Apparently Casey Anthony’s defense team has spent thousands of dollars interviewing Texas EquuSearch volunteers who searched the same location where Caylee’s remains were found 5 ½ months later by Roy Kronk.
After a long and hard fight put up by the Defense, they were finally allowed to view and take notes from TES records. Once allowed to take notes and actually investigate, they found 32 volunteers who searched this location without finding Caylee’s remains. Just recently, defense attorney Cheney Mason has found 150 other volunteers who may have searched this location as well. It seems like PI Jeremy Lyons has a lot of work to do and is asking for a measly $8,000. Let’s do the math. That’s $53.33 per interview, which is reasonable considering $60 per hour is the average rate for PI’s in the state of Florida. Obviously any investigation of the TES volunteers by the defense is a reason for conflict.
More conflict should be expected at tomorrow’s status hearing. We can expect Judge Belvin Perry to rule on another motion filed by prosecution asking for records of financial agreements between the Anthony defense team and its expert witnesses. Check out the motion below.
http://www.wesh.com/pdf/25878653/detail.html
Attorney Richard Hornsby of WESH.com had this to say regarding this motion.
“It’s going to give them ammunition. It’s also putting the defense and these witnesses on notice to be prepared to answer these questions,” He went further to say the information the prosecution is asking for could help undermine an expert’s credibility. “If they’re not getting paid a standard rate or they came into the case under questionable circumstances, then suddenly they’re in the case for exposure and any of their findings are suspect.”
There’s also another motion Judge Perry may rule on. Defense attorney Ann Finnell has filed a motion asking that information disclosed during the possible penalty phase be sealed. She argues in the motion that the intense media scrutiny has a “chilling effect, with some witnesses becoming reluctant to come forward with information for fear of harassment and stalking. Check out the motion below.
http://www.wesh.com/pdf/25912035/detail.html
The hearing is scheduled for 1:00pm Monday. WESH.com will stream the hearing live.
Good post, JB. I believe the hearing was changed to 1pm. So Hornsby is saying that anyone that would donate their time for the public good and to help in the cause of justice is suspect? What a sad testimony when generosity and humanitarism is regarded as suspicious. That goes to show you how greedy and self serving the majority are, assuming most would agree with him. The hearing should be interesting.
Thank you Zuben,
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be sure to update the time.
I totally agree with your perspective and I think that’s exactly what Hornsby is saying. It’s disheartening to think about but sadly it’s true.
Thanks for all that you do for us here at theJB. You are more than generous and much appreciated. Have a good evening.
JB
Hi guys…I took the prosecutions motion Hornsby’s explanation differently. Anyone’s testimony could be skewed by incentive. It’s happened in too many cases. I would think that looking what’s promised by either side, contractually, would bring up more questions.
The defense could argue the same thing because they didn’t have the exact same funds to hire what the state could afford. Generosity and humanitarianism are one thing but money and promises or a future deal could be another, by example, Dr Lee. One could assume that Dr Lee withheld or destroyed evidence because of what he was being paid. We will never know but the suspicion will live forever.
Ms Finnell is having a tough time trying to find someone other than Cindy, George & Lee to come out of the woodwork to say something redeeming about their daughter. I can’t imagine another reason for lack of interest in talking to Ms Fennill. I’ll be watching tomorrow….I record it to scan for Perry’s rulings. The way he has had to deal with the Sunshine Laws will probably hinder the defense witness list being sealed. The deadlines are drawing near and I expect for Baez to try and get more time….testing Perry’s patience.
Geat article to read about junk science and the conviction of an innocent man.

Good post JB.
damagdpets, intersting article!
yada, yada, yada
45 days for DNA analysis
Defense must finish TES depositions by Dec 30th.
Did I miss anything?? it was short and sweet, just like me
I wished Perry had address what Baez said about the defense not being held to the same standards for discovery as the state, due to work product, etc. I was under that same impression. The defense isn’t the one with the burden of proof, the state is. Baez referred to Ashton’s book (I didn’t realize he’d written one) regarding what Ashton is calling discovery. What I’d like to know too, what does any expert payments have to do with what the state needs to know? If the JAC has an issue, let them deal with that and let the State Attorney worry about proving his case and using tax payers money properly. I would think that is enough to keep him busy. I also thought it was interesting that the defense has asked about communications with experts at depos and the state objected to them asking. Is called hypocritical? Baez said there has been no reports or wining and dining. Perry said they can ask most of this, items 1-4 during depos or with a subpoena, just like they have made the defense do. Perry granted any notes taken and photos taken. If there are no reports then they are to write the subject matter their experts will address, simple as that. They have a 3 week deadline for that. Perry emphasized twice that the discovery rules are not designed to eliminate them doing some of the work for themselves, such as asking them the question they want the answer to. Quite simple. But, if they have been denying the defense the right to get an answer, they’d better expect the same in return. I also thought it strange the way Ashton complained Baez asked for documents that were burdensome for the FBI, etc. The docs they asked for should be standard and available when ever they are called as expert witnesses. How can the experts background, standards used or the dog’s training documentation be considered burdensome? They should already have that compiled. More and more, I really don’t trust Ashton. Did you notice he did all the talking with Burdick remaining quiet? Are they each taking certain parts of this prosecution?
Whether or not there will be a hearing concerning Kronk’s prior bad acts, remains to be seen and decided upon. So, even if his son didn’t give them more ammunition, they still haven’t yet given up the need to bring in his past, quite yet. He said they may need to bring individual things to the court to determine relevance. Perry reminded them of the motion deadline. The hair expert has been removed from the list of witnesses. I would assume he didn’t have anything to add or detract from the state’s report.
During the side bar I could make out enough to know they were talking about the TES volunteer calls. They have until 12/31 to list the TES witnesses and until 3/30 to depose them. I would assume that he told the judge some of the people hung up on them so still need to get a hold of them. That would explain him giving them another month to put the list together. Knowing Perry he probably told Mason if they won’t answer the phone then give give him a subpoena to sign to get the cooperation they need. It sounded like the shorts and bag haven’t even gone out yet, according to what Ashton said.
I just wished these news organizations would cite their source. How many people are allowed in an deposition anyway? When someone says that a source with information of the depo says Laura B changed her story, Changed to what? If she made all of this up and mislead the defense, should she not be in trouble for that? I mean to call JJ and try to pursuade him, to add her team as searchers on suburban? Is that not obstruction of Justice?
Or did they give her immunity?
Or did the main part of her story not change? Just some small details.
I guess we can wait and see if the defense takes her off of their witness list or to see if the State puts her on their witness list. I would think if she really changed her story, that the State will release that depo document as soon as they can.
Ps, there is a huge list of people who have changed their story in this case. go figure
Hi NTS,
Nice to see you again. You’re so right. Stories change on a daily basis according to the media but no proof. It’s all a bunch of propaganda because the media knows anything that would pertain to KC’s innocence doesn’t sell advertising. But all’s not lost yet,
Did you see this yet? Mason says there’s several people who searched the exact area who were under the radar of TES and didn’t see anything.
http://www.wesh.com/video/25952610/detail.html
I guess by Friday when we get the list I can add them to this post “Close but No Caylee”
Hi, nice to be back. Thanks for the link. Interesting.
I agree that only a guilty Kc sells ads. The monster that the media has created makes for a very good read, however in the words of most majority opinion, its unbelievable!!! And that is my point again. The whole story is unbelievable and people should take a real hard look at it.
To wipe up your daughters decomp with a napkin? Qualifies as unbelievable to me
To drive around for 2.6 days with your dead daughter in your trunk? Qualifies as unbelievable to me
To rent a movie about a dead person in the trunk on the same afternoon you alledgedly kill your daughter and leave her in the trunk? Qualifies as unbelievable to me
To apply duct tape one strip at a time while your daughter looks you in the eye? Qualifies as unbelievable to me
The list goes on and if I listen to the media’s side of the story, I have to go to the fiction section
Something that is believable to me is that out of 4000 searchers, 15 to 20 actually went over to Suburban and searched on their own. That makes good math sense. Between the obvious first woods location via car from the house and the searchers venting disappointment that they were not assigned suburban, everyone knew to search Suburban. These searchers are not as meek as the media would like you to believe either. Many searchers have no problem with going into the water and turning over trash bags, they were not there to look pretty, they were there to find a child.
I am not sure what the defense is up to playing down the RK thing now, but Jb said something about maybe revisiting it at a later time. Any ideas anyone?
Hi all..I just watched the hearing..I was working earlier. Funny how the media twists things!
I read prior to watching the video that the Perry was making Baez turn over reports, photos,
notes etc. As though he was not judging in their favor. However, even after Baez said he
didn’t object to that, Perry left room for him to object. Perry gave him another opportunity
to debate it. And Baez is like no, thats fine. LOL I have no problem.
Had Baez really wanted to argue it, if
he thought he should, I honestly think Perry would be inclined to rule in his favor.
But the media made such a deal LOL like poor Baez, when in reality.. Baez was fine with it.
Judge Perry gave them 40 minutes..IMO Perry went through the legal procedures..but
already knew how he was going to rule. He knew how much time he would need.
The judge had done his homework and was ready to site cases to Ashton, who wouldn’t put it down LOL..None the less, the judge said NO that was not the case he was referring.
Baez has much more respect I feel. Ashton can be rude.. interrupting, and talking over people. I have noticed that before. Yes, Burdick was quiet. I think that is the first time LOL. I recall
that although a team..they are handling different parts. But even if Burdick wanted
to say something, I think she refrained..I think she could see they were not going to get
what Ashton so confidently IMO asked for. IMO he did speak with confidence in the beginning
of addressing the motion, like it was a slam dunk. When it wasn’t he kind of reminded me
of Burdick last time PMS Jb..lol So he brings up the hair forensic..Anything to keep
the public going.Ashton brought up the hair..only to make it “public record” as Baez had told him
already in “private” he says. LOL He wanted everyone to know. Well I agree Zuben
I don’t think he had anything to add or detract. But Ashton wanted to make that point.
The judge generously, had given him 2 weeks to provide what each expert
was doing in the case, and 3 wks to present the other..photos..notes whatever.
Ashton whined some more..and Baez quite courteously says no problem..I can
get that to you Friday LOL.
I also agree the burden is on the state. They are the ones with the burden. The defense
has to prove elsewise. The state is using tax payers $$ and they don’t need to show
proof of the govt employees. And to bring up meals..expenses etc. There are many
write offs with the state and govt for wining and dining, travel, whatever they can find
to write off.
Also the tax payers are supporting Casey right now and for the last 2 years.
If she is found not guilty…Well then.. I suppose then tax payers can bitch about the state?
How about the expense of 250+ exonerated prisoners cost of 20 yrs in prison to find
they were not even guilty. Lets figure, $$ spent to prosecute them, house them, meals,
and RESTITUTION in the end. Bitch about that! No..people turn their heads and don’t
want to think about that. But as time goes on the possibility and probability become
greater that anyone could be effected..Because it has gotten so out of hand!
I read the
article damagdpets posted..I also read another..I would have to find the link. That now
says ..oh yeah..It was in the Orlando sentinel last week, maybe Tue I think, There was one item on Monday’s agenda: eyewitness mistakes. It is the No. 1 contributor to wrongful convictions, according to the Innocence Project, a national organization that works to free the innocent.Eyewitness mistakes contributed to the convictions of 75 percent of both groups.
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/crime/os-innocence-tampa-20101122,0,5572885.story
It’s an idea that’s overdue, since Florida has an alarming number of wrongful convictions — something that is not only morally intolerable,” but that also wastes taxpayer money and allows the guilty to roam free”
http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2010-04-03/news/os-scott-maxwell-innocence-040410-20100403_1_haridopolos-wrongful-convictions-innocence
Jb or I may have already posted this link ahttp://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2009-12-20/news/os-scott-maxwell-innocence-commission-12-20-09_1_now-notorious-dog-cases-dog-handler-innocence-projectbout the dog handler
Sorry, the more I am exposed to the innocent in prison, the more I become an advocate
LOL
I think the motion was a weak attempt to gaining more information. I agree that Ashton was hypocritical and was not justified in asking for some things. He also said some
of the reports or whatever could be work product..but he would leave up to the court
about that. Then later says, no no,, I don’t want any work product. Of course he does,
that was the whole point..to get as much info as he could,, including expenses!
Ashton also brought up the Frye hearing. From what he understood, the defense is planning on challenging the use of the decomposition odor base… only data to data base not the testing procedure….So he wanted to know about experts or witnesses the defense would be using, so he could prioritize. I think that was to get it out in the public as well. That Baez was not debating the testing procedure! But, Baez agreed again, to discuss how the hearing would be held.
I am sure the interenet bloggers are blazing tonite that Baez’s theory of Kronk went to shit
with the son maybe not backing him up. And LB alledgedly changing her story etc.
He said he wanted to wait and see what was relevant closer to trial.
But guess what..maybe he doesn’t need them??? He has 15-20 people who say they
were in the exact location and there was no body! And we of course do not know what
other evidence he has.
Like you Zub..sometimes I go on and on LOL But not always having the time..and always
having so many thoughts about this case..It is hard not to LOL
GREAT post notthatsmart!!!!
I was really hoping Judge Perry would address Finnell’s motion regarding the defense witness list. Now with Cheney’s new claim, it seems reasonable. Look what happened to Laura Buchanan and how she was looked over with a microscope. We, the general public don’t know what type of harassment this woman went through with the media or maybe SAO investigators. I’m sure they did a background check, etc. Not everyone wants their background checked and publicized like it’s done in Florida. So, I wouldn’t be so quick to think it’s the defense team that’s the problem.
BTW, didn’t she approach the defense team first? Just a thought.
NTS,
My sentiments EXACTLY!! I find the whole enchilada simply UNBELIEVABLE!!
NTS,
Kronk? IMO, he’s got two choices. He’ll either tell this incredible story how LP, LE, and ALL the Gods that Be, got together and planned his discovery of Caylee for December 11th.
Or “hahaha’ I hate to think about it but why does a man pee anywhere near a possible crime scene? Is that to explain why his DNA is hanging around. Not that urine carries much DNA but he doesn’t know that.
This is a Catch 22.
Thanks Snoop and good post yourself
I see the defense is talking to the press again. The silent period caused for a lot of speculation that the defense had given up. I just watched wftv raw video post hearing and I just wish some of the other reporters would push Kathy B out of the way and ask questions themselves. Its like they are afraid of her. I want to hear other reporters questions by golly
Why is it that Marinade can chat with Ashton, but Kathy B never ask Ashton questions? sorry for ranting. lol
Snoop says

I agree whole heartedly. from Wesh.com quote:
Perry said he will require the defense to turn over notes taken by the experts along with any photos and video they’ve taken. The defense will also be required to give prosecutors information about what field each of the experts will be addressing. Sorry, I misunderstood, but I guess fair is fair.
But you’re right..fishing expedition. Judge Perry had ruled before he got to the courtroom. There would be no discussion about the money. He said something about leaving that up to JAC.
I read something today and I can not find it or I would provide a link. It was a take from a former Prosecutor about the state being able to hold evidence if the family members are in danger. She went on to say that there were several exceptions to the sunshine law when it comes to disclosing things to the public. She also went on to say if you really want to examine it, to look at what isn’t there or what is missing. Her example was that the state tested Caylees hair for a particular type of drug that pedafiles and sex offenders use on victims to keep them awake, but subdued. The test came out negative, but the catch is, that it is much more reliable to test the bone marrow for the same thing. Her point was that you do not see a bone marrow test for the same drug. In the end she points out that it is not the whether or not the test would be positive or negative, but it is that they tested it. She said that they don’t run such test without reason.
I have always wondered why Caylees shorts were not damaged from decomposition fluids like the tshirt was. Both made of cotton. The shorts off to the east and the pelvis in an different area. The med examiner said bones were dragged by animals prior to disarticulation indicating that decompsing was not complete. How do you move the pelvis or that area of the body, without moving the shorts with it? Furthermore, the tshirt appeared to me to be more of a bedtime shirt and not something Caylee would wear out in public. The picture of her in that shirt is in someone’s bedroom, no shoes, it was bedtime in my opinion. There is just something about the crime scene that does not seem to fit a mother dropping her dead child off. I would love to hear a proffessional take on this. MOO
I editted for you. Please let me know if this is correct.
Very good point NTS,
Interesting..I’ll check this out too. Please keep us posted if you find anything more on the subject.
I wonder if Casey was ever considered to be in danger. She did spend a lot of time with Baez when she was out on bail?? Hmm..
Thank you.
NTS,
I believe you and Zuben are on the same page when it comes to the pedophile possibility.
Good morning all. NTS, I think that the fact that Nick Savage was on scene is a hint that someone must have suspected that a pedophile might be involved. But, in an attempt to remain objective I need to point out that alprazolam is Xanax. Yes, this group of drugs is popular with pedophiles because it helps the victim be cooperative while not rendering them unconscious. But they may have been checking for it due to the big deal they made over the Xanex comment and all the Xanex-Zanny the nanny comments. The tox report is on doc page 6474-5. It does say they tested the bone and marrow specifically for alprozolam, as well as any legal or illicit drugs and none were found. Yes, they likely would need to have cause to test or include drugs in the search warrant but the computer fragment about Xanex would be just cause.
I had a wild thought when realizing the 1st search warrant for the A home was executed just days before Kronk’s 1st series of calls. LE had access to the home and garage where the bag would have been stored. I know it isn’t on the list of items took but if anyone wanted a bag from the home, there was a good opportunity. It can’t be matched to the other laundry bag but they did have that style of bag at one time. That could be the bag from the home if it wasn’t sold at a garage sale. It’ll be interesting to see what the DNA test shows, if anything. If it was a pedophile like Reyes, he might have taken tape and a bag to subdue her and carry her away. If Casey was panicked and scared that her parents would never forgive her for not watching her more closely she might have went into escape mode.
But, another plausible theory, if Caylee’s father is alive, is that Casey really did attempt to get assistance, as reported in the tips, they told her that she’d have to give up the father’s name so they could go after him for child support, Casey told him and he took Caylee. Snoop, do they have that rule in Florida? I would think if this were true that Casey would have told Beaz, even if not the police. But, if the guy is powerful and dangerous they might need to keep it quiet until they could get the evidence they need, especially if the guy was LE, which is not unbelievable, since she was intimate with at least 2. Actually, I guess it was 1 and 1 trainee. Someone powerful in the Orlando underworld might be possible too. It would have been too easy for Casey to get assistance and child support so there would have to be a good reason why she opted to leave the dad out of their lives. Again, I’m wondering what the question asked by Lee, was it like the other time, meant.
Hi Zub..out the door..but You brought up Lee “Was it like the other time” or last time…
I have been looking for that of recent. I can not find the conversation. If you have
please send me a link..TIA
Okay Zub, I found the link. I guess she was talking about benzodiazepines. Here is the link.

I think the story is from june 09. Please read and comment. She may not have been aware of the xanax. thanks
Hi, Zub, sorry if this comes out twice. Here is the report that I was looking at. benzodiazepines is the drug she was talking about. Interesting read and so are a couple other stories by her.

notthatsmart, Thanks for the links. There were some good points brought up in the articles. I never did buy the scenario of the Anthony’s being in danger. In all the interviews there is not a lot mentioned unless it was what Casey told her mom. If LE or the FBI had any concerns…it didn’t show up….so I kind of let that go to the curb. I just finished listening to Cindy’s LE’s interview again. She was going on and on about Zanny’s car accident and being in Tampa General. More about Juliet and Raquel, all coming from Casey who was in another town but by cell records put here in the Orlando area. Even with the knowledge of KC’s where abouts, Cindy continues with her stories that are way out there considering the facts.
Seeing KC in court and how she never acknowledges her Mom and George does not show up brings a question to mind. I always thought it strange that KC cancelled visits with her family. I have been wondering if the defense might use Cindy or George for reasonable doubt. In an TV interview Cindy said KC would have to have help. Makes me think of the accident scenario and the parents help clean up. I have to say that is a little more plausible than Kronk breaking into the A’s home and taking a bunch of stuff and doing the deed.
The thing that rolls around my mind is the doll and the blanket…..it’s too personal. In other cases of this kind it’s a family member because of the personal things.
Morning D. The personal items would lead one to a more personal connection to the victim unless Caylee was left with someone and had her personal items with her. A murderer wouldn’t hold on to those items unless something is kept as a memento, like some serial killers to. The problem I have is that her most treasured possession, the momma doll, was still in the car. We haven’t heard any statements that lead us to believe her blanket was something she was attached to, but the doll…We might assume Casey kept it as her own memento but if that were the case it would have been in the front seat, not the back, as if Caylee left it behind. When ever I think of that, it makes me think she was taken from the car or else dropped of somewhere only temporarily and never returned to the car. Even if she were planning to leave her over night that doll would have went with her, wouldn’t you think? The back pack wasn’t packed for an overnight either, only a short stay, unless it was just an extra. Actually, the backpack contents seemed understocked to me. I would think there would be a change of clothes, at least, and maybe some kind of snack material. It’s as if things had been taken out. Then to see she had been wearing an old, smaller sized top. Do you know the date off hand, that the pic Rico sold was taken?
This reminds me, I found a thesis back in March, that is quite interesting. It gives an understanding of why a taphonomist is being requested, I think. I’ll share some of it because it relates to the decomposition of clothing and PMI. It comes from your home state, JB, with part of the test being done in Virginia. It was an 8 month study begun in June, how convenient for us. They used a wooded area in both locations, so Sun wasn’t a big factor. Some were buried, some not. It states that adipocere can form there in as little as 2-3 weeks and often preserves clothing somewhat. But, I saw no mention of adipocere being observed on the shorts. If they had been on the body while it was forming, I would assume some would remain on the fabric. Interval 1 is 2 months, 2 is 6 months, therefore in December of that year.
A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE DETERIORATION RATES OF TEXTILES AND THEIR ROLE IN DETERMINING POSTMORTEM INTERVAL
By Kellie Marie Gordon B.A. The College of William and Mary, 2001 May
“The samples were retrieved on December 4, 2002; therefore, they had an
approximate PMI of six months. The soil was completely saturated, and at times, I
shoveled through water. The Pig II specimen had been reduced to bones and adipocere;
no semblance of the carcass remained. When cleaning the fabrics in preparation for
microscopic examination, the adipocere crumbled off in a cloud of dust. No skin tissue
remained, as with the Fredericksburg sample. Extreme caution had to be exercised when
cleaning the cotton otherwise the fabric would tear. Adipocere also crumbled off in a
cloud of dust, as with the polyester.
Microscopically, all the polyester samples featured only slight change from the
control sample; therefore, little, if any progression in deterioration from the Interval I
samples had occurred. The cotton samples had suffered a much greater level of
deterioration, especially the Fabric II sample, which had undergone approximately 90%
disintegration. This compared to only 10% disintegration of the Fredericksburg Fabric II
cotton. The Baton Rouge surface fabric had disintegrated by nearly 50%.”
Notice the mention of adipocere on the fabric and that the cotton was more severly disintegrated in Baton Rouge, which is more similar to Orlando. Again, I have to conclude the shorts were not in direct contact with the body the way the top was. But, this raises the question, should the top have nearly disappeared in 6 months time? I would post the table here but it won’t paste correctly. You can google the title to find the document yourself. It is very interesting reading. The conclusion is that cotton shows marked deterioration after about 2 months, with these conditions. Poly takes 5-6 months before any change is seen with the naked eye so we should be able to see deterioration.. Notice the fabric on the tape. The specs say the warp (vertical thread) is a 65/35 blend of poly/cotton and that is what the forensics show on the piece stuck to the gas can, but yet, not only doesn’t it look like it is 35% disintegrated or missing, the threads don’t look disintegrated at all, to the naked eye in the pics. I can still see the z-twist. Of course, that is much different than seeing the actual threads under a microscope and comparing to a new piece, but still, after 6 months, there should be something noticeable other than the natural rubber glue dissolving.
“The field study also demonstrated that deterioration rates depend largely on the
presence of decomposing tissue and climate. Moisture and RH levels were conducive to
both bacterial growth and hyphae in both locations, but more so in Baton Rouge. The pH
levels were conducive as well because the levels stayed within upper acidic to neutral
ranges throughout the duration of the field study. Increased exposure to moisture is
largely responsible for the increased rate of deterioration exhibited by the samples
independent of decomposing tissue, as opposed to the samples buried with the pig
specimens…In similar conditions, polyester may show slight
deterioration by the end of two months; the change will be difficult to observe because a
forensic investigator will not have a control sample with which to compare the fabric.”
:
Good morning. the Fbi report showed that there was no cotton in the duct tape found with the body and therefore is not consistent with the same source/roll as the duct tape on the gas can.
Many debates and discussions on this subject. The majority opinion says that the cotton disintegrated while exposed to the elements. There is nothing in the official documents that says the cotton disintegrated or deteriorated. The cotton poly blend was protected by glue before it was exposed to the elements, but many believe that the sides were exposed and the cotton absorbed the water. As it stands right now, the fbi reports say the duct tape is consistent with coming from a different source/roll. The henkel or shurtape person provided a document for model fd 30? and it showed it was made with cotton/poly blend, but it does not say that it was actually that model. These duct tape manufactures including shurtape do manufacture industrial strength tape without the cotton for obvious reasons. Different fire codes different firegaurd tapes.
The cotton tshirt appeared to be deteriorated in the photo, but I can not tell if it just rolled up or what. If it is that stretchy type of material, it could just ball up like that once torn. The shorts look to me to be in great shape and I do agree that the shorts would have been deteriorated like the shirt if she was wearing them.
I find winnie the pooh blankets to be very common. We have had a few over the years. Many of my family members have had them in their households and still do to this day. I am pretty sure that is Caylee’s blanket, but I am open minded to other options.
I can not for the life of me figure out why Kc would take Caylee’s shorts off and put them beside her. I find these clothes to be bedtime clothes. The shirt is not something to be worn in public and the one picture we do have of her in a shirt like that, she was in a bedroom. I believe Ricardo’s pictures are from Feb 08. I found the D font on the shirt in Ricardo’s pic to be different than the D font in the crime scene photo’s. Most have argued that it was just animals that chewed the corner off of the D. At anyrate, if it is the same shirt, then If I were the police, I would want to search Ricardo’s room as a precaution. She was also found with no shoes. Where are Caylee’s shoes?
I would really like to do an analysis of this. If she killed her at home, did she take her shoes off and then transport her? Did she carry the shorts with her and then take them off once at the crime scene? Did she remove the shorts at the crime scene? If she was in Cassleberry walmart that day, I would think she would have shoes on. Where are the shoes?
Also, is it normal for animals to drag bones toward the water and deeper? Why not away from the water? MOO sorry to be ramlin on. lol
Agreed, that tape was from a different lot than the tape found on the gas can. If Henkle specs say it was to have a warp consisting of poly/cotton and it didn’t, then whoever manufactured their fabric likely ran out of the proper threads and rather than shut down the machines, simply put in the poly threads so they could continue their run without interruption. Often the purchaser would be non the wiser, unless, of course, it ends up becoming evidence in a murder case. The shorts wouldn’t be as disintegrated as the top because they were a heavier weight fabric but they should have been more rotted than they were. I’ve wondered why they didn’t even ask Ricardo if that top was left as his place and when the last time he saw it was. Did I miss that question? If he is going to get paid for the pics at least he could answer a couple of questions. I agree, and have asked the same question, where are the shoes? In my home, no one wears shoes but I noticed in most pics of Caylee, she has shoes on in the house, but not all. Of course, if she were away from home she would wear shoes, unless she were in someone’s home for a period of time. The only way I can imagine she died without her shorts, and Casey is responsible, is if she went into a rage because Caylee took off her pants and pottied on the floor or if she did it in her pants, Casey took them off then beat her to death, which isn’t likely. There would be some sign of trauma to the bones, in that case and besides, there still isn’t any evidence to connect her to the body at the remains site and there is evidence left by someone else. That is going to be the state’s greatest obstacle unless they somehow select a jury that only judges by Casey’s post disappearance behavior and ignores all the facts related to Caylee and Suburban drive. That would require being driven by emotion rather than balancing that with logic, IMO.
The document I quoted, says that the fabric that scavengers got a hold of was carried very far away, and one piece disappeared, either taken beyond where they searched for it or was under the season’s leaves. No, they wouldn’t likely take it to water but also wouldn’t likely go closer to the road than she already was. What was curious to me is why there weren’t lots of insects in the fabric. Many critters like to spin their cocoons or lay their eggs in fabric. In never fails, if a piece of fabric gets laid outdoors in my yard, by the time I pick it up to mow, something has made its home on the underside.
Good afternoon everyone,
I have a little theory of my own which is quite simple.
I agree with Zuben and NTS.
I agree, Caylee wasn’t wearing the shorts. The deterioration of the shirt versus the shorts dilemma?? True, this could have occurred because the differences in fabrics, polyester vs. cotton as Zuben has pointed out. I would think cotton being a natural fiber would be more friable than manmade polyester blends.
Having worked in gastroenterology for many years, I can attest to this, the acidity of gastric fluid can be caustic. GERD- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease is when the stomach acid passes the sphincter muscle into the esophagus and burns the esophageal mucosa, e.g. heartburn. This stomach acid can also burn the skin on your outer body as you may know if you’ve ever vomited. You might notice redness around the mouth. During procedures, sometimes small drops of gastric fluid would land on my lower arm and it burns like hell as if you were touched with a match. It would actually leave red dots on my arm.
Without any studies to prove my theory, I’m inclined to think Caylee may have vomited on the front of the shirt at some point. Who knows, maybe this shirt can offer other forensic value such as what she ate. I don’t know for sure but there’s a chance some microscopic substance could be found.
Saying this, I think vomit could account for the major deterioration of the front of the shirt as compared to the shorts. IIRC, some of the letters fell off too.
Very good point Zuben, you would think somebody (LE) would ask Morales if that shirt was left at his house. I certainly wouldn’t want to be the person with the picture of the victim wearing the same shirt she was found in, but that’s just me.
The defense expert witness list has been filed. Some interesting names, including a co-founder of the body farm. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/os-casey-anthony-expert-witness-list-20101201,0,2530773.story
Zub, I read the list this morning and started looking these people up. What a cast of knowledge. I hope Dr. Werner Spitz does not come unglued like he did in the Specter case. It’s been said for quite a while now that this case would come down to forensic testimony. The facts as we knew them in the beginning will be shoved down the drain. I am saying this mostly because Casey will never take the stand. Baez will make the forensics a circus in this case as is his job. The jury will have a lot to digest.
Baez and Mason are asking for more investigative money again. Mason claims 15-20 people and Hornsby does not buy it. I would hope the defense has screened these people to avert coming up with 15-20 Laura Buchanan’s.
http://www.wesh.com/caseyanthony/25977055/detail.html
Yes, it is quite an impressive list. I’m looking forward to all we will have opportunity to learn, forensically speaking. As for Buchannan, we don’t know the inside story yet. All we’ve heard is what the media wants us to believe, coming from their inside source. From what her attorney said, (more reliable than a secret inside source) I can’t yet say she is a dud for the defense. Maybe she is but it really doesn’t make sense she would make up that statement. Now, if she jumped in front of the cameras, sold a pic to the media, etc, then I’d have a different opinion. But what would she have to gain by making up that story, not to mention, swearing to something that isn’t true? She may or may not have stood on the same ground as Caylee was found but I’m reasonably sure she searched in that area very near her. You know, anyone that walked on the grass just outside the tree line stood within, what, 15′ of her, if she was there at the time?
More PI hours. Let’s see, Perry gave him 60 the end of October? So that works out to 2 hours a day. That really doesn’t sound like much, considering all the calling and followup necessary. I have a feeling Perry will give them more.
Hi everyone just popped in for a minute real busy with the holidays but have a question. Do the DT or SAO have to call all the experts and witnesses they have listed or just have them on the list in case they want to call them? Thanks will be reading when I can.
Lol Jeff and Jose are bickering back and forth in emails about the Judges rulings. Lets play fill in the blanks. lol hahahhaha I have to stop filling in those blacked out areas, it makes me laugh too hard. lol
Okay its almost like High School, no Jose, I want you to write it in your own words. lol
But in reality, JA wants JB to give up his strategy. IMO
http://www.wftv.com/pdf/25996756/detail.html
The banter between Ashton and Baez is pathetic. Perry gave his order in court and it was not rocket science. Baez has always had problems with the motions he filed and now he is having a problem with reading them. This should not have to go back to court.
Zub, We may not know the inside story on Buchanan but based on history we know the outside story. Since the beginning of this case Baez has been on camera as much as possible. Him and Mason would gloat about something or clam up if something was wrong.
After the Buchanan interview, they had nothing to say. I feel safe in saying that Buchanan’s interview was of no help to the defense.
Okay, seriously though. Jb layed out what the experts are going to talk about. In general the state has presented its case through the discovery rules. One need only to look at his own discovery to figure out what these experts are going to respond to. The defense is not required to give up its strategy. Jb should be a little more specific but not much. He is bound to help Kc get a fair trial and he is not about to give up his strategy to the State. JA has had an kneejerk reaction here, it is not even Friday yet. He appears to be sweating. IMO If this goes back to court, it is going to make the State look silly. If he wants more specifics, the Judge is just going to tell him to ask at depo. IMO
This email exchange also shows me that Jb is very confident. That there is very little chance that there would be a plea deal in this case. It also shows me that JA is not that confident. IMO
Some of this appearance of weakness must stem from his loss in court the other day and some must stem from these searchers that were on Suburban.
As far as the snarky tone by Jb, well that all started way back with JA and the smirk on his face that many bloggers complained about. Jb simply asked for maps of police searches and LDB told him what maps? google it. So, as far as a smart alecky tone, whats good for the goose is good for the Gander. I personally would like to see kindness coming from both sides. IMO
Interesting. Thanks for the link NTS. While it does seem like bickering, I can see Baez’ point. Perry told Ashton he has to do the work just like any attorney and can ask any question he wants at the depo. He isn’t being quite honest with the judge, saying he redacted extraneous commentary. Just before Baez says to just ask him what he wants to know, Ashton redacted the name of one if his experts, so I’d hardly call it extraneous, if it was about one of the experts Ashton wants to know about. Ashton didn’t ask him a single question, when invited, before deciding to duel it out before the judge. I don’t think that was smart. What is Ashton so worried about? It shouldn’t really concern or surprise him if the defendant’s experts are going to contradict his experts. That’s common sense and should be expected. He wants to know exactly what details they are going to dispute and I don’t think that is what the judge ordered Baez to give him. The botanist will discuss the plants, etc, etc, etc. Ashton could have asked him, is so and so going to dispute the timeline or something similar, but he didn’t. Instead he went tattling to daddy 2 days before the deadline. He acted out of anger rather than reasonableness. I will agree though, that Baez was being a little condescending with the 11:42 am email. But did you notice the first email Ashton listed isn’t the first one or the last one? There was one more following this one at 11:43.
D, did someone try to interview the defense after Buchannan’s depo? If so I missed it and would love to watch it.. If not, then I don’t think I could assume anything. Assuming she did completely back off her sworn statement, what do you think her motive would have been for the false statement? I don’t have a clue.
Inspirational! I’ll add the link for future reference.
LMAO, at 11:42 Baez wrote, “Jeff, you are a real funny guy.” That’s one of the lines blacked out. I guess that isn’t relevant. But the line about Fairgrieve is so why did he black it out? Something else that is odd is that there seems to be two lists. One place he has Richard Eikelenboom anthropologist/taphonomy but another has him listed for DNA. Does he specialize in both fields?
hehehe..”Jeff, you are a real funny guy.” That’s classic! I think what Jeffy is asking for is called “work product.” Since he wants to play with an open hand maybe he could enlighten Baez as to what’s his game plan, If he has one that is.
diane,
I’m not real sure but I think some of the experts are on stand by and will be called as needed. I’m sure if they testify, there’s a change in their fee.
These are the experts for the defense.
Dr. Henry Lee, the well-known criminalist and forensic pathologist often associated with the O.J. Simpson case. According to his website, Lee is founder and professor of the Forensic Science Program at the University of New Haven. During a 40-year period, Lee assisted with the investigations of some 6,000 cases.
Casey Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez called Lee “probably the world’s foremost crime scene detective.” He will testify about evidence from the recovery scene where Caylee Marie Anthony’s remains were found, Casey Anthony’s car and other areas
Dr. Tim Huntington, an assistant professor at Concordia University, Nebraska, and a board-certified entomologist. Forensic entomology applies the study of insects to a legal context to help establish times of death and postmortem movement of bodies.
Richard Eikelenboom, a renowned Dutch forensic expert who, along with his wife Selma, is a partner at Independent Forensic Services, a Netherlands lab specializing in trace evidence recovery and Touch DNA testing. They are considered pioneers in the field of “Touch DNA.” Richard Eikelenboom is a DNA expert who handles blood-pattern analysis.
Dr. Werner Spitz, from Michigan. Baez called Spitz “the grandfather of forensic pathology.” Spitz, too, has been involved in other high-profile criminal cases. He also conducted Caylee’s second autopsy, Baez reminded.
Dr. Kathy Reichs, of North Carolina; Baez said Reichs is “the inspiration for the television show Bones.” She is a well-known Dr. Reichs is an anthropologist and author.
Dr. Jane H. Bock, of the University of Colorado Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department; Baez said Bock is a “forensic botanist,” one of the most qualified in that field. Bock often works for the prosecution, Baez noted.
Dr. Scott Fairgrieve, chair of the Department of Forensic Science at Laurentian University in Ontario; He is a forensic anthropologist
Dr. Kenneth Furton, of University Medical & Forensic Consultants, Inc., in West Palm Beach. Furton is a forensic chemist;
Dr. Barry Logan of National Medical Services, Inc., in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, also a forensic chemist;
Dr. John Leeson, of Winter Springs, a digital forensics expert
Dr. William C. Rodriguez, of Maryland, another well-known forensic anthropologist and co-founder of the so-called “Body Farm” or the University of Tennessee Anthropological Research Facility, which studies the decomposition of human remains. He is an unpaid consultant.
Dr. Michael Freeman, forensic epidemiologist
Michael O’Kelly, an expert witness out of Nebraska, who specializes in cell phone tower operations
—
Not too shabby, in my opinion.
These are the ones who I think will most likely testify.
just kidding, Zuben.
Dr. Henry Lee – not sure of what he’s going to say. I always associate him with blood splatter but he is a crime scene expert. There’s no way of knowing what he may have found.
Dr. Tim Huntington – he’s the bug doctor who’ll talk about maggots maybe? and the crime scene bugs and their part in human decomposition.
Richard Eikelenboom – “touch DNA” specialist. He’ll tell us what he found on the shorts and laundry bag, hopefully.
Dr. Jane H. Bock – “forensic botanist” who’ll talk about plant life on Suburban Dr. and clarify for all of us that Zuben is right. She’ll stand up and scream “it’s potato vine!”
Now Dr. William C. Rodriguez of the Tenn. Body Farm who’s working pro bono, Interesting.
I wonder when the leaves fall in Orlando Florida. Some are claiming that they don’t fall until December. Does anyone know if that is true?
Since the defense has agreed to turn over any photographs taken of the evidence, I wonder if we will get to see Dr Lee’s photographs of the trashbag contents. He is the one that said on Nancy G that there was food. He also took pictures of the trunk. imo
I am going off subject for a minute..This case has been going on here. I’m not going
to take the time for all the details nor post all the links of the case..But if you have a
few minutes..Please read. This is exactly what we had been talking about with exonerations..
LE coercion ..Which seems to be what has happened as well with some witnesses and police officers in the Anthony case..No DNA…And the woman was to drunk to remember.
Defense attorney Erick Trivedi argued that there was no rape, just a false confession given because of “threats, coercion and bullying” by Altamonte Springs police detectives.
The psychologist, Gregory DeClue, said that during Castro-Molina’s one-hour police interrogation, in English — not his native language — he asserted his innocence 94 times. Police accused him of lying 36 times.
Police also told Castro-Molina they would help him if he agreed with their version of events. But if he did not, they’d put him in jail and take away his 8- and 11-year-old children, DeClue said.
The woman, a 27-year-old accountant, testified that she’d had at least 10 beers that night, blacked out and has no idea what happened.
She went to a Longwood hospital, and an exam found no evidence of injury and none of Castro-Molina’s DNA, according to Altamonte Detective Alphonso Williams.

4:22 p.m. EST, December 2, 2010
SANFORD – Jurors today acquitted a 34-year-old man of raping a woman whom he found drunk and unconscious, parked on the side of Interstate 4, but they convicted him of kidnapping.
The only evidence that she was raped came from a statement Castro-Molina gave Altamonte detectives that morning.
It was a false confession, Trivedi told jurors, obtained by coercion and harassment.

I believe this is the laundry bag in place with the black bag with yellow handles next to it. Not entangled as the Medical examiner described it at the office. IMO

Does the surrounding area look like reverse vegetation?
This photo shows how close to the road. IMO

NTS Just depends on the tree. Our oak trees drop leaves and acorns. But we have many
tropical trees that do not..
Here is the path as you walk in, you can see the kindercare sign on the ground and the log where Caylee’s skull was found jurt inches north west of the end of it. IMO

Here is a good photo showing all the flags indicating this was the primary spot of decomposition (AREA A) Very very close to the road. IMO
http://media.myfoxorlando.com/photogalleries/021809remainsfoundOCSOpictures_set4/1/lg/196497.htm
Thanks a lot NTS..these pictures are great. This is the first time I’ve seen them and the remains were very very close to the road IMO2.
From what I can tell, the path looks well travelled and obvious opening into the woods. The Kindercare sign is right there and the log is right beside the path. I can see all of this from the 5 foot strip along the road way in the pictures. I do not know for the life of me how Officer Cain could have missed this. While RK is supposedly standing right there pointing it out. There are leaves everywhere, so obviously fall had begun by dec 11. Keep in mind also that Susan Mears reported that Steve Hanson moved the log back, but I am not sure when and these photos are taken right after the body was removed from what I can tell. IMO
NTS..thanks for the pics. I agree with all!
Didn’t get in til late evening. Just read the emails and motion. I guess I misunderstood if Ashton is right. First of all Perry gave Baez 2 wks. When Ashton started whining Baez says no
problem, I will get it to you by Fri. Second of all, I don’t remember(tired) the witness..but
I was under the impression that Ashton was complaining they thought one of the experts
was testifying about one thing..and it turned out to be about another field. So I was
under the impression that Baez was to generalize what field each would be testifying. Not
the particulars.. not the “Work product”..
Boy Ashton is coming unglued IMO.
NTS says(snipped)

Snoop, thanks for sharing that article. This really caught my eye, “After Castro-Molina repeatedly said he did not rape the woman, Detective Kevin Acosta told the defendant that if he said that one more time, he’d throw Castro-Molina in jail, according to a recording of the interrogation, which was played for jurors Tuesday.” Another example of misuse of power. Yes, it does look suspicious that he was in the back seat with her but there was no evidence he raped or kidnapped her. Even the girl can’t say he did. They also said he understood English at the level of a 6 or 8 year old. Well, I’m off to bed for the 2nd time. Woke up and couldn’t sleep.
NTS, Really appreciate the pictures and your comments on them.
Thanks for the article and I don’t understand why he got a kidnapping charge.
Me neither !
Okay, I do not know for sure how to explain this other than for every action there is an reaction. If one were to produce a report full of if’s, maybe’s could be’s and disclaimers, how would one know what the opposition is going to refute? Garbage in Garbage out. It seems to me that Dr Vass, Dr Haskell have produced reports with disclaimers in them and upon cross they agree that it could be from something else, then the defense is open to making suggestions. This is what JA is looking for. IMO He knows his experts have not committed to any of this because of the disclaimers. The defense put in a motion a long time ago asking what is it that they were suppose to refute? I think once the defense establishes that the state has no idea what happened, they will insert Dr Lee and he will point out the details at the crime scene that lead to clues. He is very good at leaving opinion out and letting the Jury decide, but he is very good at pointing things out that many do not see. IMO
Hi all.. I, as well as others here, I think assumed sidebar at the trial Mon. was about
the searchers. I knew Casey was really excited, smiling, laughing, and a facial expression of genuine approval. I thought perhaps the defense did a surprise effect of announcing searcher witnesses at side bar.
But it turns out, although it was a surprise, that one of his law clerks..whom has been
working very hard for KC for 2 yrs. was surprised and sworn in to be a lawyer by Judge Perry.
I agree with the link I am posting here. When I seen the genuine warmth and facial expressions
of Casey while they were at side bar..it reminded me of some of the pictures of her with Caylee. She loved Caylee and was genuinely showing of it. Not to mention the proud looks.
Also, it reminded me of something else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The day I saw her and Caylee in the Albertsons/publix grocery store in July. When Caylee
began speeking to me..Casey stepped to the side of the grocery cart..looking at Caylee..Smiling in the exact same way as depicted in the photo! She let Caylee be her own person and carry on the conversation with me. She had already introduced Casey to me..when she told me Casey
also had a tattoo(Caylee had a play tattoo as well on her hand. )Again Casey smiled in the exact same way. Proud, she was.

Hi Snoop,
Thank you guys for that.
Well, I for the 1st time agree with Dr. Glass. Casey’s does have a genuine smile. I’m glad you were able to see this smile in person. That’s probably why you don’t believe this young mother murdered her baby.
Initially when I looked at old pictures of Casey and Caylee, I saw a proud, happy Mom and a happy little girl. When I read on blogs what others thought of her, I was baffled by their impression of Casey. It was my daughter who is a couple of years older than Casey who said to me, “Mom, this girl didn’t kill her daughter” “most little skanks with babies hide the fact that they have a child. She’s flaunting 1,000 pictures on mySpace of her kid!!”
Between my daughter’s statement and what I saw in the pictures, I believe that’s when I looked at this case differently.
Also, it seemed like everyone on the blogs were taking everything they read in the press as truth!! I’ve never been a person to believe everything I read..especially in this case that was going viral on the internet. I just had to step back and form my own opinion based on the documents. It took me 2 years and me creating this site to find others like me. I feel so blessed to know I’m not alone.
What’s happening now is that those who haven’t yet formed an opinion are now not afraid to state it here. People might not comment but they are reading and that’s a good thing. This solidifies my belief that people can be fair-minded and unbiased, even in the murder of a innocent child. For awhile there, I was losing hope.
Snoop, I’m glad you’re here. Do you remember what was on the play tattoo? Just curious..I hope at trial you’ll be able to tell your story.
Notthatsmart,
After reading your comment, I began to realize just how inane Jeff Ashton’s motion really is. Here’s a prosecutor who knows what the forensic findings are against Casey Anthony. It’s ridiculous for him to ask in a motion as to WHAT the defense experts will say.
Hellooooo.. just a hunch, I think the DEFENSE experts are going to dispute the STATE experts testimony?? That’s just common sense. I’ve never heard of such garbage. It is comical to say the least.
Hi JB..Yes, It would be the first time I was in agreement with Dr. Glass as well. No, unfortunately I do not remember the tattoo. But, I did just track down my friend’s
facebook. He had moved to Arizonia. If you recall, I had related to his son(Casey)..that I had met a
Caylee on the plane to MI june 29th and then again at the publix in Sanford, within a week or
so time but this time her mother’s name was Casey.
As all this happened June 29th – July 11th. But most likely somewhere around July 7th at the store. I take care of a pet with the name Cali(short a) and I thought that is what she was saying.
The boys were being bored and unhappy about moving..I told Casey the story as he was
always intrigued by coincidentals. So I told him Caylee (thought Cali) and Casey of course being his name. He was like wow weird LOL..
Of course, I did was not even aware of the case, even in Fl..because I had so many personal
things going on..watch very little TV and do not get the paper. I basically use my internet
for anything I am interested in. It was my 84 yr old mother that brought to my attention..weeks later.
I had sent out a money gram on that day..and if on line I would have been able to track the
date..but I can not. So I just contacted my friend. I am trying to find the date..as it would
have been the last day he was in his home..as I was helping them move. The parents divorced after that and went seperate ways.. We lost communication. So i have just
located him and sent him a message . Hopefully he will get back soon.
It has haunted me madly!
Oh my Snoop,
I can just imagine. It would haunt me too. I can understand since you mentioned the coincidence with your friend named Casey and ironically the dog named Cali. I see myself remembering this very well, just like you.
It’s good that you found your friend in Arizona so he can back your story. I find it quite believable. If you get the support from your friend about this, I would definitely go to Baez or Cheney with this if you haven’t already.
Ok Jb good news for me..I just spoke to Moneygram..I was misinformed..I am able to
get the transaction date! I will fill out the form on line and fax to them for a 20.00 fee they
will send me the date. It will take aprox. 10 days.
Since I never heard back from LE I have to assume they did not work it? I have looked through
the tips that I can find numerous times and have not seen it. But I don’t know if I have a complete list.
Whatever, for my self I need to know! If I have the exact date..maybe I can go from there.
Good Snoop. I’m happy to hear this. It’s a shame that it’s going to cost you money when LE or some other concerned party could do it for nothing. What’s wrong with checking out your story? I don’t understand this. In any case, if I were you, I’d want to KNOW too.
Wow Snoop, I think this is very important. Did you check Cindy’s checks? I thought I saw a check written to Albertsons in there. Is Sanford way north? Is it near Cassleberry? Is it as far as Mt Dora?
Now also Casey told Matthew Crisp on the July 7th, by his process of elimination, that
when seeing Casey at Subway in Winter Park that Caylee was in Sanford. He said she told
him that she was having a play date. Now Casey’s cell pings do not show any Sanford areas.
But Sanford is not close proximity to any of her friends, her home, social activities etc. Probably around 40 min from her parents..but taking the 417 from Winter Park Subway is 26 minutes. It is the only time Sanford is mentioned. It is not a place where
she would have reason to travel to for no reason. There is nothing of interest there ..There is No night life. So If Caylee was not in Sanford..and it not being
a city Casey frequented. Why would she come up with that to Crisp? It is a highly unlikely area that would hold ANY interest for Casey.
But, none of it makes any sense. Because of the story she told. The timeline etc. so I just
figured It had to be a mother and daughter with the same names, same ages, that looked unmistakably
like Casey and Caylee twins LMAO
This is the map from Subway to the store

NTS, yes it is near Cassleberry..I will give you a link. If you use the slider and put mid region
you will see Mt Dora as well. Now the map is just showing in general but no specific address
for Cassleberry ..some areas of Cassleberry or Mt Dora would be within say 15 min. I couldn’t wait for the checks to come out! I looked but didn’t see anything. It was Albertsons first and then Publix took them over. But at the time it would have been Albertsons. However, after sending the wire on the way back..I did also stop at the Publix as an
after thought to get something to drink.
I discussed sighting in an earlier post with all the details etc. here..but don’t know under
which subject. But NTS, I did make a tip..It was extremely difficult..to get anyone..I believe
I ended up emailing OCSO and the tip line area had a tip email or Crime line. I called several
numbers that had recordings and such. However, I never heard anything back from anyone.
As the case progressed..none of it made sense.. But continued to haunt me. So that is when
and why I began researching as much as I could. I never posted anywhere..because people
were so naive and prejudicial in regards to the case and facts etc. So I was on my own.
One time I typed in google as I often did with poor results..about Casey being innocent. I came across a post by Zuben. I was like WOW someone besides me is questioning. So I emailed who evers blog it was and said how do I find him..and they gave me JB’s website.
That has been this last year. Which has been helpful! I have been so thankful to have
people here that have been exploring and researching as well. You know I figured maybe
someone looked it all over and discredited or something. But, it has haunted me since I realized..and I am so sure that regardless of what happened in the end..I am quite sure
it did not happen during their time frame !
OOPs link..Take the slider on left to the middle of region

Well Jb, it is not like I did not give them the tip! Which was not easy in itself..After finally, making the tip I heard nothing. I assumed they followed up and I was wrong? So I wait for HOW LONG for the tips to come out. First it was the physics. Now I have looked at some tips..but
I don’t think I ever found a full list. But never seen mine. I guess I assumed at some point that
LE knew better than I where she was and when. It has been discovery for me as well..waiting
for documents..phone pings..clues etc. So I just rode the tide out as well waiting. Assuming it had been checked. The tips I read some where followed up some inconclusive. They did not get back with all those people and tell them the results of the investigation. And I did not expect that either. So I just assumed someone seen mine somewhere. By the time evidence of tips and such were released and I did not know if they followed up or not. It was a little late for them to go get a video or something. So other than contacting Baez whom may knowing a different story from Casey than what we know right now..it may prove to be helpful..but I honestly do not think LE would do anything. What should I have done..called them and say I never heard back on my tip. Can you go through them all and tell me what you did? And do you think LE would pay to see what date I sent a wire at a store claiming to see them? I don’t. Baez, as I said, if it fit into something he knows that we all do not know
then maybe it would be helpful. But basically I did make the tip. What they did with it I don’t know. But YES, I do want to know,,and it has not been easy playing the waiting game and
looking in to all the possibilities..and why she would say what she said if she indeed had
Caylee with her at that time for that time. Where was she. If she was in Sanford where was she. Yes, all that I would like to know. And although I see great importance I dont think
LE would do anything do you? I can write Baez and tell him..And if he feels it is of importance he can let me know one way or the other?
You know, there could be others that seen her and tipped and feel the same way. Or maybe
a tip from the same area, same store? There were tips all over Fl, some right in the city I live in..which is about 10-15 min from Sanford.. I would like a complete list of ALL the tips. Thats why I was so P*** off when they released only physic tips. Also, If I recall, I think I emailed Lee as well from the Caylee site.
~~
Snoop, KC called kio marie on July 9 asking for money. you might want to find out where kio lived when kc called her
Snoop, I would want to know for sure. The only other way you could have gotten attention would have been to go to the media. If the media would have run with it…it would have forced some action. One point in Casey talking to Mathew…how do you know she told the truth. In reviewing her text messages and the interviews with her friends…..she was a habitual liar. There was nothing subtle about it either. This is one of the reasons I think she was on the phone constantly. It was her trying to cover her tracks with the way she ran game on her friends and family. jmo
I do have issues with the warmth, Love and smiles. Where was the love in not reporting her daughter missing until Cindy forced the issue. We saw pictures of her smiling in a bar while she claimed to be looking for Caylee. This is not conjecture, it’s based on facts and witnesses. None of the above fit with a missing child. I am a very strong person but if one of my kids were to have gone missing it would bring me to my knees in terror. Even with the help of professionals, I can’t imagine the things that would manifest in my thoughts. Yet this girl spent day and night on the phone and none of it was looking for Caylee until the night of July 15th when she sent the mass text. She is directly responsible for the disappearance of her daughter, child neglect and endangerment.
Currently there is another missing persons case that is starting to sound like this one. The
John Skelton case in Michigan. He claimed that he gave his children to someone he met on the Internet. The police and FBI can not find any trace of these people. Eerily similar…..it has been over a week now and I have a bad feeling in my gut that these children met with foul play. Why can’t these people put their kids up for adoption? The child killing needs to end.
damagd,
I know exactly where you’re coming from but just putting that aside for the moment, we don’t know the REAL date Caylee was missing/murdered whatever day she ceased to exist. Lets say Casey the Liar as you say, is lying about the 31days too. Wasn’t it odd that 31 days were picked and at some point June 9th turned into June16th? Wasn’t it odd JG says he heard a child in the background on June 24th but then changes his story? Wasn’t it odd that Kio Cruz says KC called her to borrow money on or about the same time but changes it to Casey Wms? So I say forget about the entire timeline for the moment. If you must follow the phone pings maybe?? But honest to God, no one except for Casey knows when or where she last saw Caylee.
If Snoop is saying there’s a possibility she saw a KC with a child named Caylee at a grocery store and has reported this to the Tip Line, I think she should have at least gotten a courtesy call back from LE by now to say – we looked at the video tape and that child you saw is not Caylee. It’s been over 2yrs.
I heard about that guy too. Didn’t he try to commit suicide and failed? I think that case is different than this one. He’s mentally unstable and I bet if given the chance he’ll succeed next time he tries. I bet when he does LE will find a note saying exactly what happened to his boys. It’s sickening I know. Is this happening more now? Or are we just hearing more about this? It seems like there’s a new case everyday. Soooo sad.
Wow — Snoop– I had no idea that you actually saw Casey and Caylee, reported it to LE and nothing happend! Ever consider contacting NG??
Snoop, I think you should let Baez know about this, mistaken identity or not. You can’t take that chance, if LE didn’t see fit to follow up it would be a horrible miscarriage of justice to not at least check it out and if the defense doesn’t know they can’t investigate. I’ve read the docs that showed which leads LE followed up on but don’t recall anything sounding like your tip. No, they wouldn’t likely follow up on any but what they thought they had no choice but to follow up on because they had their man.
D, I really get your point but as JB said, we really don’t know when Caylee was last seen or when Casey became aware that something wasn’t right. She was going someplace when she was not at TL’s and she didn’t stay there every night. The case of the Skelton children is quite different too, as it was pointed out. I agree, the hardest part to get past is the unanswered question as to how she could go out and party if she was worried about her daughter. But, what if she wasn’t worried yet on the 20th. On a lighter note here is something I thought you might enjoy. http://video.yahoo.com/network/100063489?v=8616024&l=100063517
JB, You encompassed my whole point….no one can pick and choose to what KC told anyone. We can be assured that through interviews and text messages she never told any truth. We do know that Caylee visited her grandfather on the 15th. We can’t be sure that George saw Caylee on the 16th because he has sworn to different times. I sure hope Snoop sent for verification, that could be huge….JG assumed that Caylee was with KC because during their conversation KC said “get off the table” JG thought she was talking to KC. The cell pings put her at home and she could have been talking to the cat. The pings will be subjective at trial. The defense has a cell tower expert that will probably claim that you can’t have an exact location because of the 3 mile radius around a cell tower.
The PA added a few names to their witness list. Zanaida Gonzales being the first. I am glad that they did this because it needs to be reminded of who was claimed to have taken Caylee. You have to remember that 2-3 weeks after KC was arrested, the defense stopped talking about Zanny. Then there is Ricardo Morales…Cindy tried to paint him as Zanny or Jeff H. because of the picture taken in his apartment. KC told Cindy it was Zanny’s Apartment. The last being Sylvia Hernandez (guard from the jail), not sure what she could add to the states case other than testimony of KC’s behavior in jail.

Connie, The Yahoo video put a huge smile on my face and made my day…Thank You!!!
I would like to believe that God is a little upset and decided to make an example. The person below represents true evil that exists in our towns and neighborhoods.

Hi damagdpets..Without out reading all of your post or other posts I stop here..
(snipped)
You say:
The only other way you could have gotten attention would have been to go to the media. If the media would have run with it…it would have forced some action. One point in Casey talking to Mathew…how do you know she told the truth.
FORCED SOME ACTION>>> Yes, I am quite sure..as well as any others that claimed Caylee
was alive past the time frame of June 16th! Those in the media..had character assassinations..threats..reputations ruined…etc. Look at Wanda Wery..who claimed to see
her at the airport on July 2nd. Which Ironically is the day I returned to Fl as well. They
never had video to say it was not. The best they could do was have a passenger list. Was that list actually credible of the small child..?..What happened to the sketch? Was it ever released? NO..and until LE established they did not find credibility..should it not have been released? Wanda Wery also had a hard time making a tip. It was through Cindy that she
was taken notice. THEN, it was OH, she must have been a friend of Cindy’s, She wanted fame, she wanted to sell puppies, she had bad business dealings…on and on..Her name
is literally all over the internet. Her background..her business, her character..her reputation.
And she made this tip around July 23rd only 7 days after the case was publicized.
I hadn’t even paid attention at that point..But when I did..and I’m most certain others, were
fearful if the media got a hold of it, what would happen. YES, that is real friggin sad! And I am sure many, as I, weighed out to even become involved period! There were protesters at the
Anthony’s, violence..And the MEDIA..Well i did get involved..but not until I talked to my family..as my elderly mother to take in to consideration..And no one knew how many tips had been given..how they were handled, when the media was informed etc. But, I did give my tip..although they
made it quite difficult to do..As the dispatcher said “tips needed to go through Crime line”..There were recordings of what to do etc. if it involved Casey Anthony whatever..I mean it was a most difficult task. And it should not have been!!!!!!! At that time, although the MAJORITY..AND LE..had decided that she was deceased..There certainly was not the evidence
needed to establish that! SPECULATION. So when Cindy was saying that people could not get through and they were not following up on live Caylee..She was not blowing steam..She was quite accurate!
I had to ponder and collect my thoughts..as i had an ongoing family emergency at the time as well. I was confused as I had met 2 Caylee in
a week or so time!!!!!
One on the plane the June 29th…And again in a grocery store with
Casey in the very beginning of July! The Caylee on the flight seemed a little older, the nanny had told me her age and I had commented that she seemed older. She communicated very well, and had told me her full name,( I only remembered the first name however, because of the dog I care for Cali) which I was surprised as most children..being a little shy will timidly say their first name. The circumstances surrounding all that which I have went into great detail in another post some where here was really strange.
But the grocery store..Casey was with Caylee..I am 100% sure of the names! when I per my
mother took notice of the case..seen the pictures..I was convinced about the sighting in the
store..yet felt the Caylee on the plane looked very close to the Caylee in the store except
the Caylee on the plane looked a little older. Her hair was down and the Caylee in the store had her hair in pigtails. Now what are the chances I would meet 2 Caylees in that time frame..who were both in similarities, with very outgoing personalities, telling me their
full names, and a Caylee is missing?? The one on the plane sitting ACROSS the aisle from her guardian who turns out to be a nanny with no luggage at the Detroit airport. The other being with a woman named Casey with a tattoo???????? I WAS VERY FRIGGIN CONFUSED!!!!
So it was not an easy task over all. I was dealing with a lot of issues personally..and yet
I LOVE children.. and was quite overwhelmed about what I had experienced and how to
differentiate between the two Caylees. I recalled telling my friends son, Casey, about
the strangeness and coincidentals. So I after considering all, made the tip.
I had no idea if my tip my was followed up on. There are many tips that
were investigated..report of findings.. which some were released..A LONG TIME after the physic tips. When those tips came out with the physics I was freaking out..I was like, am I the only one beside a physic that had a sighting???? It was ridiculous..then when Baez confirmed that those were all he had..I realized there were more LOL I don’t even know when they were released. I waited a long time to view in documents what they did with my tip! We really have no way of knowing what they followed up on… There were 1000′s of tips and I certainly have not found a full list of tips involving non physics. If what I have viewed is all they have documented then I would say there were MANY not investigated! And I am quite sure I am not the only one who they did not come back to me with the results of the investigation LOL.. The tips were all made obviously after July 16th a month after she alledgedly murdered Caylee. At one point the tips were to find a live Caylee. Later of course they could be used to establish time frames.
Many tips they followed up on that could be verified, were the ones were she was sighted or believed to be at a residence. The ones where she was seen in public,MANY could not be
verified, because first of all it took time for the tips to come in,(Especially, since it was such a hassle to even make a tip) and by the time they followed up on it..(which sometimes was a while!!!), there was no video to substantiate.
I own my own business. I have a lot of influential clients..as well as my elderly mother and I
share the same residence. I would not expose her to media! Unfortunately, the media..and leaks,
hindered the case overall of finding a live Caylee.. I made the tip. Do you know the odds that there were many who were afraid to even do that???
IRONICALLY, I now know that Casey is alledgedly at Tony’s the June 29th. There is NOTHING
for Casey that day.
IRONICALLY, Matthew Crisp brings up Sanford in July!
What am I to make out of all this???????????????????????? It makes me absolutely unsettled
about all!!!!!!!!!! So I continue to be convinced, that regardless of what happened, I am
quite sure that Caylee was NOT DECEASED, in there time frame. Which makes EVERYTHING
wrong! So I live and breathe this case, and am SO SURE that there is something more!!!!!
I emailed information.. of Kronk..back support.. his ex wives names..his family history..all research that I dug up on him and his family to Baez.I refused to do any posting on sites virtually because it was all so maddening to me! I could barely even read the crap. But I did email my tip to Hollywood Pi as well as
the research on Kronk..as he had been notoriously posting all over the internet that
Caylee was alive..and bloggers were commenting on him. I knew he
would make comments! He did post the info on his website.
Damagdpets as far as Crisp and Casey lying about Sanford..My suggestion was why Sanford?
Living here I know, Sanford Fl to not be some place Casey would pull off the top of her head. There is nothing there. Also, it is not nearby to any of the vicinities she spent the majority of her time.
The other thing is..whether Casey was lying or not, does not change my sighting
at the store on 46A Sanford, Fl. Pretty ironic I would say though that she mentions Sanford to Crisp on July 7th..And my sighting would have had to be July3rd or July 7th-11th.
Which just makes it very close to home for me.
For now, I am thankful I have this website , thanks JB. At least I do not feel alone in
the fact..that there is much more to this case. And that there are others who believe as I do.
For awhile it was pretty lonely dealing with a pretty sure thing that Caylee was alive past
June 16th..and the likely hood that I had seen her.
Hello — what do we do with Snoops information????
Snoop, Thank You for your explanation…..I would be more than tentative myself under the same circumstances. I would also have to step back and take a deep breath in order to figure out what to do. The reality of your situation is that if you reported it two years ago or two days ago, you would be deposed and probably have to testify. It’s reasonable to think that if you saw them so did others. Have you been able to verify the date yet? I hope for your own safety and peace of mind that the date is different than what you thought. I would not wish the responsibility on anyone.
Hi All. I hope you are all having a good weekend. Snoop, thanks for sharing. You sound really frustrated and I would probably feel the same way if I was pretty sure I saw them but no one listened. Even if I were wrong, I’d rather know that than wonder if that little girl got lost in the weave of a fabric made up of preconceived ideas. If LE wouldn’t follow up on this I hope the defense has an opportunity to, for Caylee’s sake. For reasons of my own, I’m not at all convinced that Caylee was dead on June 16 either and am even more sure she wasn’t in the woods in June, July or August. I honestly don’t believe Kronk saw her then. I think it would be very smart for the real killer to place her in that woods once he knew that the area had been cleared. The longer the time span before she is found, the less evidence there would be. And, I keep coming back to Nick Savage being involved. If his area of expertise is internet child porn, tracking down the Savages of the world, then why was he involved? They must have suspected something that is in his field or they woudn’t have called him in, would they? Or is there so little of that type of cases to investigate that he has time on his hands to be involved in general missing children cases? I highly doubt that but if someone knows something I’m unaware of that explains his participation, I’d love to be enlightened. I’d surely like to read his depo?
Hey Hazaka, I’m not really sure.
Snoop,
I understand your reasons for not coming forward in the press. In the early days, absolutely..you would of have been hammered if the press got whiff of your story. Two Caylee sitings in this small time frame is a lot to swallow even for me, but I believe you and this is why.
You have no reason to lie, that simple. You’ve admitted that the Caylee at the airport seemed older. So be it.. Even a little girl with the slight resemblence of Caylee should be reason enough for LE. Hopefully, since we have no way of knowing, this flight was checked out and they know who this child is. Tip cleared?? The siting at the grocery is very plausible. I wonder if there’s video cameras at the register. If you have a receipt with a date, “they” whoever is interested could check from there but chances are this surveillance no longer exist either.
Snoop, but please don’t lose hope. I understand how you feel. What if you could have done something? That must be an awful feeling.
My only suggestion at this point is to contact the defense team. Maybe your sightings fit in with their timeline?
Like I mentioned earlier… did you find out where Kio Marie lived on July 9th when she claimed she received a call from KC?? Just wondered if she was near Sanford.
Damagdpets, You see..I have never been hung up in the lies Casey told as it pertaining to whether she murdered Caylee.. Nor the theory that the majority has. If I was to believe that..
Casey would have killed her daughter because she did not want her, she was in the way of the new boyfriend. She looked up how to make chloroform however alledgedly on the computer months prior. So I guess it was not the new boyfriend. So, it must have been any boyfriend. Or maybe she just wanted to party..Yeah that must have been it..But to the contrary.. back then Casey was not quite the partier. Oh well, lets just say for
the sakes of all she just didn’t want her daughter.. So she researched how to make chloroform, neck breaking techniques, and weapons at home to complete the task. Premeditation.
Once she completes the task she goes to a neighbor and borrows a shovel so she can dig a hole..in the backyard of her home. She changes her mind. So she grabs a laundry bag and a couple leaf bags and stuffs Caylee in the trunk of her car. But its starts to smell as she is driving around with Caylee in the trunk, as she tells one of her best friends that her car smells like a dead animal. Well enough of that..she needs to get rid of her pesky daughter’s smell before someone is on to her. So she goes right down the street from her parent’s home and the neighbor she borrowed the shovel from and dumps the body. And off to Tony’s to watch some movies of death.
Oh but wait..that can’t be right.. because the Chloroform and syringe were at the remains site..Ok, she gets Caylee dressed her in 24month shorts..because it will not matter once she kills her that they are too small ..She puts on a trouble T-shirt to represent how much trouble Caylee has been..grabs a Winnie the Pooh blanket..a laundry bag..some leaf bags..runs and gets a shovel from the neighbor..grabs the chloroform, syringe, duct tape, heart stickers..and shes on her way. She takes Caylee to the area..uses the syringe &Chloroform..Oh wait, first she puts 3 strips of duct tape over her mouth, and attaches a heart sticker..once Caylee is dead she wraps her in the pooh blanket ..puts her in the bags and dumps her. Takes the shovel back.
OOPs that can’t be right because she carried her in the trunk. Ok, well she had all the supplies with her from her very own home..the chloroform..went to an undisclosed area, commited the murder, again with the chloroform, duct tape, heart sticker and Winnie the Pooh blanket, then stuffed her in the bags. Looking for an ideal spot to dispose of the body, she drives around a few days or more with her in the trunk. She finally comes up with the ideal spot..right down the street from her house! Wow, why didn’t she think of that sooner, she could have eliminated all that smell. So she backs in her driveway..goes right to her neighbor borrows a shovel..Well wait..she really didn’t bury her did she? Oh, well maybe
she did dig a hole in the back yard..but changed her mind. Getting tired of all that smell and dead weight she does just dump her down the street.
There, no more Caylee she can do what she wants now.
I DON’T BUY IT!
Snoop, here is what Casey was doing on July 7. Her phone was quite for quite some time, during that day, a couple of 1 hour periods and a couple of shorter stretches, 30 and 40 minutes. Her and Amy exchanged some texts, a few about Will. He gave Amya poster from Ikea, he bought for her. Is there another Ikea besides the home furnishings business? That was the final text from Amy on the 6th and Casey responds about it the first call of the day on the 7th, after apologizing for not responding the night before because she didn’t hear her phone. This does seem to be true, or else she just let her phone lie because there is a period of time on the 6th where she doesn’t answer texts or make calls. She checks voice mail through that back door phone number which I still have questions about, at 8:05pm, then nothing till the next morning. Back to the 7th, Amy tells her she has to move her car or it will be towed. It was lunch time when Matt C had luch with her and she said Caylee was in Sanford, verified by his receipt.
Casey did some shopping that day, receipts provided by Lee, taken from her purse.
Target at University and Goldenrod at 5:16 pm cash $4.18. This is in the Amscott area.
Movie at Waterford “Hancock” at 8:00 pm $8.00. This is a short distance from Fusion.
http://flawebhosting.net/docs092308/la092308.pdf
She told LE she lost her Blackjack 9 days prior which would be about July 6 or 7. Interestingly her phone is strangely silent on the 6th, for a 3 hour period in the afternoon. Anything could have happened during that 3 hours. If someone else had her blackjack it would ping somewhere she isn’t at too, woudn’t it? It could have been lost in Tony’s apartment and pinged there too, conceivably. Someone else could have been using the phone. If it had the same phone number and account, both phones would be billed together. I’m not sure how to know if there are two phones showing though, except through the two different E164 numbers showing, that I’ve mentioned elsewhere here. I assume that is something the cell expert Baez has brought on board will address. She could have easily made a trip to Sanford to drop Caylee off for a playdate, to be picked up the next afternoon, except there isn’t a lot of opportunity to have made that trip on the 7th. Would there be time between her 6:45 pm call and the start of the movie to make the trip to Sanford? She pinged near the theater, according to her phone records, at 7:41 pm.
Snoop, I think her phone records do show a possibility that she could have made a trip to Sanford the 6th or the 7th.
Ok, all this came from me seeing the look on Casey’s face at trial Monday.
“I did what I needed to do by giving a tip” , just like anyone else who had a sighting.
What they did with the tip..I have no idea. just like others who tipped of public sightings.
Being that they probably did not get back with any others, with the exception if they had to go to a residence for a tip. I don’t feel any more slighted than they do. I have accepted that if it was followed up..as many others I read..there
was no video or like wise. I would have had no idea whether they followed up or not to
have even go to the media. And yet today, I have no idea. But I am quite sure there are others
who wonder still if the sighting they reported was Caylee. But then others..have assumed since
her remains were found and the time line is she was deceased in June that it was not possible. I am not one of them. I believed if the remains were Caylee, they definitely had
their time frame wrong.
Since I had already at one time posted in detail about the sighting..I brought it up when I put the article of Glass there. I have actively tried to research those dates..but also everything I could get my hands on because..I know if the time frame is wrong ..There is more that
has to be wrong. And for this fact I am a Casey advocate at this time. I do not believe
she murdered Caylee.
Honestly guys, my whole mention of all that was the excitement I had that I had found
my friend and that I talked to Money gram and could track a date. And maybe possibilities
that could come from a date and time from money gram. For possible future reference of importance.
I made the tip 2 years ago. If
they did nothing or did something I don’t know and am not the only one I am sure. If the
date and time when I receive it proves beneficial in any way so be it. I don’t have a problem with spending 20.00 for that.
Yes, Zuben I had been frustrated in trying to find information my self that would help me
in determining if I was right or wrongl But what I wrote in the recent post is the frustrations I HAD at the time. And the other frustrations your seeing are getting blasted by all of the importance of it and the media getting brought up and all. Trying to explain that I did what I needed to do in reference to the importance. I MADE A TIP OF A SIGHTING. Yes, I want to know.. But realistically, out of 1000′s of tips I don’t imagine
I am the only one. And I find no resolution going to LE and saying look I made a tip and I want to know LOL..What exactly do you think they would say?
Now, when I get the information..the date and time verified..from money gram I will proceed
from there. I did not have any reciepts..my friend moved and I only had what we have been given from LE. I waited for the tips to be released..I waited for the checks..I researched every
plausible theory in the case as well as the players. Rest assured I have not given up. But guys, there are a lot of people who thought they seen Caylee and gave their tip. I am just one. But it is good as well for me to share this with you as minorities that you understand
what it was like to make a tip and what LE did in response.
For now I will wait on information..And continue to do what I have been doing.
Thanks all
I would think the odds would favor that there are many more out there in the same position as you. We supposedly have seen about half the tips and that half is the psychic tips, not the alleged sightings. I think the state was essentially slapping Baez in the face by selling them only the psychic tips in that first CD. It is as if they were mocking him for daring to present that request as a legitimate desire to want to know if anyone had seen Caylee alive. I’m not condemning the psychic angle. I believe there are good and talented ones, along with frauds and not so talented ones. But they knew very well that Baez wanted all the tips, not just the psychic ones. In my opinion the price they demanded was usury. If they cared about justice they could have offered that he could come look at them without charge. I’m convinced from early on they hoped to break the bank of the Anthony defense fund. Shouldn’t a mother or grandmother have the right to know what tips come in without the expense of paying and outrageous price for public information? And they already had all the tips typed into the computer, no scanning necessary. Only a couple of minutes are required to upload that file and email it to the defense. Ok, maybe 3 if they first had to compress it.
I went searching for more tips and found a link ..this is much more organized than the one I had. It gives a ref # So on page 3 at the very top you will see Albertsons..I got kind of excited but going to page 45 which is tip #22 you will see the explanation. I am going to read all and see. Zuben, I know you commented before about things being sideways in the docs..If you right click you can rotate them.
Thanks Zuben for the ping info..I am also going to go back and look at those again. I use the one from Webslueths that give the days and pings..I am not sure what resource you use? Or if
you made your own
OOPs again forgot the link

Snoop, You posted some valid theories. The theories I have come to understand are based on facts at hand and not by the newspaper. I came to believe the case was not as complicated as seems after KC’s interview and they could not find the most important players. Then there is the hits by the dogs in the back yard of the Anthony home and the car as well. Where I am there are many water and mountain searches. Typically dogs don’t find people under water and or snow. The majority of the dogs are trained to smell out decomposing material. Bones are usually found by hunters and hikers. I go back to Occam’s Razor and criminal profiling. As much as I thought that Kronk could be a suspect, he does not fit and accusations against him have been weak at best. The defense has backed away from him just like Zanny. The only reason I can think of for this is lack of evidence.
Zub, To the best of my knowledge you can not have two cell phones out at a time. If KC lost hers and went to get another they would shut her blackjack off electronically in order to give her another phone with the same number. Even if she went to another provider she couldn’t do it because the number would show active. I cheated…I called and asked…..
wow that was short ..i didn’t realize it only had 54 pages..See thats what I mean

I have been wondering for about a year why Kc was in Cassleberry. Jt put in a statement that he saw Kc and Caylee on the 16th of June in the Walmart. He also said that she had been in his computer store the week before asking about a flat screen monitor. She asked if he took checks. Again, the cell phone pings do not seem to show anything in Cassleberry, but there are gaps showing enough time for her to go over there.
Is there something or someone up north in that area that Kc was going to visit? I note that she did have phone calls to Shirley Pleasea and I wonder how often she went up to visit at Mt Dora. But is there someone else up there in that area, or something else? Why did she go up there and I can’t imagine that it was her choice of Walmart or Albertsons. I think it is possible that there is a person up there that has not emerged yet. It is interesting to me that the Defense said on 48 hours that Kc did have someone looking into the matter and we will find out who that person is at trial.
The 31 day thing also makes no sense. I think 31 days puts in back to June 14th in which her cell pings showed she was at home. She originally said June 9th, but that supposedly was because Cindy said it was June 9th and no one questions Cindy. That is Lee’s take on that. At any rate, June 9th and JUne 14th are two different dates and that all comes from the interrogation followed up by arrest. We did not get a chance to see if she would change the date again. Why all the lies? What is she trying to cover up? The detective confronted her with Ricardo saying that her and Caylee stayed over night with him on June 9th, I think she answered back with, that was July 9th not june 9th that I stayed over there.
I am not convinced at all that we have the truth about the last time Kc had Caylee in her possesion. I am still not convinced that there is no blackjack phone. I wish the police would have searched Ricardo’s apartment, since she was wearing that shirt in his apt and maybe the shoes and the black jack phone are over there. I think it is really odd that when he went to sleep, Caylee was there and when he woke up, she was gone. Kc told him that she took her home. Found that kind of odd.
I think a lot can be learned from Phone records. We don’t seem to have them all in one place. It is difficult to follow.
Okay, what car was she driving on July 7th? Amy’s? I wonder if they ever searched Amy’s car for clues. Just thinking out loud here.
D, if that is the case then do you know why there are two E164 numbers, which are unique identifiers for her phone? One ends in 10, the other in 20. the one ending in 08 is only when she using the back door to voice mail number.
Snoop, I just read your 8:13 popular scenario of how Casey killed her daughter. It is really laughable when you put it all together. Maybe the state will let the chloroform evaporate since it is so very volatile. But even the rest of their theory is just silly, IMO. Oh, don’t forget though, the alleged heart sticker residue was over at the end of the tape, by the ear, not on the mouth or center. How will they explain that one? There are so many ways to be rid of a child, especially with grandparents in the home. She could have just left her. She could have also used her as a source of income, but she didn’t. Was she too proud to ask? She didn’t have any problem stealing on more than one occasion so why would that be a problem? Nope, I don’t buy it that easily. Yes, some of her friends said she lied but none of them said she was a bad or unloving mother, in fact, just the opposite. That speaks volumes to me, along with the photos and videos.
Oh, by the way, I am honored that you sought me out because I approach this from a different angle and I’m glad you’ve found a safe place to share, thanks to JB. I know if I had all that you’ve been holding in I’d be ready to burst. if I couldn’t get it out. Yes, please to pass your information along to the defense team.
I went looking for any links to tips and hadn’t looked at them all closely before. This doc http://www.docstoc.com/docs/9270113/Casey-Anthony-tips-about-Caylee shows they can’t even get her birthdate correct. Tip 429 on page 20 was assigned to Nick Savage, probably because it was out of state. Her DOB is listed as 7/1/2006 on this page. This tip and all the others are rated low priority. I guess Savage didn’t have anything better to do. Becky Butler stated that officers went to the location and said the child in question was not Caylee Anthony. The rest of the paperwork on this tip is found on page 23. Now, answer this one for me. If they were looking for a child born on July 1, 2006 instead of one born on August 9, 2005 would they ever be able to make a true positive ID or would they all be false leads? Yes, garbage in garbage out, just like out of the trunk. Something smells really bad. Page 27-28 has a large list of Zenaida F Gonzalez, many in Florida, as close as Ocala and Ft. Lauderdale. A lot are in Miami. Now, page 29 says that one with middle initial M living in Sunny Beach was interviewed and shown to have to relationship to Casey and that they forwarded the report to OCSO. I don’t believe we have seen this in discovery, have we? I don’t think this is the civil suit ZG because I don’t recognize the town. It’s the wrong age too, born in 1953. She’s related to Gloria and has both NY and Miami connections. I think I saw this one when researching too.
Did you all realize that the body hunters, Gail St. John and crew were in Orlando on September 3rd too? Page 37 forward is a report that their dog hit on a dead dog. LE K9 was brought in and didn’t alert. This was over at Boggy Creek Rd and Whetherbee. Now, if they were so convinced in August Caylee was on Suburban drive what were they doing on Boggy Creek? I guess they went back and cleard Suburban drive and moved on by that time. Colleen says her and her team came to Orlando on August 28, 08.
Now here is an interesting pair. On page 51 people reported finding bones, along with seeing small car tracks, a rake or rack and a jack about 400 yds from the bones. This was in a wooded area on Econlockhatchee between Curry Ford and Lee Vista, Sept. 19, 08. OCSO said they were The reporters took the bones after making the spot with a stick, to the Sherrif’s office. Sgt Allen was brought in and Jenny Welsh was given the task of identifying the bones but the results aren’t listed. It only says no suspects have yet been located. Hmmm. Fast forward to page 73, a man that lives on Lee Vista reported on August 29 that around noon in July he saw a white Pontiac Sunfire parked at the West corner of Econ and Lee Vista by a retention pond. Econ is Econlockhatchee. He and a co-worker observed to people, one with a shovel, the other with another tool. An OCSO Sgt emailed Allen. He said OPD wanted to write a report but he said the flow of information would be faster going though him and he would forward this information to Melich via inter office. WHAT??? On page 76, the witness says that his mail carrier saw the same car coming from the woods in Tavoli Garden. That same name is mentioned in other report about Econ road. In the other report it is written Trovioli Park but it sounds like they are both talking about the same place. I’m really tired right now but I’ll look tomorrow at a map of this area. What seems really strange to me is the way it was handled, the fact I don’t yet see a follow up with the other two witnesses or what the bones where, human or animal. Now, what if Caylee were here in July. It doesn’t say when in July these witnesses saw the Pontiac Sunfire. Is the chain of custody squeaky clean after July 16? There would be plenty of time between anytime in July and September 19 for a small body to be completely skeletonized. I know, some will think I’m dreaming but I’m not quite asleep yet. If I see the final report on this, etc, then I will not worry about it. But doesn’t it seem like too much to be a coincidence, two stories about the same location, perhaps both events happening after Casey was in custody and under constant watch? Well, maybe all these people got together and dreamed all this up.
Night all.
Snoop, I have not ruled out drugs either. In the old days I think they called it someone slipped her a mickey. It seems like somewhere in the docs that Amy had been sleep walking and lost her money, but of course they blamed Kc for that. Is there a way to administer that type of drug without someone knowing? It seemed really really odd to me that Kc wanted to talk to Tony so badly when she was arrested and that wouldn’t you think that a person would want to talk to their family? I wonder if she feels he slipped her something or his friends slipped her something, because this is the timeframe in which she is confused.
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever that she partied during this time frame. Was she drugged in another way?
I agree absolutely Zuben! And that is exactly the kind of thing I have been waiting to
pop up!!! The how and why I don’t know..but I honestly believe that exactly what
you are referring to is a VERY STRONG possibility and one I have anticipated!
Again=== having re-read Snoop’s post… I am getting a sicking feeling … Snoop == you are brave to post all of that here ….something positive must happen, and I believe in some way, it will.
notthatsmart..Yes drugs could have been a possibility I think. Either something
she took or something she ingested unknowingly. Per the interviews and transcripts
by TL and his roommates..There were drugs there..they all smoked pot..but one of
the roommates I don’t recall which one at the moment ..had xanax I believe prescribed..and
something else..I think for bipolar? TL said in his interview when asked about who drank that
particular kind of beer..that it could have been many people as his roommates had many
friends in there on a daily basis. Also there is the apartment down the way, where he
and Casey went to talk to Clint about him moving I believe. Another drug place..I think that guy was a dealer.
I have always wondered about Clint House..there were no interviews with him that I recall. He moved out and went to Jacksonville. He was an event planner. He was working on
a couple dui’s or 1 dui and then driving after convicted..I don’t know but he had some
legal stuff going on. In fact..since Casey was primarily staying there..I wonder why there
were not more interviews done with the people there. I know one roommate , which made TL
angry..did an interview with Gretta I think. I think it was Cameron?
Also everyone pretty much agreed that KC did not or had not been known to do drugs.
Most said she was not even a big drinker. At least prior to Tony. But she smoked pot
with his roommates. It would be difficult to say what kind of drugs were there. But I feel it is
safe to sayTL stayed clear of the A’s and anything to do with Caylee, KC..after saying he was going to do anything to help..because he helped LE instead ..why? Did they know the dealing that may have been going on there? Didn’t someone get ripped off of 5,000?
The other thing that has always bothered me is everyone talks about how she wanted Tony’s # so bad in the 1st jail house call. Which she did. But at some point she says she really wants to talk to MIKE…Mike who? And why did she want to talk to him???? She was in jail
suspected of murdering her daughter. So one thing to talk to your boyfriend..especially
if you were practically living with him..and maybe he knew more than said. But who the hell is Mike..and Why would she want or need to talk to this guy during this crisis?
Hazaka..I have posted many postings here since last night LOL so I am not sure which one
you are talking about. The Reality of it all is that I just posted a link earlier
http://media.trb.com/media/acrobat/2009-03/45413764.pdf
and if you go to page 3 you will see the Albertsons tip(it is not mine)..and then you will see the results
of investigation on page 45. They said there was a possibility of the store closing,do to the publix take over and the video was not in operation that day. The tip was that she was seen
on July 27th. It was followed up on August 8th. The store was presumably to close on Sept 1/2008.
When the Publix took over the Albertson’s in Fl a lot of stores closed. Some remained open as Albertsons..and some stayed open but were changed over to Publix. So if LE did follow up on the tip..chances are they had the same scenario..although the Albertsons I was at did not close down, but was changed over to Publix. There definitely would not be any video now
for sure. When I receive it, which is suppose to take approx 10 days..I will know the date and time.
But seems regardless of what public place it was, the tips I have seen seemed the same. No video. No video inside..or no video outside..One had video but they couldn’t verify it nor disqualify it..etc etc. The ones that were mostly verified were sightings of children living in a residence. There are a small amount of tips released compared to the 5,000 they said they recieved, excluding the physic reports.
But for my tip there definitely would not be any video now
for sure, and probably not even then because of the change over. I was not even sure when they changed over, I just went one day and it was a publix..I thought I was in the wrong place LOL.
When I receive the information which is suppose to take approx 10 days..I will know the date and time. But that will only give credibility that I was there..I would not or they could
not prove that Casey and Caylee were there. But..in the event that Sanford somehow falls
in to the picture..or the date..then maybe it would be useful. I only wish it could have been verified or not back then:( It is a sad feeling to know that even though I made the tip..that
there is the possibility it was not followed up on or that even the remote possibility it or any tip could have made a difference. And even sadder that the media and internet world..thought Cindy was calling in her friends to make tips of a live Caylee when the
truth is..there were people who were stepping forward legitimately reporting tips. How sad is that!
snoop had ALL of this to say on December 4, 2010 at 8:13 pm !!
Would you mind if I keep this for a future post?
Perfectly stated Ms. Snoop.
May I stamp, stomp and stamp it again? tyvm.
Good morning Zuben,
Thank you, thank you for researching for us. Good job as always.
I want to edit this one part because I think you meant “July 6 or 7″??
Just wanted to be sure and let you know before I made any changes.

She told LE she lost her Blackjack 9 days prior which would be about June 6 or 7. Interestingly her phone is strangely silent on the 6th, for a 3 hour period in the afternoon. Anything could have happened during that 3 hours.
Zuben,
When I read this part of your comment..

I’m thinking, this Suburban Drive thingy really disturbs me. I’m convinced and ready to bet big money that LE “cleared” this area weeks before Kronk ever came-a-looking. It’s the only thing that makes sense to me. They may have even told Tim Miller don’t bother ruining your equipment, we cleared this area. Who knows and who will dare tell?? Nobody.

IIRC, it was Clint House. For some reason, I remember that name House because of my fav. TV doctor. I’m not sure though.
Yes, JB, I meant July 6 or 7 and would really appreciate it if you could edite that for me. Thank you. I would have to think you are right that the Body Hunters were satisfied that Caylee was not there. They had a lot to gain if they could find her and certainly woudn’t overlook an area they had a feeling about. Now, if there is true psychic ability that they are experiencing it is quite possible they were picking up on a future energy too. That area would emit Caylee’s energy being drawn there as sort of an attracting force coming from that land. And one can only imagine, if she were not there at that time, what the meaning of the sick to the stomach sensation, was. It makes me sick just to think about it.
So how would we go about getting what is missing from those reports about Econlockhatchee road? It gives me a really bad feeling to imagine what it could all imply.
The top of page 54, concerning the bones found off Econlockhatchee, animal bones is hand writter. I located the general area and it is very near the Anthony home. They mention a bridge and I see 2 places that the road croses the water so would be a bridge. One of those conduits or what ever it is called, has another bridge crossing from one woods to the other, further to the East. Now, one of the places they could be talking about on page 55 is straight at the end of Suburban drive if you were to follow the trail through the woods. It goes all the way to Econlockhatchee. they say they went about 400 yards into the woods and when I set the Goggle Earth ruler to yards, that brings me almost to Suburban drive, being less than 500 yards from Econ. The car tracks they mention is the same description I would give to that trail at the end of Suburuban. Remember the pics? They report there was another river deep in the woods. The other person said there was a hole with water, where they found more bones. Do any of you remember if there is a stream in there? Remember the rope sticking out of the ground that was reported there that the officer said it was a bomb but the report had sex crime written on it? Very strange, indeed. We must also keep in mind that the report has animal bones written at the top. There is a road going off the other side of Econ that has Tivoli in it but there are also others so they could be talking further south and the same place the report on page 75 refers too.
They say the car was at the retention pond on the SW corner of LeeVista and Econ, which is just South of there. It looks like there is a Dunkin Doughnuts across the street. This would not be between Curry Ford and Lee Vista, however and I don’t see a bridge. So perhaps this is two different stories and locations. Also, it would seem very strange that someone would do something like this in such a major crossway in public view unless they weren’t worried about getting caught. The only way that would be likely is if they were the ones with authority to catch someone. Maybe this is all way off base.
jB LOL Yes, you can keep the Dec4 8:13 post.
JB & Zuben..I was busy earlier..just seen your posts. Zuben I have not read today
but I stayed up wee hours reading those posts as well. I know of the general area.
I was sooooo tired I couldn’t keep my eyes focused. But I am going back to it again
here in a bit. I do think from what I read they are both the same place. Now, it is
something I have honestly considered. I had read something at one time..to a report
something like this, maybe it was this LOL But, I got kinda freaked as well..Then I
wondered how it came all together..and did fit some things together. Although it is terribly unsettling I do not find it unbelievable. JMO
As far as the head hunters..I had a video of
them that was a little different than the ones we watched. I had gotten it from the Brians
dreams as they were posting as she was searching. In that video..I believe someone comes
to their car and tells them they are tresspassing or something to that effect, near suburban.
They did not want them searching there. Now, I don’t know what date that was..I will look
for it. But I did lose some things when my PC went bad in the summer. I still have not been
able to make contact with the old hard drive I put in as well. But I will try to find.
Also, I watched a video or listened I guess to Gail and couple other people..It was referring
that Baez was taking about remains being planted there..She makes a comment that he may
even think, she and her team did it.
Jb says (snipped)

I agree..it basically is along the same lines as what Zuben is talking..And maybe what
Baez has been hinting. But like anything else with this case..he would have to do a process of elimination as well. So although some get smug when he makes suggestions..or implies
by his actions, motions, witnesses..and then changes up a bit..that he couldn’t pin on this one or that one..lack of evidence..etc. When in my mind..he is doing just that. Processing
and eliminating..until ..
Believing that KC did not murder Caylee and put her there leaves me with who did?
But it has also left me with did someone murder her and put her body there. Or did
something happen elsewhere and being out of the realm of the theory of what happened..were the remains transported there. Then, how would they know it was her.
There would have to be testing prior to, on something. I had read somewhere as I said that LE had retained some bones from some discovery, or different discoveries. Without seeing
some report of the findings..my mind became suspicious. And there are a few people that
come to mind that could be implicated. But why? Because they had their man..because of
the public outcry, demand..All the evidence pointed to her..but..the remains were found
somewhere that could not easily be tied to KC..or left room for doubt? They needed to be somewhere that would be more convincing? Because, as I said, I don’t buy it. Even if KC murdered her child …Why in the hell would she leave all the evidence, Chloroform syringe..and body down the street from her house a FEW yards from the road? COME ON..That is just completely out of my scope!KC is intelligent IMO she absolutely met no profile of what is being implied by this theory. NONE!! I mean I am stepping way out there with this..but I do not mind expressing as it is JMO
of possibilities that could be part of an equation. The only reason I see for movement of
the remains is either where they were would be to difficult to pin her..that maybe their
was some other evidence there with the remains, that could interfere possibly create doubt?that it was someone else not KC..Or someone murdered her..and planted them there after a period of
time when they thought the area was cleared..thus taking away implication of any involvement and because KC has already been tried and convicted guilty by many..HOW MANY PEOPLE HELD ON TO “I FEEL SHE IS VERY CLOSE TO HOME”????? RK said it 5 times
at least to Cutcher, the female officer that came out same time as Cain. Why was he
hung up on that? There were a total
of 4 officers there in those couple of days of 911 RK calls. Not to mention, Wells sitting
there with Kio. The searchers..the dogs..the head hunters..But no one found the remains.
Back in Nov on ” Close but no Caylee”..Comment made reference to it as well. That they were found and put back. Pretty close..Only difference is found somewhere else.
Hi Snoop. I highly doubt Baez would suggest she put the body there. Why would she say such a thing? I could tell from her video and interview that she is determined Casey is guilty so is probably painting Baez as a crazy, incompetent attorney like most of the bloggers are. He may lack years of experience but I don’t think he is crazy or incompetent. Besides, he has a lot of help. I’m sure this 3 years of experience will be worth 10 when it is all said and done, too. I think I see him greying before our eyes.
Hi Zuben,Got in a little late this eve just seen your post. We are experiencing record lows in Fl for this time of year!!!! BRRRRRRRRRRR..We had been having 80′s 60′s night to 50′s 30′s! It is horribly cold for us!!!!!:(
I just listened to that audio when we were reviewing the video last week or so.I only listened to the beginning, and couldn’t believe that being said. I thought it was strange, and went back to what I was doing..meaning to go back and listen to all.It was like a little conference or talk show. I do not see where I bookmarked..so I will need to go back and look for.
But meanwhile after thinking about the tips..the uneasy topic of the last couple posts..and St john being at Blanchard..I
was looking for the video where I recall someone telling them they could not search the Suburban area. When I went
back to the website I lurked at in the beginning of my following the case ..It is interesting to go back. So know I am
reading..time consuming LOL to where St john first comes to Fl and comments and insights as well.
So I will post the link to that audio..and anything else pertaining to ..as I get to them.
Have a good night! BRRRRRR
Hi Snoop & Zub,
I’m just getting back from my weekly poker game. $$ cha ching!! Had fun too. Someone brought the best spinach dip. Yum..
Weren’t we suppose to get a updated witness list with the 15-20 searchers?
Just wondering..
Well, I’m off to bed..be back 2morrow.
Good morning all. Snoop, the hurricane season was so nice to Florida, perhaps you’ll get the cold to make up for it. This raisins a question that’s been in the back of my mind. There was a black wool fiber found. Is it common for Floridians to have wool clothing? If I lived where it rarely got cold I’d not feel the need to buy wool.
JB, the deadline for the witness list is Dec. 31, isn’t it? Even then, I doubt the state will release it right away. Look at how much discovery we haven’t seen. There are a few releases than the media hasn’t gotten yet and it isn’t anything that was sealed other than the temporary seal on the defense discovery.
Have a great one all. Stay warm Snoop.
Morning .. just finished reading Ina’s post on the other thread ….. and honestly …. I didn’t understand anything……
ok sorry then Hazaka
It was a bit chaotic
Ina — to say the least!
Just noticed this article on the Huffington Post ….. most interesting:
“HOUSTON — Prosecutors on Monday told a judge presiding over an unusual court hearing on the constitutionality of the death penalty in Texas that they won’t participate in the legal proceeding and will “stand mute” during the hearing.
Despite the prosecution’s actions, the judge ordered the hearing to go forward and lawyers for John Edward Green Jr., the Houston man who asked for the proceeding, began calling witnesses.
The attorneys say will try to show that the way death penalty cases are handled in Texas creates a risk that innocent people will be executed. Green faces a possible death sentence if convicted of fatally shooting a Houston woman during a June 2008 robbery.
The hearing was ordered by Kevin Fine, a state district judge in Harris County who in the spring granted a motion by Green’s attorneys and declared the state’s death penalty statute unconstitutional. Under heavy criticism, Fine clarified then rescinded his ruling and ordered the hearing, saying he needed to hear evidence on the issue.
Experts on eyewitness identification, confessions and forensic evidence are among those expected to testify at the hearing, which resumes on Tuesday and could last up to two weeks. Green’s attorneys called four witnesses on Monday.
The first witness called was Richard Dieter, the executive director of the Death Penalty Information Center, a Washington, D.C.-based group that has been critical of capital punishment.
Dieter discussed the 138 exonerations of death row inmates that have occurred in the U.S. since 1978, including 12 in Texas. He said that for every nine executions that have occurred in the U.S., there has been one exoneration.
Dieter said his group’s review of these exonerations has shown that faulty eyewitness testimony, unreliable informant testimony and false confessions are some of the factors that have contributed to innocent people being wrongfully convicted.
“The system, the number (of exonerations), the fortuity of finding mistakes would lead me to believe there is certainly a risk of executing the innocent and that risk still exists today,” he said.
And — there’s more……….
Good for the judge, but won’t they just take another judge then?
Good question Ina …. but …. based on the entire post on the Huffington Post, this hearing will continue with this judge altho’ the prosecution choses to remain silent. Interesting.
Hi all. I finished with phase 1 of today’s work and thought I’d check in before beginning pahse 2. The clerk has a couple of additions. http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=6236234 The JAC responded to Baez needing more money becuause the transcriber renigged on the verbal agreement, I’m sure to object. Judge Perry did an in-camera inspection and there was corresponding both from and to Mr. Jackson. That’s the first time I’ve seen a response from the clerk. I searched the name with Casey’s to see if the name has been mentioned before and my memory was refreshed. There have been two, both inmates. Jerry is the one that sent a letter saying he know who the real killer is, an ex boyfriend, asking nothing in return for his information. Maybe he’s witting the clerk because Judge Evans ignored his letter. Well, at least he got a response this time.
http://www.docstoc.com/docs/10632582/Casey-Anthony-inmate-Jerry-Jackson-Letter-to-Judge-Evans The other’s name is Curtis, the Michigan inmate that claims she tried to hire a hit man. http://www.cayleedaily.com/2010/11/inmate-casey-anthony-looked-for-hitman/ I’ll bet she planned to pay him with grandma and Amy’s money. What makes his story so believable is that he said he has been associates of both Tony and Casey since late 2007. NOT! Casey didn’t even meet him till May of 08, right? Oh, I got it now! Tony is the hitman Jackson hooded her up with and the ex boyfriend the other Jackson is referring to is also TL. I wouldn’t want a lawsuit on my hands. Just kidding Mr. Lazarro. http://www.cayleedaily.com/2010/11/inmate-casey-anthony-looked-for-hitman/
Back to the grindstone.
Zub, I don’t remember where that wool fiber was found. Was it on the duct tape? So, here are some suggestions:
Wool gloves , Wool sweater, Wool hat. Anything the duck tape was sitting on as a roll. My duct tape rolls always collect stuff on the side. Also, the water depth reports says that AREA A was under water from Aug 18th to Aug 28th, so could debris float in and catch? Wind? Possible contamination from an agent? What were the collectors (Steve Hanson, Susan Mears) wearing that day? It was raining hard IIRC .
Check out Robert Kovac?
Just looking thru an old post and noticed what Zuben found.

I wonder if that’s a black wool sweater vest??
Hi NTS. There were wool fibers found both on the momma doll and the duct tape. No mention is made, that I reacal, as to if they are the same diameter or similar to each other. LE was wearing yellow raincoats, if I recall correctly, at first because it was raining. the reason I ask is because, although it is very cold there today, that is very rare and I wouldn’t think anyone would own wool gloves or coats there unless they fly in from a cold state for the winter. I would expect to find wool blankets and rugs in Florida stores but wouldn’t think wool clothing would be common. Another place it might be found is perhaps on special stuffed toys. But a lot of people react to wool and lanolin so even that wouldn’t be too common. I was hoping Snoop would chime in on how common wool items are in Florida. There is no way anyone was wearing wool June-August. Even a wool blanket would be put away for the summer, most often, unless it was a throw left in the living room or in a car for emergencies. But, black isn’t a very common color for a blanket either. Black wool would be most common for slacks, socks or a blazer/jacket and gloves. All of these items would be very warm, too warm unless it gets really cold.
You know, JB, I had a fleeting thought as i hit post comment, wondering if a stadium blanket coming from a sports team might have black wool in it. Maybe we should look at all the colors of team logos.
University of Central Florida’s official colors are gold and black. Hows that?
Here is a wool blend cap at the top of the UCF Knights store http://alfred.bncollege.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductSearchCommand?storeId=16552&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&extSearchEnabled=G+&displayImage=Y+&search=wool&x=0&y=0
I posted too quickly. There is a cap that is 100% wool too. I think they should get one of these hats and compare the fibers to the ones found. Of course, being on the momma doll wouldn’t say much but on the duct tape is another story and if they match the wool found on momma doll, even more important.
I apologize for numerous consecutive comments but here’s another pic, #9. Do you suppose the issued winter caps are made of wool? http://www.orlandosentinel.com/orl-caylee-anthony-crime-scene-photos-121808,0,4270354.photogallery
Hi all just got in reading your posts Zuben, be back in minute.
Wool seems to be the thread of choice for sports caps. The Gators have a wool cap too, filled in black: http://www.lids.com/pid/20143126?ipsrc=media&reftype=pp&sptype=shopzilla&cpid=shopzilla

Snoop, I’ve had a long day but I’ll check first thing in the morning to read. Let me know how much wool you have lying around. I’m sure it would come in handy tonight if it doesn’t make you itchy.
JB, I didn’t find any wool vests but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some at different schools, especially NY or Ohio.
Night all.
Zuben there is rarely much wool found in Fl. Perhaps, rugs, maybe a blanket..but we don’t even have a lot of wool blankets here..fleece.. etc There is not
the necessity for winter apparel only on occasion. Like now BRRRRRR
The heavier apparel one might wear for warmth in Fl would generally not consist of wool.
Most anything that would, would also be a blend perhaps not pure wool. Even my gloves are
polyester… Caps would be of a blend..maybe with silk..polyester etc. Our winter clothing inventory in dept stores are VERY limited!!!In all actuallity, there are
people that still just wear shorts and sweatshirts with socks and shoes vs shorts and flip flops LOL Most people do not have more than say sweatshirts and and hoodie sweatshirts,
worn under a down jacket. No wool.
So I have not looked back to see what it says about the wool..but I would say perhaps something a snowbird might wear..that comes for the winters..Or perhaps a transplant from a northern state that brings their winter attire with them. In other words say perhaps someone
from MD who moves to Fl.
No, you would not be wearing wool in the summer months here, let alone I own nothing
that is of wool BRRR here period. I have lived here 30 yrs. I have fleece etc. Also, the temperatures were not like they
are now in 2008. The month of Dec 2008 was 70′s and 80′s ..60′s at night with one day
being in the 60′s and 1 night reaching a low of 44..Which was Dec. 13th. It is possible that
the caps were wool. Or that someone may have been wearing something on Dec. 13th.
NTS..It would be HIGHLY unlikely that the tape would be sitting on anything wool in FL.
Most people have a jacket..some sweats..MAYBE a pair of gloves..Although I own a pair
I still have not used them even in this cold weather LOL I have not seen anyone with any on either. I guess its kind of funny..We complain it is so cold..be less than willing to put on
all that attire!!! This is the first time I have worn socks this year LOL..
You bring up the water..Good dates yes..Faye arrived the 20th. But considering we had been
in a drought, Aug 11th it would not have been flooded!
Ina..Long time no see!..I have not read the comment Hazaka was talking about..I will look
in a bit. Welcome back!
Hazaka..GREAT LINK!!!!! VERY INTERESTING!!
JB..Good catch with Kovac!..Also I have always been a interested in those txts from him. hmmm!
What was being promoted? She could have been getting a commission as well?
I do not wear wool, not even a blend. No need, and it does make me ITCHY!!!LOL
I guess if I had a wool rug or a wool sweater and I was trying to get dog hair off of it, I could possibly sit the roll down on the item, but otherwise, I just don’t see where black wool could come in. What about wool seat covers in your car? I also suppose this could actually come from the factory. IMO
Thank you Snoop. I expected as much. If I moved there I’d leave any wool behind unless I planned to come back for visits in winter or if I only lived there for only part of the year. But if I lived there for the winter months I think I’d give away any wool. I could conceivably have wool fibers in my car though. I think it is reasonable to conclude the wool fibers either came from a wool baseball cap or from something that belonged to a traveler, say someone that traveled from NY to FL, back and forth. It is possible, if the LE black caps in Dec, are made of wool, both the momma doll and tape would have had fibers transferred from there. If someone loved it so much they may have even wore the cap in summer, it remained stuck on the doll and tape from contact with it in the winter months. I could see someone wearing the UCF cap year round, possibly. Some men wear hats all the time. Shiny heads need to be protected. Here, some African Americans wear stocking caps year round but it seems like it would be too hot to wear a wool one in summer.
Hazaka, please keep us posted on that. IMO the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment. Not only that it makes no sense and certainly doesn’t lower the crime rate. I would be stupid to expect to teach my child not to steal by shoplifting. And how could he learn to never hit his playmate if I ground him to his room for the rest of his time under my care, or worse, kill him. Killing is killing. Hammurabi’s code is better left behind. Yes, the Old Testament supports it but we must remember that was a different age in the evolution of man. That was the Arian age when man was warlike, taking from others as they moved on from being over crowed and subservient. Then along comes the Piscean master to teach turning the other cheek and serve others selflessly while overturning the money changer tables. But its time to move beyond that too. What is best for all is the new order. It is not best for murderers to be murdered. They need an opportunity to atone and learn a better way. They could serve humanity in atonement for the rest of their life if the prison system got smart. I’m sure there is a private business owner out there that would jump at the chance to pay them very little rather than pay illegals very little. Well, my sermon is over. Carry on and have a great day.
Hi all interesting about the wool, I googled wool florida. http://shop.seminoles.com/COLLEGE_Florida_State_Seminoles/Florida_State_Seminoles_FSU_Black-Tan_Varsity_Wool_And_Leather_Letterman_Jacket ? is that not a bit too hot for that State?
Ina..Again a wool blend, mostly polyester..but there is a wool blend none the less.
A varsity jacket is a varsity jacket. I mean all teams have them as all teams travel.
Football is in the winter months as well. The particular website is Fl State..which is
in Tallahassee which gets much colder than Central Fl when we do get short cold snaps.
However, you would not see people wearing these 90% of the time it would be too warm.
However, when they (players or fans) travel to games north Fl or another state..is where
they come into use. Considering the wool has been brought up much..I think I will go
into the docks and check it out I guess.
But bringing up any of the sport items sounds feasible if someone was wearing them I guess.
Zuben, just seen your post from yesterday Dec. 7@ 2:07pm..I must have missed it last evening? Well anyway, thank you..interesting.
Good evening everyone,
When I think of someone wearing anything made of wool in the middle of Florida summer I can only think of one thing. The wool roll up winter caps. Do they have a name?
That sounds like someone who’s busy kidnapping or robbing not the KC that we all love who wouldn’t be caught at a dog show wearing such a thing.
Now I’m really curious because forensics have not come back on the wool fiber, as far as I know so I’m wondering “Do the fibers from the doll and the duct tape match?”
Another thing I’m curious about.. Has anyone heard if the DNA results are back yet?
Hi JB, not me I haven’t.
http://www.bonanza.com/booths/rkurmudgeon/items/Knit_Caps__100__virgin_wool__hand_knit just a wool thing again, this is 100% virgin wool. The seller is from Orlando.
