his questions.”
Casey Anthony’s attorney had this to say about Tim Miller.
“From my perspective, if you’re suing, who should have to answer questions first?” Anthony attorney Charles Greene asked WKMG-Channel 6. “The defendant or the person claiming they have some sort of legitimate case?”
The above mentioned matter has been recently resolved and Judge Munyon has decided Casey will answer two questions from a list of 15.
• Admit that you did not observe or hear George Anthony call 911 at any time to report that he or you had discovered that Caylee Marie Anthony had drowned in the swimming poll at your parents’ house on or about June 16, 2008.
• Admit that you were aware in September 2008 and October 2008 that EquuSearch was conducting searches for your daughter, Caylee.
Subsequently, Casey Anthony has denied both statements. Hopefully this will compel Tim Miller to follow through with his promise and answer questions posed to him by Anthony’s attorney Charles Greene.
As for $112,000, remember, Texas Equusearch acted as an agent of the State or Florida during the course of its business in Florida, receiving payment, equipment, support, and directions from Florida law enforcement agencies. There was also a time when Tim Miller was being considered as a material witness for the defense.

On August 11th, 12th and 13th,2008, Orange County law enforcement responded to calls from Roy Kronk, a county employee who claimed to have seen a suspicious bag in the Wooded Area. An Orange County Deputy Sheriff searched the spot and found nothing suspicious.
On August 18, 2008, an Orange County Deputy Sheriff responded to a call from one Keith Williams, who claimed to have found possible evidence in the Wooded Area. No body or remains were found.
On August 30, 2008, Texas EquuSearch (“TES”), a Texas 501© (3) corporation, arrived in Orlando from its headquarters in Dickinson, TX, to search for the missing child. TES set up its base of operations at the Holiday Inn at 5750 T.G. Blvd, Orlando,FL. Personnel from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division (“CID”) were present at the command center.
On August 31, 2008, TES and OCSO began their search for the missing child Caylee Marie Anthony. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Critical Incident Management Team (“CIMT”) evaluated the organization of the TES search effort and supplied the searchers with bottled water. Id. On October 14, 2008, Miss Anthony was indicted in the present case and taken into custody.

The State has since identified the remains as those of the child Caylee Marie Anthony.

I don’t dislike Tim Miller. I think his initial intentions were honorable but instead of him being mad at himself for not finding Caylee, I’d rather know that he’s pondering this and realizing that maybe, just maybe, her remains were not in that area when he searched. Morning all. I’m sorry, JB. The way I wrote the comment may have led you to think that he was currently going through bankruptcy, making twice. Yes, it was just one as far as I know. I also read he has much less money collected for his campaign than Lamar. I guess his Face Book penny jar doesn’t hold much. My comment about the sniffer machine could be misunderstood easily too. He didn’t mention that in this interview, only said the breath machine was inaccurate. I’m not sure why they said it that test result was thrown out. The road test is never used in court because it isn’t consistently accurate, due to environmental conditions that fluctuate. Usually they use that and the field sobriety test as probable cause to take them in then have them blow back at the station. That machine test results are admissible in court. If one refuses to blow they get a warrant for a blood test. As I’ve said before, there are ways to forge test results and I have a copy of someone’s state forensic lab blood test that has been cut and pasted, putting someone else’s results with the defendant’s ID, along with accidentally leaving that other guy’s barcode on one page of 3.
But, if I am understanding this correctly, they did the field breath test but not another back at the jail and no blood test so all they have is the video, which is probably equally valuable to the prosecution. Young Ashton looked to be well over the .08 legal limit. It would take quite a bit more than 2 beers to do that.

The world lost a bright star but when I look up at the stars I’ll think about that powerful voice, the vibrational waves expanding into the heavens infinitely and eternally. Every time I hear her sing I Will Always Love You, I get goose bumps and even tears sometimes. Music can move the soul in a way no other art can because you can literally feel it. Her voice is amazing. What a sad premature ending to her earth journey. I took a few minutes to track down her natal data and can clearly see she was destined to be a mega star effortlessly and that her mate was her fated potential downfall, but not her excuse. The tendency to get lost in the world of drugs is shown as a vulnerability when she was born. Being found in the bathtub and drug or alcohol involvement is also shown as a potential for cause of death. The signature of the official TOD implies an accidental death and possibly an electrical involvement. Of course, the latter could simply be a failure for the heart to receive it’s electrical signals to keep pumping too. There is indication of too much of something that affected her heart. But I must add a disclaimer that this is when they found her and pronounced her dead, not the actual TOD. It sounds like she actually passed much earlier. But I think this should prove an accurate picture painted in the heavens. So sad~

Oviedo a Red Herring?
Some time ago, the Anthony’s knew about the Oviedo rental house and it was a place of interest to them, and, likely LE. (In mid-August, George traveled there with his billboard to meet the “people” who were supposedly watching Caylee’s kidnappers.)
IMO, the Oviedo house connection rises out of one of the lies Casey told her parents during her efforts to become independent and move out. We know for some time, Casey was determined to move out. G&C would want to know where she would be living with Caylee, and where she would be working. My thinking is that Casey gave G&C the Oviedo house rental info for a cover, because she knew it was available rental property through her various friends, and that her parents would find such a house/yard suitable for Caylee. (edited due to superfluous spewage)
While the Oviedo house connection yields interesting coinkydinks all over the place, it may simply be a red herring Casey planted with her parents during her May/June push for independence.

Also, on August 12 George told reporters that he was meeting in Oviedo with people “assisting outside the normal scope of things” in finding Caylee. I don’t know if that means anything or has been discussed before.

I have received other information regarding this area and the consistent searching. I think the reason we did not search this area and there has been little coverage is because this is in Seminole County but is not very far from her home. It is also a different Sheriff’s office. Oviedo is also where Amy lived with Ricardo before they moved… and Casey spent some time up there with other “friends.”

HGM, just read your posts and I remember lots of attention on the Oveido house. So, who is this Kim at the innocent site? I haven’t heard the name before but it looks like she is saying she knows Casey. Could she just be someone that wants attention, a claim to fame? I only ask this because she seems to be saying that Caylee was still alive around the 4th of July and so far we haven’t seen evidence of that. I know astrologically, I didn’t see the Hinkle tape coming into contact with her until after June 15 but I’m talking about evidence that could be used at trial and the tape doesn’t tell us when she died. I’m not saying that it couldn’t be possible, just that I want to know who this person is. Plus, I saw a lot of evidence through Casey’s chart that there was a potentially very violent act against her on June 15 or very near, likely involving Caylee and a father or authority figure.

I have always been rather curious about this Lauren Coppel. The way the “friends” all turned on Lauren after the break-up was ODD! Back in Sept 08 the Oviedo house was an area of interest but after LE searched it on 1 occassion it dropped off the radar.

Oviedo police were suspicious from the start. Burt and the child’s mother, Crystal Aday, said they found the girl unconscious on the bathroom floor and rushed her to the hospital where doctors found many old and new bruises and cuts.
The parents told police they’d been home cleaning all day, but a new arrest report shows Aday’s own mother unraveled that story.
The day the toddler died, Aday called her mother from a Walmart hysterical about a fight with Burt about his discipline of the girl. According to the report, “The mother stated she immediately thought Mr. Burt physically abused [the victim] … Ms. Aday responded by saying, ‘I don’t know, mom. I don’t know.’”
The medical examiner later determined the girl died during the one-hour and 15-minute period when only Burt was home with her. Receipts and surveillance video proved Aday was away at the Walmart. She’s now charged as an accessory to Burt’s crime for going along with the house cleaning lie.
“From a historical standpoint, it is unusual for prosecutors to go for the death penalty in a case like this,” WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said.
Sheaffer says the aggravators that would allow the death penalty in this case changed in recent years to include the victim’s young age, she was just three, burt’s custodial/parental relationship to her, and a history of abuse. They’re aggravators similar to those found in the murder case against Casey Anthony.
Burt served honorably for 20 years in the Army, but now he is locked up without bond in the Seminole County jail.

Yes, I remember the other mechanic. Just can’t think of his name. He posted on WS early on and I believe he lived at sawgrass. Ricardo supposedly was not a mechanic, but someone who worked in the office. I wish I could remember the guys name. He said that neck breaking was the name of ricardo’s car club. He had nothing bad to say about kc. She visited them often at sawgrass. I will try and find it.

Oh, by the way, Bush is accused of sexual assault against minors, his buddy the chief put a stop to the investigation, they he got busted for corruption and now his friend is awaiting trial. I really don’t know any of the details so can’t judge the guys guilt or innocence at all. Mason must think he’s worth fighting for though. People could wrongly presume his guilt simply because the chief interfered with a proper investigation so he deserves a good attorney, like anyone else. Have a good night. I’m off to rest. Yes I have spoken with Annie about this. We both worked day jobs and if Casey had come over with Caylee she would have been there when I got home. I dont know who had a dog that Caylee would have played with in 2007.

We went to Millers Ale House in Waterford Lakes, 7-1-08 Caylee was not present and she made no mention to me where she was. Dante does know Jeff Hopkins and did see Jeff at the Ale House on July 1, 2008. Casey and he did not have much communication after he left DRF.
Chloroform can be made (intentionally or accidentaly) with cleaning supplies (his opinion).. I dont believe that Casey would KNOW this but it is possible. You can find the ingredients and process of making it on the internet very easily. He is on the fence on the WHY…Not sure how it happened … His stepfather is a Civil engineer and has a VERY VERY good understanding of chemical reactions and the like so he asked him when it came up that there was traces (his words- but not a fact) found in Casey’s car how it could have gotten there because you cant just go to your corner store and buy chloroform.
Lauren C. no longer worked at DRF at the end of May and their (KC) relationship had kind of fallen apart by then from what Casey told Dante. Does not know Laura R**e… Never had anything missing. Casey never took anything from our group of friends as far as he is aware of… Yes-during the day when kc came to DRF-Caylee was with…Caylee would sit a either Dante or Annie’s desk and play with a toy or my computer while Casey and Dante or Casey and Annie spoke while KC was waiting for Ricardo…

Ricardo is not a mechanic, nor was Dante; at Don Reid. He was a service advisor. Basically a mechanic with nice clothes, a clean shave, and good people skills. It was his job to communicate to people what was wrong with their vehicle. Ricardo worked in the BDC which is the Business Developement Center. He basically did internet sales and service appointments ….
Went freely to the Anthony home, he was called there to be questioned by George and Cindy but was not forced, coerced, mislead or anything like that by them…KC was not present. Lawyers where… (Who does this? I guess I’d be tempted, desperate to get the info they might have but why trust thier “truths”?)
D says he didn’t see Casey between the time of her & Rico’s break-up (which he states was May but newer info puts it more like APril) until he and Jeff “bumped into her” on July 1 2008.

-Ive known Casey in high school, but we were not friends, she is a couple of years younger then me. ANd of course, being an attractive girl, especially to typical high school males, makes her hard to forget. my friends for some reason of optimism believe that caylee is safe and sound somewhere.

(Claims to be a long-term CLOSE friend yet 2 months in he’s already adjudicated her guilty? Geez was there anyone who didn’t sell her out?)
I last saw her 2 weeks before she was first arrested (before the 911 calls), it was at a UFC fight, its the same night I met Tony for the first time (Also around July 1 or 2)

Attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman suing Casey Anthony for defamation, filed a motion today asking a judge to find Anthony liable for statements her mother Cindy made to the media.
Gonzalez was interviewed by detectives after Anthony claimed a nanny with a similar name had kidnapped her daughter in 2008. Anthony was later shown a photo of Gonzalez, the filing says.
The motion says Anthony ruled out Gonzalez as the nanny, but then told her parents she’d never seen a photo of the woman or ruled her out. Her mother,Cindy Anthony,relayed that to the media.
As a result, the motion says, media reports indicated that Gonzalez had not been ruled out.
Gonzalez’s lawyers argue Cindy Anthony was speaking on her daughter’s behalf, and therefore Casey Anthony should be liable. They are asking Judge Lisa Munyon for a partial summary judgment.
Here is a story you might have heard of. This young man was aquitted of murder and now he is sueing and I for one hope he gets it. Tragic Tragic story. I think 48 Hours even did a story on it.

In another question he is asked about her personality traits (quite a long list of this or that choices) One of them is “Talks at a fast pace or a normal rate of speech?” His answer = Fast. Then I think about Amy’s interview where she says Casey talks A LOT. Mentions something like “constantly talking”. This is could be indicative of Racing Thoughts. The other thing that comes to mind is Compulsion. Both potentially symptoms of PTSD and/or history of childhood sexual abuse.

Mimi, It sounds like to me, that since Casey NEVER publicly spoke about knowledge of the searches (proof she knew they were ongoing, when they were conducted, who was the party handling the searches) & Cindy Anthony is the party who “lead the public” to believe ZFG was still a POI that unless the judge rules that Casey can be held responsible for her MOTHER’S statements to the media it is going to get completely thrown out!!! What they are asking the judge for is to determine by bench trial type deal that ZFG is entitled to a portion of the previously asked for amount since she herself didn’t DEFAME ZFG. Cindy Anthony did and they should have sued her but there’s no way to become the hero in that …or so they thought. Come to think of it, I hope ZFG goes after Cindy. Maybe then she’ll loose her tongue about ol George

YW Mimi, of course, it’s just my interpretation of the event. I do believe the motion will be struck down. I can’t imagine that Casey can be held accountable for what her parents said. She had broken off all contact with them as of August 13 2008. Anything they said or told the media after that is all thier own doing.
I hope that it’s not over. I still strive daily to find that piece that makes this whole thing slam together. Since the Trial I have nearly lost interest in every other case. Even after everything that has happened, it’s still so unsolved!

To be clear, there is nothing wrong with her pleading the 5th while her appeal is pending, and ZG is not being harmed by her pleading the 5th. ZG can request that the jury be permitted to conclude that anything for which Casey pleads the 5th would have been answered in ZG’s favor. I don’t feel like the case is solved either. That Lake Vaj house was never explained by the def or the prosecution. It obvious to me that the pics of Caylee and Casey on the property was probably the most recent of all pictures. You can tell by her height and lack of baby fat that she was a 3yo.
I have so many questions about the activities during this time.. it’s mind boggling.

Nasty Disgrace is such a petulant little imp. It’s too bad that she doesn’t seem to realize how deranged and without reason she sounds. She absolutely turns my stomach. Apparently she wasn’t much of an attorney because she thinks that autopsies are only performed when murder was suspected. What a dipsh*t. Autopsies are for determining cause and manner of death when no apparent cause or manner is immediately apparent. So, with that said, she thinks it’s then ok to go onto tv and demand to know who pushed her under????
Sadly, her inadequate ability to think reasonably has spread to a large number of people in this country and in this world. So very sad.
Jeff Ashton lost his son’s DUI case. His son was found guilty. From the Sentinal article, it sounds as though Jeffy really gave the cop on the stand a hard time.
IMO, Jeffy’s decision to even get involved in his son’s case spelled the end to any hopes he had in the State Attorney election. It was really a no-win decision and, I think, has caused many people here in Florida to question his (Jeffy’s) judgment. Just the fact that he would chose, at this time especially, to go into a courtroom and defend ANYONE accused of a DUI shows a complete disregard for the safety of the general public. To have the nerve to have the breathalizer results thrown out as being “unreliable” is insane. Does he not realize that if, by some miracle he was elected State Attorney, that would come back to haunt him? How could the state prosecute someone for DUI after the State Attorney himself had argued that the tests are not reliable? Very, very stupid move on his part.
Maybe that karma all the haters have been praying for just snuck up and took a big ol’ chunk out of Ashton’s ass. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. JMHO

I think asking for a summary judgment doesn’t stand a chance because there is a material fact that trumps anything Cindy or Casey said during a jail visit or in front of the camera. Before any of that took place Melich showed Casey a picture of this ZG and Casey told him no it is not the nanny. It is found in the very first doc dump. CASE CLOSED!

Casey Anthony: Jeff Ashton loses again
“He was loud, he was aggressive, and he got pretty amped up at times,” WKMG’s Louis Bolden reported……
After today’s verdict, Ashton was low-key in talking to reporters about his son. “He’s learned from what happened. He’s already learned from it and he’ll learn more,” Ashton said. “These are tough lessons, but he’ll take it like a man.”
WOFL-Channel 35’s Holly Bristow added that Ashton said he’d take a lesson from today if he wins his run for state attorney.
WESH-Channel 2’s Greg Fox asked Ashton’s opponents in the August Democratic primary about the former prosecutor’s success in getting breath-alcohol tests tossed in the trial.
State Attorney Lawson Lamar, Ashton’s former boss, said: “We believe the breathalyzer as currently used is accurate and reliable.” Lamar wouldn’t comment on Ashton’s approach in the case, but defended use of the breath-alcohol machine. “It helps get the drunks off the road,” Lamar said.
WFTV-Channel 9’s Jeff Deal reported that Ashton’s son “was given one year of probation, he’s going to lose his license for six months, then have to do 50 hours of community service — it’s the exact same sentence that was offered in a plea deal before the trial.”

JFC, I just think if I was JA, I would step out, win or loose the daughter case, how can he ever expect any of this to enhance his political career. The more I learn of him the more I suspect he may lean on the old tiresome sympathy platform. He must have thought the pity on losing the CA case would overflow and give him any piece of candy he wanted. Even if he had won, I doubt it too. Viewing from far away, it appears JA would do better to just hush! Maybe get a good physical and emotional checkup/out. MOO.

Omar sees the driver’s eyes in the rear view mirror , as he takes a drink from his bottled water. There is something familiar about those eyes.
The driver appears to be laughing hysterically at some inside joke , as he pulls away from the curb. Horns honk and tires screech as he narrowly misses sideswiping a bus.
Omar hears the thunk of the electric door locks. Imperfect Justice (the books on tape version) is blaring through the rear speakers of the cab.
After a mile or so the taxi pulls to the curb to pick up Nancy Grace. Nancy enters the front passenger seat. ” Well, It seems that you have been saying some Naughty things about us Omar, Care to explain ?”
Omar starts to answer but is quickly interrupted…. “No No No , Don’t tell me about Free Speech and your rights and stuff, I WAS A PROSECUTOR DAMMIT” Nancy snarls ” And so was Jeffy here, until he sold out to the CRIMINAL side, But I still respect him”
Omar notices that Nancy is holding a roll of Henkels brand Duct tape in her hands. Nancy turns toward Omar in the back seat and then ……RRRIIIPPPPP….. Omar instinctively thinks it is duct tape being pulled from the roll , Then Jeffy says ” Nancy farted HAHAHAHA” . Nancy denies it , and blames the sound on the leather seats.

I’m picturing Ashton speeding in a cab (I think he’s doing 68 in a 45) with his facial tics in overdrive as he’s laughing as, with his right hand, he’s frantically waving a can in the air as he tries to capture Nancy’s vapors. Perhaps he has a collections of cans, each holding different odors. It’s a hobby of his….odor collecting. And he keeps them all on a credenza in his den, each labeled and alphabetized according to odor contributor, with a dewey decimal sort of system to further identify the odor from each alphabetized contributor.
On the weekends, he invites Arpad Vass and Judge Perry over, and rather than having a wine tasting sort of event….they have a can sniffing event. Jeffie, of course, directs the sniff off, and if Belvin or Arpad guess incorrectly, Ashton vigorously objects in his whiney, animated way that the haters found to be sooooo endearing. You see, “Mr. Smell Good”…..as some fine folks around the blog-o-sphere called him…..is gather scents, with the help of Vass….in hopes of creating his very own male fragrance line. After all, those folks in the court room really seemed to get all vapid and swooney over how WONDERFUL Jeffie smelled during the early hearings. Vass saw that his clandestine grave sniffer machine was a hunk of worthless crap, so he decided to jump on the bandwagon with Jeffie Boy and give up decompositional odor for the more lucrative men’s cologne venture.
Belvin is simply invited for moral support. After all, what else does one do when they realize that they can’t run for big bull goose of the Orange/Osceola court house?
At their latest sniff-off, Ashton was heard telling Vass that Nancy’s vapors smelled as if she had been eating blow flies….to which Belvin replied, “What about blow……?? I don’t even have any toofless interns…..Oh wait…you said blow FLIES. Very well. Susssssssssssstain.”
*gathering scents….not “gather” scents. Darned typos!

I have been doing lots of reading, listening and research since the trial about this case and have been doing it with open eyes, heart and mind. I am starting to see this outcome we were all disappointed in, in a different light lately. The more time goes by, the more convinced I am becoming, that maybe, just maybe Casey really didn’t do it.
That is not going to be a popular opinion, I understand, but there was one other person that could be more involved than we are seeing as the one responsible for Caylee’s death. Whether it was intentional or an accident, remains to be questioned, but IMO, I believe it to have been intentional and more than that, planned ahead of time.
I still am working on a few more questions in my mind before becoming completely convinced.
Have any of you thought that maybe she really didn’t do it? It is possible for her to have been made to be the scapegoat in this? I can see it and more…I am beginning to think it.

Jeffy quickly downs his bottle of Aqua-Fina and says ” You did too Fart, and it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car.!” Ashton squeezes as much air as he can out of the empty plastic bottle and holds it in the area of Nancy’s ample rump ,,then allows the bottle to collect the toxic fumes before recapping it.
Omar stifles a laugh, but Nancy sees it and asks Jeffy for the Chloroform.
“What?” Jeff says with a stupid look on his face
“I TOLD YOU TO MAKE CHLOROFORM, YOU IDIOT !!!” Nancy screamed , with fire blazing in her eyes.
“I thought you said Clorox” Jeffy stammered. ” You can’t just make chloroform in the kitchen sink, you know ?
“Well, did you google it? rasped Nancy, clearly fed up with Jeffy’s incompetence.
” I was going to , but my wife won’t let me on the computer anymore” pouted Ashton

and coming to their own conclusions.
No one really knows, but with ever fiber of my being I do believe
whatever that Casey is innocent and is being used as a scapegoat.
Really whe you get away from your emotions and HLN, you think clearer.
I know listening everyday, that I put my mind to thinking and believed
that Casey had nothing to do with it and I went through all of the manslaughter, 2nd degree murder, 1st and even neglagence of a child and could see any of it.
PLus KNEW the state and the media was trying to pull a fast one on us.
I know that the jury must be reading all of the hate against Casey and the jurors
and believe more than ever that they got it right. I think they knew then.
But to know that Casey, her team and the jurors are all being threatened by the haters must really make them think, My God!! They wanted us to convict her and put her to death must really have them concerned. I know that I am.

Number ONE…..During the three years prior to the trial, I prayed almost nightly. I didn’t pray that Casey would be convicted. I prayed for the outcome to be what it should be. Only God and who ever is involved in this know who really killed Caylee. SInce there were no witness’s, of course. So I prayed to only have Casey convicted IF she was the one to do this. IF NOT, then, let her be found innocent. I have no way of knowing what really happened and so I found it to be pretty egotistical of me to pray for a Death sentence for her. I kept thinking YES if she did, but what if, what if she didn’t. So when she was found Guilty. And yes, I was just as dumbfounded and furious at the jury as the rest of you. But in the days after, I believe in God enough to think he wouldn’t have let this happen if she was guilty. Even my family was saying to me, I thought you would be a lot madder than you are etc. Questions like, Have you heard the verdict yet? Because you are not reacting like I thought you would. So I decided I would open my mind. REALLY give it a chance that MAYBE she didn’t do it. Started seeing things in a different way. I also have different views than all of you with this looking at this case with a different set of glasses on, who did do it, why, when and how. It is very hard to share my new opinions who were not overnight, believe me. It took all of these months to come around to where I am at right now. I didn’t want to be a follower and just let this become like a virus within me. I wanted to search out the truth, at least what I can believe as the truth in my own mind. It is all in the family, but I am getting more convinced it was not Casey. IMOO I am not trying to skirt around what my opinions are, but it would take me all afternoon to discuss each issue. If any one has a specific question, I would be happy to take on those questions, though. I have to be also real careful, of not being sued by parties involved. It has happened with other cases and can happen here, so I feel the need to be very careful about what I say here. I just want all of you to know, because we have had a very long history of blogging and friendships for the many years now, that I have not overlooked or am dodging your questions and replies.
I posted again with my feelings etc. Touched on little bits of how I came around to have come to some of my opinions. x
But I am only trying to think What if Casey really didn’t kill Caylee? Think of all the horrific comments that have been made against her for doing that. Her other behaviors personally or legally, morally etc are not my concern. I am only discussing the murder and whether or not SHE is the one who is guilty or simply made a scapegoat.

This is disgusting how the attorney is attacking Zenaida, the victim! People may assume identities other than there own – but usually they’re richer, classier, better off than the real person (I’m thinking of “Clark Rockefeller.”
No sane person assumes the identity of someone who kidnaps a child that the whole nation is looking for…and what, loses her job & her apartment when people think she is the nanny just because she’s so committed to taking on this identity? Did she think getting death threats were fun? Disgusting to even suggest. Just like in the murder trial- blame George who lost his granddaughter at Casey’s hands or Caylee herself who just put the ladder up by the pool (yeah right), climbed on in and drowned herself (which is what I feel they insinuated)?
Anybody but Casey did it – oh, wait, Casey’s victims actually did it to themselves.

ok, Now this is what I am reading around, so I dont have a link. I have read that Casey has not been served to appear in the civil cases. (I do know she was served while still in jail but I think that was for the depo) and with out being served, she can say she didnt know.. GIGGLE… ok and they are worried now that she possibly is fixing to be released from her second probation (I threw in the SECOND) lol so they are worried about Casey leaving and not showing up hehehehehehe So do yall know anything along these lines…
VERY interesting, Mimi. I have a lot of respect for this person. I, too, prayed that the Lord would direct the verdict. The Bible says that God’s judgement is righteous (Psalm 96, Psalm 119, Romans 2….among other places). My prayer was that justice would be served because ONLY God knew what truly happened (well, God and the one who did it or found her). I never ever prayed that Casey would be found not guilty….I only prayed God’s will be done. It looked as if, according to the general concensus of the public and the media, that Casey would be found guilty. In my heart, and based on the evidence I saw, I felt that Casey was not guilty. Apparently, the Lord felt that way too because DESPITE the fact that the SAO was there helping to pick that jury….and DESPITE the fact that the judge bent over backwards to thwart the defense and assist the prosecution….DESPITE public opinion…..12 people found in favor of Casey. I give the glory to God for that!!
It’s a crying shame that this person will be banned from this site (which I have no doubt he/she WILL be banned). People should start reading what God’s word says about HIS judgement and the way He works things out. That’s not to say that Casey is a saint. BUT…according to the Bible, none of us are righteous except through Christ. Our righteousness is “as filty rags” according to God’s word. So while Casey might not be a saint, God knows what happened to Caylee….and I believe that HE made sure Casey didn’t pay for a crime she didn’t commit.
HE does promise, though, that things done in darkness will be uncovered in the light. We WILL begin to see light shed on this situation as time goes by.
Do you have any idea who this person (QC) is? Do you think they have visited here?

Mimi….about her not showing up for the civil trial…….I don’t know whether or not she will show up. I believe I read that her attorney said it shouldn’t be necessary for her to be there. I don’t have a link for that right now and can’t remember where I read it. I’ll try to find it tomorrow if you remind me. But regardless of whether she shows up or not, she will be taking the 5th, so she’s not going to answer their ridiculous questions. After all……she is still appealing the lying convictions!!
The person who was commenting on “poor ZG” is ridiculous!! She must not have read up on her info. Zenaida Gonzales lost her house BEFORE this went down….and if I’m not mistaken, she quit her job rather than being fired. This whole civil suit is nothing more than a publicity stunt orchestrated by M&M who were miffed off that they weren’t allowed to be in on the defense.
And I HOPE that Casey is about to be released from her SECOND probation!! If she does, the haters have themselves to thank for it!!

Nope I have no I idea. LOL Some were trying to figure out if it was an impostor. They even went back and put some old comments. But 1 blogger said, they really think same person. QC had been there for YRS and according to this lady, QC has started having a diff opinion since the end of trial. She sure would like to know “what” changed QC mind. IMHO, its having an OPEN MIND. If you dont, nothing anyone says will matter.

Nancy and Jeff switch places in the car. Nancy slides in behind the wheel, and her stubby legs won’t reach the pedals, so she finds the lever and quickly slides the seat forward. Jeffy’s knees are crushes against the glove compartment door and he howls in pain.”Geez Nancy, you coulda warned me! ”
“Oh be quiet, you long legged giraffe” snarls Nancy as she snaps off the rear view mirror trying to adjust it.
“How come they don’t make these seat belts long enough to fit normal sized people?” Nancy growls trying to buckle up.
As they pull into traffic a cell phone rings , the ringtone is coming from Ashtons pants pocket.
“I said NO cellphones you Clown” Nancy says , grabbing Ashton by his lucky Jerry Garcia tie. “Don’t answer it !!” Hissed Nancy.
“But I have to answer it , It’s my Mom, she always calls me at 3:30 to make sure I took my pills” Jeffy says bravely.
Omar watches in fascination as nancy demands Jeffs phone , then hurls it out the window.
After a few minutes of driving they arrive at johnson’s towing yard. Nancy pulls around to the back of the fenced area, and parks the cab.Turning to Omar in the back seat Nancy yells ” I suppose you think it’s funny that you and your Blogger friends got me fired from HLN”
” Yes, I think it is Hilarious”says Omar
“Oh you do…Well then I guess you don’t care that I have to work at Fusian giving table dances for Roy Kronk?”
Omar cannot contain her laughter any longer, and Nancy grabs the nearest object to throw, which just happened to be the taxi’s rear view mirror. Her aim was off and it sailed past Omar hitting the back of the seat and bouncing harmlessly to the floor.Omar quietly picks it up and slips it into a jacket pocket.”Did you know that my husband left me after you did your smear campaign?”snarls Nancy.
” Yes I knew that” omar says with a laugh.

“Okay, let’s get this over with, Time for you to go in the trunk Omar”Nancy says opening the driver door.” We’re going to teach you to screw with us”
“I’m not getting in any trunk” Omar says ” you’ll never get away with this”
Nancy pulls a small caliber pistol from her purse. ” get out of the car”
As Jeefy opens the car door omar is calculating the direction of the sun and pulling the mirror out of the coat pocket, with swift precision the suns beam was aimed directly at nancys eyes. Temporarily blinded, it was easy for Omar to wrestle the small pistol from her hand.
“Okay, both of you, get in the trunk ” said Omar “Watch your fingers” Omar said as the trunk lid slammed.
Omar thought about calling 911 immediately, ….. or waiting about a month.
as omar considered this, two patrol cars rounded the corner, “drop the gun”, one officer yelled.
After a few minutes of explaining , it was clear who the real criminals were.
“I smell human decomposition”, one officer said
It’s not me , it’s HER” said Jeffy as he was being handcuffed. ” by the way,how did you find us ?”
“Well, when you didn’t answer your Mother’s phone call , she knew something was wrong and had the taxi company locate you by GPS” said the other officer.

“Yes your honor, Lamar Lawson and Linda Drane Burdick will
be representing the state of Florida.”
“thank you, and have the co-defendants retained legal
council at this time?”
Nancy and Jeffy are both dressed in orange coveralls. Jeff
speaks first ” Jose, c’mon buddy, I can’t be tried along
with this woman, She is the MOST hated woman in America”
” I want to represent myself”
Jose reminds Jeffy that this might not be wise considering
his track record. ” you know the old joke ~ he who acts as
his own lawyer has a fool for a client”
” well, i don’t really have a sense of humor, but go ahead
and finish the joke ” Aston manages to babble.
Exasperated , Jose moves on to Ms. Nancy Grace, who looks
like a rotting Georgia Peach in her Orange jumpsuit. “Ms
Grace do you have the funds to hire a lawyer in this very
serious charge , or would you like me to appoint one free of
charge?”
” Mr Baez, I have run out of gas three times this week , and
I drive a frickin Subaru” Nancy screams “of course I want a

Judge Baez studies a chart for a moment and declares ” Ms
Grace. I want you to get Anthony and Fryer”
“Yes, I have Always wanted to do that !!!!” Nancy says with
joy in her eyes
” I’m sorry Ms. Grace , I think you misunderstood, I am
appointing legal council of Casey Anthony and Lisbeth Fryer”
“WHATTTT?”
Casey Anthony and Lisbeth Fryer silently take their places
alongside Nancy. Casey leans toward her and whispers “What

I know! Wouldn’t it make sense that Amy would mention the Oviedo house to Casey as a potential rental since she had previously lived there? I bet Amy really talked that place up! Hmmm, I just remembered that Amy had to retrive her checks & insurance papers from the Oviedo house so once again I am unsure.
I once used that exact photo to calculate Caylee’s approximate height at death by using Casey’s known height X the average leg ratio from hip to foot = Caylee’s height (approx)
I did this because Haterz were trying to insist that Caylee couldn’t reach the patio door handles by herself. I used several interior shots of door knob safety covers on interior doors. Casey’s bedroom door had one on the INSIDE. So Caylee could not escape- some one had let her out or take her OUT!! If Caylee weren’t able to reach door knobs or open doors where is the need for the knob safety covers? I also showed the average ratio of interior door knob heights as well as the 1.5″ heigher patio door knobs. ALL of which Caylee not only could reach but could open unaided with the exception of the interior side of the bedroom door.
(Yes, I apparently have too much time on my hands, lol)

Awww Thanks Sonja! I felt really strange talking about it and I KNOW it came out sounding wrong or strange but I really did feel that was the reason for the hatchet.
I also feel he told them that the surprise was that they were going to go be with thier mother.

Honestly, I think ol Jeffy knew his goose was cooked when he got that call from ajil. LOL No way is he going to win after that. As a matter of fact, losing the Casey trial was really the death knell of his aspirations but alas, he has been in DENIAL.
It appears that the Laughing Man is no longer laughing.

I watched the clip of Jeff being asked if he was embarrassed to represent his son in that case and he claimed no but he was so irate at being asking it was completely obvious he WAS!

Thanks Mimi! All Jack ASSton did was show just exactly what many have said all along, LE and this includes the SAO, believe they are ABOVE the law. They really really do. Just like Jesse Grund did. He really thought since he was LE that HIS tag being out of date was no big deal. When confronted by his supervisor about it his attitude was ” Well, yeah, but it’s me…I’m LE”. This was part and parcel of his firing from OCSO. That plus more.

(ie work for the State) while simultainiously defending his son’s criminal DUI case (OPPOSING the State). Bad enough to have the “scandal” happen but to defend Alex himself? I looked around & found this: August 23rd 2012: Casey’s probation period ends. (Caseyanthonyisinnocent) WHich means that the first 6 months of Casey’s probation will be over on Feb 23 2012. Since she has remained a model probationer & has not had any arrests or criminal issues she can apply to transfer to another State.
The Florida Probation Office can also choose to end the probation and Casey can walk away a 100% free woman. She doesn’t have to face the civil suits, she can choose to lose them by default while she is sunning herself on the Mexico beaches! I suppose any monies made through US enterprises could be levied for the losses but Pfft Drops in the bucket, eh?
Personally, I think the prob dept will turn her loose. IMO they never wanted the second term of probation & are none too happy that Strickland over-stepped his bounds & made a mockery out of them & thier profession.

I’m wondering if it’s not personal experience. It almost sounds as if she has had some personal experience with molesters. Not so much as the victim but maybe a loved one of a victim? I once had a commentor on my PTSD series tell me that through my writing she was able to come to understand a loved one like she never had before. The author of the comment was in her 60s and had known the other party many years. She said that she had never really stopped to realize that all of the self-destructive things the woman had been doing to herself & her life weren’t really just impulsive decisions or even within her ability to control.
When she had seen her acting out sexually she had condemned her.
WHen she had self-medicated with alcohol & drugs, the commentor distained her. The commentor shared that while she had known that the woman had suffered abuses, including sexual abuse she had never really understood what a huge impact it really had on the other party’s life & the choices she had made. She thanked me so warmly, so happy to see how wrong she had been. She was so glad to make a fresh, fully compassionate start with the other woman. This was the first time I was able to touch someone with my writing. I had finally found my voice & I knew I would use it to help others.
I just watched the AA guilty verdict…..They weren’t required to stand for the verdict???? “JUST LIKE IN THE CASEY ANTHONY TRIAL HE RESPECTS THE JURY’S DECISION” ??? (Oy!)

I had found an intrigueing post on another blog by someone who claimed to have been with Casey on July 3 2008 and that Caylee was still alive & had been babysat by someone that night. They said that if you follow the picture trail you would find out who she is. The picture trail lead to the OVIEDO HOUSE where Lauren Coppel & Amy had lived prior to Amy leaving for 6 months to work on a cruise ship. There’s a lot more to it but I’ve been sick w a cold and my thinker is medicated and not working at peak performance.
ALso the person who posted it also posts on the blog’s FB page & makes all of her posts directly to Casey. (K. Ballman) I accidentally confused the issue with bringing over the Websleuths “interview” of the Lake Vaj House owner since he too is EMESHED in that same group.

I had to laugh because later in those 2 threads Chris Starke BB-12 (Banned) posted to him her notes on “the other guys” thread showing where his accounts were in direct conflict with the other guys. (No known persons in Oviedo, no known persons a Sawgrass, etc) She stone cold busted him on it and he only made a few posts after. I think 1 to say he was tired for the night and 5 months later “updating his thread” that the other guy had been right, sorry for any confusion.

Okay, there was a story recently on OS that a couple of men are being held for drugging women and having sex with them and then putting the videos on the internet. Several women testified at trial. This former police officer would call up models and lure them to Orlando and then drug them. The women would wake up in their car with no recollection of what happened. Months later they were confronted by people telling them on the internet that they liked their sex video.
I just wonder if Ca is not drugged like this.

I did notice how the camera man eventually just focused on GA only to eliminate Cindy from the pic. One of the first things I noticed, when asked about the grand jury testimony, is how Cindy, who had until that time kept her eyes down, suddenly looked up at GA. Cindy was definitely drugged with something during this interview. It’s really sad that we have to wonder whether or not she was drugged by GA, or if it was perscription meds that she was on. At this point, I wouldn’t put anything past GA…..
I had not heard about the news story with the drugged women, NTS. Scarey business! You know, people can hide their heads in the sand all they want to, but the truth of the matter is that this stuff goes on way more than people realize…..and the ones doing it oftentimes look just like “the guy next door”….. Even normal looking people have deep, dark secrets sometimes. It’s very disturbing, though, to hear about something like that!! Wow!
That’s why I am still stupefied when I read comments around the web where people are stating as FACT that they KNOW GA had nothing to do with any of this horrid mess with Caylee. As IF, just because he looks like the guy next door, that somehow makes him exempt from any of this. If you ask me, he fits the profile perfectly of a sexual deviant.
Time will tell, I suppose. If GA is, truly, just a victim in all of this mess, then he sure did his utmost best to try to make himself feel important while throwing Casey under the bus and sneaking around behind Cindy’s back. The main reason that I think he’s capable of all of this deviance (other than his lying and cheating while people were searching for his grandbaby) is because he sat with Dr. Phil and said that he felt like Casey drugged Caylee and that Caylee died as a result of that. That wouldn’t seem so strange to me had he not behaved the way he did throughout the search times. GA didn’t start openly alluding to Casey’s involvement until after the molestation story went public at trial…… so like a typical guilty person, he publically flipped his story to point to Casey’s guilt, just like a guilty coward who is trying to get even with his victim for ratting him out. Had Casey continued to keep his secret, he would, to this day, still be publically supporting her. Of course, true to form from the beginning, he would still be throwing bones and muddying the trail and trying to secretly cast the blame at Casey so that no one would think to investigate him…..but at least publically, he could still PRETEND to be a loving father and grandfather.

He is scheduled to address the American Academy of Forensic Sciences’ annual meeting in Atlanta, which starts today.
Baez was listed as a speaker at three sessions. A breakfast session on Friday is called “Fantasy of Forensics: How Junk Science Failed to Persuade the Jury in the Casey Anthony Case.” A session on Tuesday is titled “Flawed Forensics: Recognizing and Challenging Misleading Forensic Evidence and Disingenuous Expert Testimony.”

Many of the people attending these sessions may eventually become forensic experts in legal cases. Some of them may be called by the defense, but just as many will likely be called by the prosecution.
Would it not be in the best interest of victims like Caylee throughout our country to have forensic experts who correct the flaws in the forensics that are being exploited by defense lawyers, and used disingenuously by prosecutors?
While pretty much everyone who has posted so far on this article obviously has a strong dislike for Baez, the powers that be at the AAFS have him speaking at three sessions. ZG’s lawyer Morgan called Baez a very smart man. Sometimes emotions cloud opinions. Who would be a better judge of whether or not Baez would be a good speaker at the AAFS, the people who booked him, or the people who are angry that Casey was acquitted?
Why not have a lawyer from the most publicized trial in recent history, that contained many areas of forensic science, speak about fantasy and flawed forensics? If, as many of you believe, Baez circumvented the legal system with his balony about fantasy forensics and junk science, then isn’t it logical to have him speak to forensic scientists so they can learn how to avoid circumvention in the future?

I agree with your post also, except that at :14 the male adult dressed as the super hero seems to ask the little boy just in front of him (closer to camera then Casey & Cindy) “How oold are you today?” . If you pause the video at that point you can see that the boy is looking at the man while Casey & Cindy appear to be listening & talking to the lady next to them on that side of the table. Also the boy is wearing a purple “Birthday” crown. I’m guessing they are at Chucky Cheese’s.

PI Pat McKeena:
“I walked out of that house and thought to myself, ‘I don’t think this kid committed first degree murder. There is something really disturbing about this family. I was shocked by their lack of emotion. There was no sense of loss or despondency. Their granddaughter’s remains had just been found and they’re sitting around booking television interviews and talking about how much money their foundation is making,” McKenna recalls.
He also says George and Cindy Anthony were not cooperative with him at first, even though he was there to help their daughter.
“George was bizarre. He would go around and around for hours and he wouldn’t answer a question directly. And he is a former detective, so he knows the drill. There was something off with this guy,” McKenna said.
He shared his instincts with Baez and suggested looking into the family dynamics – and any dark secrets — of the Anthony family.
Some of the alleged family secrets famously unfolded at trial, with Baez accusing George Anthony of molesting Casey Anthony and having an affair during the search for Caylee.
“After I read the discovery and George’s interviews, I thought, “This guy is way too eager to throw his daughter under the bus.”
McKenna’s theory of what happened to Caylee Anthony mirrors Baez’s court defense of Casey Anthony.
“It was an accident that spun out of control and George disposed of the body, but I can’t say exactly how,” McKenna said. “If Casey wanted to be free, she would have dropped Caylee in the pool, called 911 and been a grieving mother.”
VELEZ-MITCHELL: When I was talking spoke to you on the phone, I asked if you had anything new, and you said something that I found pretty significant about the molestation allegations against George. Tell me when you found out about them and whether or not you confronted any family members about them.
MCKENNA: I never confronted a family member. We thought that this had happened. This was learned by the mitigation people, I guess, and probably Jose early on in the case. I interviewed George back in `08 a good number of hours, two or three hours and, you know, I didn`t ever confront him with that.

Wow, he told his daughter to plead not guilty too. Usually this type of case involves forgetting to keep your licence and POI on you, showing them you have one within a certain amount of time and all is good. Hello everybody..wow, what a loooong weekend! Finally settled in my bed, picked up the house, vacuumed, did laundry, etc..kids sure know how to make a mess. Of course it was all worth it. I loved spending time with them. My grand daughter just loves to write. Yesterday while I was washing dishes, getting ready to go to the grocery, she insists on writing the shopping list, so I called out what we needed and she wrote it down on paper along with a check box next to each item. LOL.. Then she tears out a sheet a paper, draws a dollar sign [$] and tells me, “heres the money”.
Geesh, I wish she would have drew me some more those [$] ha! Its that little touch of Autism that she has that makes her such a quirky kid. She’s just adorable and is doing so well. Much better than we ever imagined. She’s a real blessing and she makes me smile.
So I’m trying to catch up with you guys. I read that Baez was a speaker at a lawyer conference of some sort called “Fantasy of Forensics. Cool! He’s a very good speaker, I think he’ll do well.

Now that it appears that Jose Baez is no longer KC’s attorney, I have a question that relates to something I read months ago but I don’t remember where. A poster said that if Jose removed himself from the case and was no longer KC’s lawyer, that he could then be called as a witness in any of her future trials. The person who stated this said that Jose would be just another citizen like you or me. I am not real good with hypotheticals, but I really don’t want to use specifics as some trolls might get distracted.
Okay. Let’s say person “A” has lawyer “B” representing him. Person “C” sues person “A” but the lawyer “B” knows that the entire lawsuit is bogus because of something he learned while being the attorney for “A.” The lawyer “B” can not testify because he is the attorney for “A.”
Could “B” quit as “A”s lawyer, let “A” hire another lawyer and then have the former lawyer “B” testify as a witness on behalf of his former client, “A”?

Omar – Let’s think about another hypothetical. Again, person “A” is represented by attorney “B.” In the course of defending his client, attorney “B” learns that a crime has been committed against his client, but this crime does not directly relate to the case he is representing them for and, in fact, occurred years earlier. Since attorney “B” learned of this crime while researching the other case, could he step down from representing client “A” and then be allowed to testify that a crime occurred against his former client? Just asking hypothetically, of course.

I don’t believe that Baez would be bound to answering anything that is or was attorney-client prilage, whether relating to the crime accused of or otherwise, whether he is still her official attorney or not. He could answer questions if Casey waived privilege, gave permission. But that would be hearsay anyway. Now, if there were to be a trial that involved the question if Melich was told this story early on, maybe he could answer because that is about what he said or witnessed. But even then maybe privelege would come into play since he was acting on Casey’s behalf. The trust between attorney and client doesn’t end when the case is over, I don’t think.
I could be wrong but I don’t think Ashton said that there was anything sealed. When something is sealed there is an order to do so and it would be shown in the clerk’s site. I believe he was referring to what Casey said on October 14 about being molested years before and the drowning. The tape wasn’t rolling through all of it but we caught hints of what was being said. He also talked to George about it to give him the heads up. I think the letter to Casey followed that, the one where he asked her how she could ruin all their lives that way. Maybe his suicide attempt was his 2nd attempt to lay guilt on her. Remember that line to Casey in his letter that seemed to be unfinished? Hearing that opening statement gave that letter a whole new meaning.
Here’s what I’ve found so far, YD:
2. The Witness/Advocate Rule
Can a lawyer represent a client in litigation if a member of that lawyer’s firm might testify in the matter?
This question triggers an application of what is commonly referred to as the “witness/advocate” rule. The witness/advocate rule addresses the effect of a lawyer testifying in one of his client’s cases. Rule 3.7 (a) directs a lawyer to decline a representation of a client where the lawyer would be a necessary witness, unless the testimony comes within three specific exceptions: where testimony would be related to uncontested issues, where testimony would be related to the lawyer’s provision of legal services and where disqualification of the particular lawyer would prove a hardship for the client. Rule 3.7(b) provides, in effect, an additional exception that may arise when the need to testify is not evident until after the representation has begun: The lawyer is permitted to continue the representation even should he learn, or it is obvious, that the lawyer would be called as a witness other than on behalf of his client in pending or contemplated litigation, unless it becomes apparent that the testimony is or may be prejudicial to the client.
In addition to addressing a lawyer testifying in his own client’s case, Rule 3.7 also addresses the propriety of member of a lawyer’s firm testifying in the matter. Under the former Code of Professional Responsibility, the witness/advocate rule was imputed to all members of an attorney’s firm. Thus, if an attorney could not represent a client because of the attorney’s need to testify, no other member of that firm could represent the client. In contrast, Rule 3.7 (c), which became effective January 1, 2000, eliminates the automatic imputing of this conflict to a whole firm. Rather, the new language clarifies that the fact of a firm member’s testifying would only prevent the representation if the situation were prohibited for other reasons, specifically, by either Rule 1.7 or Rule 1.9. Thus, the witness/advocate rule alone does not prohibit one attorney from testifying as a witness in the case of a firm member; such testimony would only prevent the representation where the lawyer has either a current conflict of interest or a conflict of interest arising out of representation of a former client.
3. Disclosing Former Client’s File
What should a lawyer do if he receives a subpoena seeking either his testimony about a former client or the contents of the file from that representation?
A series of LEOs establishes the proper response in this situation. See, LEOs 300, 334, 645, 967, 1352 and 1628. The underlying principle is that an attorney’s duty to maintain the confidentiality of his client’s information survives both the end of the relationship and even the client’s death. Rule 1.6, Comment 22; LEO 1664. Therefore, if an attorney is asked to disclose confidential information about a former client, the attorney must be sure to fulfill his obligation under Rule 1.6 to maintain a client’s confidentiality. While there are exceptions in the Rule allowing disclosure in certain situations, receipt of a subpoena is not one of those exceptions. That attorney should first determine whether disclosure of the information would be favorable or prejudicial to his client. If the former, the attorney should seek client consent to disclose. If the latter, the attorney should move to quash the subpoena, informing the court that the attorney’s ethical duty precludes him from voluntarily disclosing the information requested. If the court rules against the motion and orders the attorney to provide the documents or to answer the questions, the attorney then is within one of the exceptions to the general 1.6 duties. Rule 1.6 (b)(1) permits an attorney to disclose information to comply with a court order.

Florida courts have interpreted FL Rule 4-3.7 to disqualify a lawyer from testifying as a material witness on behalf of the client’s cause. See Springtree Country Club Plaza v. Blaut, 642 So. 2d 27 (Fla. 4th DCA 1994)(attorney who brought personal injury action on behalf of his wife, and who asserted claim on his own behalf for loss of consortium, should have been disqualified from representing his wife or himself); Hubbard v. Hubbard, 233 So. 2d 150 (Fla. 4th DCA 1970)(attorney’s fees should not have been awarded to divorce attorney who testified on merits of the case on behalf of his client); In re Estate of Freeman, 240 So. 2d 656 (Fla. 3d DCA 1970)(refusing to permit executor’s attorney to testify on crucial point concerning his opinion of testamentary capacity of testatrix). Further, the attorney bears the responsibility of anticipating that the client’s cause may require the lawyer’s testimony. In such cases, the lawyer must advise the client to retain alternative counsel. See Florida Bar v. Rosenburg, 387 So. 2d 935 (Fla. 1980)(reprimanding attorney for continuing to represent client after it was obvious that attorney might be necessary witness); Millican v. Hunter, 73 So. 2d 58 (Fla. 1954)(upholding trial court’s refusal to allow plaintiff’s attorney to testify on behalf of client regarding statements made by one defendant to another in presence of said attorney).
Even though the rule refers only to lawyers testifying on behalf of their clients, a lawyer may also be precluded from representing a client when the opposing party intends to call the lawyer as a witness. See, e.g., In re Captran Creditors Trust v. North Am. Title Ins. Agency, Inc., 104 B.R. 442 (Bankr. M.D. Fla. 1989)(disqualifying attorney from representing client where attorney’s testimony was likely to conflict substantially with testimony of his client); Bammac, Inc. v. Grady, 500 So. 2d 274 (Fla. 1st DCA 1986)(disqualifying attorney whose testimony would have caused conflict between his own proprietary interests and his client’s interests). However, an attorney may not be disqualified solely because the opposing party intends to call the attorney as a witness when the testimony in question would not be prejudicial to a client. See Devins v. Peitzer, 622 So. 2d 558 (Fla. 3d DCA 1993)(holding that attorney may not be disqualified from representing estate in will contest merely because contestants announced intention to call attorney as adverse witness where attorney’s testimony would not be contrary to interests of estate); Allstate Ins. Co. v. English, 588 So. 2d 294 (Fla. 2d DCA 1991)(rejecting disqualification of attorney based solely on opposing party’s allegation that it intended to call attorney as witness); Ray v. Stuckey, 491 So. 2d 1211 (Fla. 1st DCA 1986)(holding that attorney may continue representing client until it is apparent that his testimony would be adverse to factual assertions or account of events offered by his client); Williams v. Wood, 475 So. 2d 289 (Fla. 5th DCA 1985)(holding that lawyer may continue representing client where his testimony for the opposing party is not prejudicial to his client.
Notwithstanding the general prohibition against the advocate/witness, FL Rule 4-3.7 does allow an attorney to testify on behalf of a client under the following circumstances: (1) when the testimony to be provided by the lawyer relates to an uncontested issue; (2) when the testimony to be provided by the lawyer relates to the nature and value of legal services rendered in the case; or (3) when disqualification of the lawyer would work substantial hardship on the client. Exceptions are permitted in those cases where combining the role of advocate and witness is not problematic or where a balancing of interests reveals that justice would not be served by preventing the attorney from representing the client. See Beth S. v. Grant Assocs., Inc., 426 So. 2d 1008 (Fla. 3d DCA 1983)(“Plainly, a lawyer is not required to decline employment or to withdraw as counsel in a case because the lawyer will be a witness where, as here, the lawyer’s testimony relates to an uncontested matter which is not prejudicial to client”); Beavers v. Conner, 258 So. 2d 330 (Fla. 3d DCA 1972)(permitting member of law firm representing plaintiff to testify about uncontroverted matters); compare Live & Let Live, Inc. v. Carlsberg Mobile Home Props., Ltd., 388 So. 2d 629 (Fla. 1st DCA 1980)(refusing to recognize justification for continued representation by attorney who intended to testify on client’s behalf where client could find other competent counsel); Draganescu v. First Nat’l Bank, 502 F.2d 550 (5th Cir. 1974)(holding that neither attorney�s ability to speak Romanian language of his clients nor alleged reluctance of other lawyers to take cases involving Romanians on a contingent fee basis constituted substantial hardship to clients which would merit exception to rule). The rule prohibits a lawyer from acting as an advocate at trial if the lawyer is likely to be a necessary witness. The rule does not prevent a lawyer-witness from representing the client in pretrial proceedings such as depositions. Colombo v. Puig, 745 So. 2d 1106 (Fla. 3d DCA 1999); Fleitman v. McPherson, 691 So. 2d 37 (Fla. 1st DCA 1997).
Here’s another little tidbit. I think this means Jose can’t testify against Casey.
Rule 4-1.9 Conflict of Interest: Former Client
A lawyer who has formerly represented a client in a matter shall not thereafter:
(a) represent another person in the same or a substantially related matter in which that person’s interests are materially adverse to the interests of the former client unless the former client consents after consultation; or
(b) use information relating to the representation to the disadvantage of the former client except as rule 4-1.6 would permit with respect to a client or when the information has become generally known. For purposes of this rule, “generally known” shall mean information of the type that a reasonably prudent lawyer would obtain from public records or through authorized processes for discovery of evidence.

Zuben – I think you are correct that the attorney-client privilege does not end when the attorney removes himself from the case. It lasts forever and the attorney could invoke that to refuse to answer a question. What I am wondering concerns any questions asked of him under oath that he could answer that would be to Casey’s benefit. Of course Casey would have to waive the attorney-client privilege for this to take place.
For example, let’s use the Oct. 14 tape you mentioned. What if Baez had learned that there was more to the beginning of the tape than we have been led to believe. Let’s say that there were more questions concerning Casey being molested that she answered, but these are not seen on the tape. It would be to KC’s benefit if Baez could take the stand and swear that there was more to the tape and he saw it and this is what it contained. Again, I just made this whole thing up, so you trolls reading here …………..don’t go back to your little clubhouse and say that Yellow Dog is spreading rumors about the cops erasing tapes, blah, blah blah. We are talking in the abstract.
Zuben – As far as any remaining sealed information. If something was discovered during the investigation that did not directly concern the murder trial but did concern another unrelated case, how would we know? What if the mysterious 2,000 pictures that supposedly made George puke were of Casey dealing drugs or participating in a prostitution ring or leading a pack of geriatric shoplifters or whatever? No direct tie to the death of Caylee could be found but the photos would be helpful evidence in another case LE was investigating. Wouldn’t the pictures just be added to the evidence file of the other, non-related case with no need to seal them, at least not at this time? JMO

Thanks, Omar. So basically, attorney confidentiality continues, even after death, an attorney can testify to anything that isn’t detrimental to or a conflict of interest to his client, past or present, but could be forced, by order of the court to break this trust.
Yellow Dog, I think you are right in that hypothetical. If they didn’t plan to use it against Casey at trial and/or it was an ongoing investigation, they we wouldn’t see it in discovery. I see two possibilities regarding “bad” pictures LE spoke of. 1. They exagerated the fusion pics to have emotional leverage over George to get his cooperation. 2. They saw George’s porn and used that for emotional blackmail to get his extra special cooperation, just like they got extra from TL. The only pics that would constitute an ongoing investigation would be child porn and 3 years is more than enough time to bust that. If it involved Caylee in any way, they surely would use that against Casey and we would have read about it, although would never see the pics.
Your hypothetical got my imagination working. If there were any illegal pics, Melich, Allen and the 2 computer forensic LE, the woman and her boss, would have been the ones to see them. They would surely be breaking the law to not pursue an investigation and charges against the owner of such pics but that would explain George’s behavior. He isn’t concerned enough to call 911 over the smell but then testifies about it before the grand jury, getting a murder indictment against his own daughter. Now, I’m not accusing George of lying to help LE and save his own but without evidence but I can’t get over the computer forensic woman that was accompanied by her attorney when she appeared in court. She must have felt the need to protect herself about something. Was it only because she knew chloroform wasn’t searched 84 times? Was she just overly cautious, no need for an attorney at all?

YEs and what did it for me is when George reported the gascans stolen, and by chance he had to make sure a piece of the infamous duct tape was on there too to further the “Suspicion” Stolen gascans plus duct tape must mean GUILT! The straw that broke the camels back IMOO

And do you remember greta van sustern did a walk thru at the Ant’s house? Cindy walked her thru the house, Caylee and Casey’s bedroom, the pool, the backyard then lo & behold Georgie leads greta to the front of the house to push his gas can story. I almost choked on my coffee when he announced he made a police report.
Like you… I’m thinking “why” Why worry about effing gas cans when you haven’t seen your grand daughter in over a week? Ridiculous.. that’s when I knew there was something rotten in Denmark.

There’s no way in the world I would allow a post that outted someone’s identity and then to allow others to continually brag about it for weeks and months later like they scored a freaking touchdown. Despicable.
NTS – There was a time when Hal’s blog was a source of some valuable information and interesting discussion, at least for me. Those days have long passed and it has devolved into a hangout for failed comedians and internet bullies. I continue to read there but have learned which posters to skip over as they contribute zero and just take up space. I’m sure you know those I am speaking of.
I used to post there once in a while (under another name) but became tired of my posts never showing up or sitting in moderation for hours when I had done nothing to violate the TOS and realized it was futile. I am certain it was intentional and intended to discourage me from questioning the “facts” espoused by any of the “regulars.” I stopped posting there so I guess it had its desired effect.

I agree with you. I’m with GasCanGeorge.. I don’t know why LP made that statement on the NG Show..on Dec 8th, he says “what if they already have a body..” <- paraphrasing. Then lo and behold, Dec 11th they find Caylee. That blew my mind.
It got me wondering.. Did LE already have a body? And if so, why would they not announce it?
Maybe TM searched that area thorougly and LE knew it…Then maybe they searched again in Oct or Nov and the body appeared. Would LE keep silent, knowing that this would help Casey?
Or maybe LE set up a video camera in the woods to see if anyone would come back??

I saw that show too, and I could never fully forget him saying that. What could possibly have compelled him to say such a thing on Nat TV? That could have gotten him in some trouble so you'd hope he had good reason, right?
IRC, he said something along the lines of "I have reason to believe they have already found a body"… Maybe not those exact words, but close, and he said it w/an air of authority, as if he knew something the world did not and he wanted to show that off, being the weirdo that he is.
So one of my little theories has always been that the body was discovered or placed there, possibly after DC's last search in November. My idea is that they did not claim the body had been found until Kronk "found" it in Dec (possibly as he'd been instructed?) due to the fact that they needed to allow time for the roots to grow and the bones to "settle" and the rest of the "props" to weather some more, in order for the scene to look "authentic". The other problem LE may have faced is the fact that if the body had not been found there and reported prior to Casey's arrests then there's the big question of how the body got there after Casey had been put away? That would have screwed up some plans, big time, hence the need to make it look like she'd been there for months…
To this day, I still do wonder if those were actually Caylee's remains. I go back and forth. And I just cannot let go of the fact that the shorts were not on the trunk, as they should have been, since they had remained in tact, and, on top of that, they were found in Area A when her pelvic and femur bones were found side by side in Area F. No diaper was found at the scene! They claim to have found what "APPEARED" to be "pieces of diaper or pull-up" but we never saw any proof of it's existence. No shoes, no diaper, no shorts on lower half of the body when it was "dumped"… ?? We can't know if the shirt was even on the body when it was dumped either… So what's all looking like to me, as i've said too many times before (sorry!
), is either she was dumped naked w/the clothes she was taken in after being sexually molested and killed by SOMEONE, or it was set up by GA to look like she'd been kidnapped and molested by a stranger, most likely to cover up that he was the one who had done the afore mentioned. The other thought is that Caylee's body was found in a way that would NOT point to Casey as the killer and so LE had to do some rearranging in order to support their long held, stubborn theory, OR it was not Caylee but they threw in the clothes and other personal items in order to "prove" that it could be none other than Caylee…
W/that last one we have to think about who all had access to Caylee's clothes and belongings, aside from Casey.

Anyone of these people could have taken Caylee's stuff from the house, tore it, rubbed it around in some dirt and viola!
One more thing about the shorts…
When I person dies, or is killed, the body empties it's bladder and bowels shortly after death… Right?
If Caylee had been wearing those shorts, w/no diaper, at the time of her demise, wouldn't there have been some remnants of urine or feces on the shorts when they were found? They may have been out there too long for that to have remained detectable but how about some stains or obvious discoloration on the lower half and back of her shorts?
The discoloration and staining I see in the photo does not show any major inconsistencies, to me:

Not to mention, there should have been some traces of blood, IMO, since the body is assumed to have decomposed while the shorts were still on it… Does anyone recall what the tests showed as far as blood, DNA etc when it came to the clothes?

I just got chills..I don’t think that 4 months would have been too late to detect some kind on bodily fluid on the shorts. I would think there would at least be urine if not feces. Remember the DT sent the shorts in for touch DNA testing. We’ve never heard anything more about that so IDK why??
The shorts are literally ripped from the waistband which concerns me. Shivers.
I think there was a reason Nick Savage, FBI sex crimes was called in early on BEFORE her body was officially found. So think about that one for a minute.

Amen, JB! That part about the waistband being ripped? Interesting and good catch. I had assumed the rips we see in the shorts were due to the weathering and possibly due to animal activity but you might have a very good point there, yes, ma’am.
I know you have been moving onto to new subjects but I am late as seems to be customary for me these past few months. I am still waiting in the back of my mind for something legit to come out on this case, tho.

Between you and Zuben, lol..we would have had this case solved, no trial necessary. LOL
But I’m like you. I don’t think we know the whole Anthony story. I think there’s much more to it than what was presented at trial and it doesn’t just involve the death of an innocent little girl. My gut instinct tells me..there’s a reason Caylee’s death wasn’t reported and not because she was murdered.
So please keep us posted with your latest theories and discoveries. We wanna know! So thanks again for stopping in.
Well I have lost all track of os since the 12.99 fee. lol I guess it had its desired effect. haha. I am concerned about GA though. What father calls the cops when he knows darned well his daughter took the cans? Also, he admitted that it wasn’t the first time. I think it is possible that he called police to document kc to the gas cans. He followed up with pointing the finger at kc throughout the 3 years. Even in the end, he creates a website that ties kc to Caylee in the end. We are still missing pages 2 and 3 from the suicide note. The sunshine law has let us down. Lifetime is giving us Rob Lowe for Jeff Ashton. Snakes always find their way into this story.
